StateCCM Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 i put the tiger version in 10.5.8 pressed any key and got to a text information screen then at the bottom it stopped. and i waited a bit and it said:' "Still waiting for root device" it isnt picking up my hardrive. do i have to wipe the disk at FAT32 fileing system? ==My Harddrive== Maxtor IEE 80GB Not SATA Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
juragan Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 i was using Hiren's Disk and boot up with it. use magic boot and select the active drive to the partition where you install the osx86. restart. and cross your finger. hope it will work. :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
