heyster
Dear Mac friends First of all some background information. Time machine does not start at my Leo. But I have make for 3 days backups with it. Did update yesterday from 10.5.2 to --3 but I have a Nviadia 7... serie. That means I can boot with the update -r comand. I did try to boot with the Toh Leo DVD and started Tme machine. Untill there nothing special. Did try to restore the with Time machine but I think I need to first "activate" the partition where the restore should go. I tried to copy from \Volumes\disk0s2 *.* to \Volumes\disk0s1\ but am stuck from there. Please help me with this issue. We keep in touch
heyster
Lucky enough I could start with the Leopard Toh DVD Time Machine. The restore of 30GB needed 1 hour but now I am up and running.
