GLRayner
Hi, I'm reletively new to this whole Mac on PC thing. Been wanting to test it out to see if I could do it. I like testing my computer skills I guess. But for some reason I can't seem to find a working bootable copy of OSx86 I have a bootable kalyway disk I think 10.5 and a 10.4 Jas disk but it won't boot up or give me the whole "Press any key" to boot screen when I start my sony Vaio laptop (VGN-FS950) model. I've checked the OSX86 project wiki and can't seem to figure out why I can't boot in and start this glorious adventure into the MAC world. My laptop specs are intel celeron M (SSE2) 1 gig of ram 20 gig blank drive (formated to FAT 32) Can anyone help? Suzie's Soliloquy
Is your Bios set up to allow you to boot from CD? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/105063-relatively-new-to-osx86/#findComment-747783 Share on other sites
GLRayner
Yes, I arranged it to boot from cd then hard drive on the biosI honestly think it might be the disks I'm downloading because only the kalyway disk had a bootloader img that allowed it to be made "bootable" in magiciso. if thats the wrong burn program can someone let me know what is better so I can burn the disk Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/105063-relatively-new-to-osx86/#findComment-747786 Share on other sites
