If You can BOOT ONLY FROM DVD:

BOOT TO MAC OS

GO TO System/Installation/Packages| On The DVD

You'll find BOOT_efi_guid and BOOT_efi_mbr

Choose the one that suits you.

After It finishes Installing Take The DVD Out And REBOOT!

It should Boot with Darwin.

:wink2:

This is what I see on the Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD:

bofors:Packages bofors$ pwd
/Volumes/Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD Intel_Amd/system/Installation/Packages
bofors:Packages bofors$ ls
ACL.pkg BSD.pkg German.pkg MigrationAssistant.pkg PodcastCapture.pkg iPodSupport.pkg
AdditionalEssentials.pkg	BaseSystem.pkg Japanese.pkg OSInstall.mpkg Safari.pkg iTunes.pkg
AdditionalFonts.pkg DVDPlayer.pkg Java.pkg OSInstall.pkg Spanish.pkg
AddressBook.pkg Directory.pkg JavaTools.pkg OSUpgrade.pkg X11User.pkg
AsianLanguagesSupport.pkg	Essentials.pkg Mail.pkg OxfordDictionaries.pkg iCal.pkg
Automator.pkg French.pkg MediaFiles.pkg Patches iChat.pkg

Are you sure you are using the same "Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD Intel Amd" disk?

Are you sure the path is /System/Installation/Packages ?
