Download Application

UPDATE:

Just used the application it downloaded HIGNFY Uncut which is a 45 minute program in just under 7 minutes. The quality is okay, better than flash stream off the website anyway.

This program is quite cool, It spoofs the Mobile Version of Safari from the iPhone and downloads using that. Kudos to the developer and I'll definitely be using this application.

I saw something on Sunday morning BBC1 the other week, discussing broadband in the country and its affect on businesses. They were using the iPlayer as an example, and it showed a woman downloading shows using Safari and Tiger on a Powerbook G4, I wondered how on earth they were doing it...

I have made a new iPlayer downloader app 'iPlayer Grabber'. It features an integrated web browser so you just need to click on the program you want to download, no messing about with copying program ID's from Safari and pasting them somewhere else. Like most other apps it uses Paul Battley's ruby script

you can get it here
