1123 Posted June 18, 2008 Share Posted June 18, 2008 background: System: T60P GFX: ATI V5200 w/256MB of Ram (variant of X1600) OS: Kalyway 10.5.2 Problem: System crashes periodically when ATIinject is used in conjection with QE/CI. If QE/CI is disabled, ATIinject provides dual screens and res switch and system is rock solid, if QE/CE is enabled without ATIinject there is no dual screens and res switch but system never crashes. *Edit* Nevermind, the problem was with the hardware (video card). Issue appeared in Windows Linux and OS X (with Natit, ATIinject and GFX string) so it was not related to ATIinject as originally suspected. Windows was causing blue screens twice per day. A little poking arount the internet reveals that the V5200 used in the t60P is a POS and suffers from frequent infinite loop lockups. No clue how to nuke this thread. Admin kill at will.
