lnknprksoldier
OK first here is my specs HP Pavillion dv6700 Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 1.80GHz Interl 950 Express Chipset 3GB DDR2 Ram 250GB 5400rpm SATA Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 SuperMulti DVD±RW with lightscribe 15.4" WXGA+ BrightView Display 5-in-1 Digital Media Reader 802.11b/g WLAN & Bluetooth Trying to dual boot OSX and Vista What would be the best ISO to get? I have tried Leo4all, iATKOS, and ToH. None of them have worked. The Leo4All was the closest. It got installing then at about 75% it failed and said that it could not read the mail package. Any idea why it would do that? iATKOS just freezes when loading up before i get to the installer. And the ToH loads up and just gives me a blue screen. I think its not loading the graphics driver or something. Anyway what iso should i get...should i try Leo4all v3? If so could somebody give me a link to a good one. One that works lol. Thanks, any help would be much appreciated. EDIT: OK, I downloaded Leo4all V3....I can boot into the installer and everything but when I go to install it tells me "could not validate the contents of leopard 10.5.2" Could all of my troubles be because I don't have my partition set as a MBR.... How do I set the 'Partition' as Master Boot Record with out deleting my vista partition too? If you guys are pretty sure it will work if i delete everything ill back up my stuff and try it. The Minstrel
Is there a L4Av3? Didn't know about that. Give Kalyway's latest a shot. It worked (almost) fine for me (see my topic, it's around here somewhere). If you don't know how to use IRC then it's up on TPB (the version I used and it works fine). Thats what this implies anyway. (http://osx86leo4all.wikidot.com/installation-support) OK thanks ill give that a shot..hope it works, running low on DVDs lol. BTW your post was for AMD do you think it will work as well for Intel? Which Kalyway release is the latest? The Minstrel
I should imagine you'd have an easier time on an Intel system because the Mac's hardware is now based around and Intel system. I had a bit of trouble but that was mainly due to my own error (not following instructions, basically). And Kalyway's latest is 10.5.2 (I think there's an update to 10.5.3, though, don't quote me on that). The Minstrel
Nope, that's right. Windows can't read the iso properly but I assure you that everything is there. Was that picture taken as you were booting the disk (to install OSX) or was it trying to load the OS? The Minstrel
Hmm... bad burn, perhaps? If you have another disk spare, try burning it at x4 speed and see if it helps matters.
