breathemetal Posted June 16, 2008 Share Posted June 16, 2008 ok here's what i did i got Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD Intel_Amd (sse2/sse3) EFI V8 and burned it to a dvd im pretty sure i burned it right i mean, it boots, but it doesnt seem to be working i dont hit F8 or anything i just let it boot by hitting enter, is that right? idk anyways, then i get a firewall error, and a SAM mutlimedia fail thing, and then it says Still Waiting For Root Device and it just keeps repeating that line over and over do i need to enter some sort of boot option or soemthing? im a noob to this. i have a e6600 and a evga 680i sli board 4gbs of ddr2 800mhz ram and a 8800gtx 768mb if you need any more info i will supply it. please help, and thanks a ton in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/110991-kalyway-issue/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
