Dave A Posted February 25, 2006 Share Posted February 25, 2006 I have 10.4.4 installed, and for the most part it works fine, but every so often a program will stop responding or crash alltogether. So where is the problem? Is it a problem with my hardware/drivers, a problem associated with using a patched kernel/system, or is it just the way OS X is? I don't have access to one of the new intel macs, but I find it hard to believe that they have this same problem too. Does anybody here have a 10.4.4 installation running on generic hardware that doesn't suffer from random program crashes? oh and one more thing, sometimes when I try to restart or shutdown the OS will just freeze at the blue shudown screen and never power off or restart.
