foobarro
So, I just got a beautiful new Lenovo x300 via work - and wondering how much success I'll have getting 10.5.2 on it. Anyway tried yet? What installer did you use? What works? What doesn't? Thanks in advance...
cpnnpr
I am also interested to know if OS X will work on the Lenovo x300... Either there is no information on here or the board's search function absolutely sucks.
raysmd
so have I. Anyway, I've tried iATKOS 2.0i and the installed seemed to work fine. I had video (QE/QI), no sound, no WiFi, and no ethernet. For the WiFi, you have to replace the Intel WiFi card with an Atheros one. However, I was unable to get it to boot after a 2-3 reboots. It stops right before the login screen (i.e., the blue screen of death on a hackintosh). I haven't tried anything else yet. If OSX does work on this laptop, then it's the best of both worlds. It's way better than the Air. I wonder if the OSX that's installed on the Air is used for the X300 would work. -rays
foobarro
There's a thread here that's got more info: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t...;highlight=x300 But it still doesn't sound too promising to me...
