Hi all,

I'm a Mac user and when my wife bought a Toshiba Satellite A200 (PSAE6E) with two HD's I thought I'd give it a shot and use one for XP, the other for Mac OS 10.5. I'm using Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD Intel_Amd (sse2/sse3) EFI V8. Booting the install DVD ok, prepping HD ok, installing Mac OS ok. I kept the default kernel, installed all ATI graphics drivers (the card is Radeon Mobility HD 2600, not seen here but the readme says it's supported) and NIC drivers. I know I probably won't get ethernet to work out of the box, but don't need it right away so it's ok.

Booting fails though. Graphics mode leads to a gray screen with a prompt for manual restart. Verbose mode is full of info and since I have no idea how to capture them all, here's what happens at the end :

Video Card is recognized as ATY, RadeonX1900 series

NTFS drivers mounts the NTFS disk (version 3.1, sees the correct partition name)

then...

localhost root[37]: Recreating System.keychain because it cannot unlock; see /usr/libexec/security-checksystem

localhost /System/Library/CoreServices/coreservicesd[43]: /dev/fsevents filter failed! (Bad file descriptor)

And then it hangs forever.

I have no idea how to play with boot options or modify my install (or modify the install DVD and try again from scratch). So I'd be very happy to hear from you all... :D Anyone willing to help ?

Thaaaaaaaanks in advance !
