mrigank
hi, This thread seams to be dead anyways I still posting.it seems like there are few people in this forums who have NVIDIA GeForce Go 7200. I am facing the same problem.I have updated from 10.5.2 to 10.5.5 and i have nvinject go 0.2.0 installed. but my VRAM is showing 32 mb.I have searched a lot on this forum and here and there but didn't find any solution yet.I have tried 9f23 Intel/ATI/Nvidia/OpenGL installer , nvinject installer. so any help is really appreciated. mrigank
update: hi every one i am here again.I tried to install nvidia driver manually.given here.... http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=111072 and my vga driver are screwed up .now when i am booting it says vga driver not matched. when I am trying to restore my driever from the desktop extension(made a whole copy on desktop) .it says extention folder is read only file system. here are the step i am fallowing. boot in single mode /sbin/fsck -fy /sbin/mount -uw then cp -R users/%accountname%/desktop/extensions system/library/extensions it says system/library/extensions is a Read-only file system. even when i am trying to delete extension.mkext file its says override rw-r--r-- root/wheel for system/library/extensions.mkext? when i pass y.it says system/library/extensions.mkext is read-only file system. I know its noob question. i am still learning mac so be kind..

apocolipse269
good and band news :/ Good news is your kext's made my system boot a whole lot faster (well like 1min 30 secs faster, was getting stuck on blue screen after apple screen for about a min or so, now its right to desktop) bad news, still no qe/ci :/ any ideas on what you did specifically for qe/ci ? possibly some system dependant kext's for pci ? mrigank
hmm it seems like no universal solution.try to add device id and vendor id in plist and try this http://nvinstaller.com/ also.confirm that all my package kext are loaded.
apocolipse269
I've installed all kext's properly and they're loaded. i am getting Couldn't alloc class "NVDA" Couldn't alloc class "NVDANV40Hal" in system.log right before nvinject is loaded, though after it says nvdanv40hal and nvresman are loaded and nvinject as well ( i put my dev id 01d6 in all kexts ) still no qe/ci :/
