alirarra
Hi, this last three days i've been trying to install Leopard on my dual-core PC. I've had all sorts of problems like the HD that doesn't appear at the Utilitydisk and the problem "waiting for root device" or so and I have actually solve all of does (except for the HD but I used an external USB Disk and the Utilitydisk recognized it so I think it should work), but after all the suffering I manage to start the installation BUT.... it last about 5 minutes untill a message appears saying "Install Failed". It also says the installer could not validate the contents of the "essentials" package. I've been looking all over internet for an answer but all the ones that i've tried (burning at the slowest speed the DVD among them) failed. PLEASE I need advice. These are my PC specs.... fucstarturface
i had the same problem with three Motherboards.I finally got a gigabyte nforce 4 chipset board to work flawless. In my personal experience Kalyway doesnt care for Via or Intel chipsets. so basically i got a brand new INtel board an ausus board with a via chipset and a ecs with a intel chipset just sitting here collecting dust.
