nvanberkel
First of all, thank you for this communication. Before this update, I had a working 10.5.2 Leopard running. My "About this Mac" overview wasn't working, and after some research, I saw a updated AppleSMbios.kext. This must solve the problem. I replaced the Kext, and repaired the privelleges. After a reboot, Leopard was booting fine. But after loaded my Desktop, my Keyboard/mouse freezed. Both are USB devices. I tried PS2, but that doesn't made any sense. If I boot with -s -v, I can use my keyboard in the command prompt in save mode. But after quiting save mode, and booting my computer, I can't use it any more. My system overview: Intel Pentium IV Hypertreading, 2.8 GHZ (SSE2 Supported) Asrock P4TV8 Motherboard Hercules Radeon 9800XT 256MB 2056MB RAM Iatkos V1.0 R2 9.2.0 Kernel (Updated from 9.1.0 to 9.2.0 successfully) Leopard running on a 180GB Harddrive Leopard was running well, but after the replaced .kext it doesn't response on my Keyboard/Mouse interaction. I didn't make a backup of the old .kext, so stupid... My question, is there a fix for this problem? Or a method to get the old .kext back? Sorry for my bad English. I come from Holland. Thanks for reading this topic. Kind regards, Niels
