  1. I got my system full working right now except Usb3.0 and Wireless. Caldigit kext's in ml beast giving me KP. Motherboard: Asus p9x79 deluxe Usb 3.0:ASMedia ASM1042 USB 3.0 xHCI Controller Wireless:Atheros AR9002WB-1NG Wireless Network Adapter Anyone with this motherboard make this two work? Thanks.
  2. Thought I'd share this. I upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite on my system with a Gigabyte Z87x-UD5 TH (F5-beta firmware) and was tinkering around and saw that my USB3 ports were not working well. There was about a 2 minute delay on keyboard and mouse (if plugged into USB3 port, it was fine with USB2) at the Mac OSX Login screen. It was fine at bios and fine at the clover boot screen. USB3 was never that stable under Mavericks to begin with. Took a while and after several re-install. I decided to reset my CMOS (pulled out the battery). The Bios was simply set at with Optimized Default setting. Seems to have fixed the problem. USB3 stable and no lag with keyboard and mouse. Logitech Webcam not crashing anymore Added boot-args= -gux_defer_usb2 , NOT using GenericUSBXHCI.kext. Also, Audio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet all now work off motherboard! Trim Enable: Clover config > Kernel and Kext Patch > IOAHCIBlockStorage > Find : 004150504C452053534400 Replace : 0000000000000000000000 Audio : toleda/audio_CloverALC WiFI : Clover /kext/10.10/WifiInjector.kext Ethernet: Clover /kext/10.10/AppleIntelE1000e.kext Bluetooth : BTFirmwareUploader.kext using Pokenguyen Hackintosh Vietnam Tool 1.8 NOTE: Bluetooth detects Magic Trackpad but won't detect the Magic Mouse. I don't use the magic mouse, but was just testing. Hope this helps someone. And thanks to all who made this possible

    Time Machine Slow

Did fresh install of Sierra (vanilla), and USB seems to be running well (Write benchmark to USB 3.0 drive @ 135MBps). Time Machine, however has only backed up 100GB in 27 hours. At this rate, it will take days to backup ~450GB. Any idea what might be going on here? Machine config is: Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3 (rev. 2.1 / F9) CPU: Intel LGA1150 Core i7 @ 4.0 Ghz Graphics: Gigabyte GV-N970G1 Gaming

    Asrock H170m PRO4S problema USB

  7. Hello, There is a solution to my problem? do not work as USB 3.0 ports 3.1. Also not working the sound card and for this I thought I Buy the Asus Xonar x3 to Solve
  8. I finally installed el capitan. My computer has only usb 2.0 on the motherboard and a usb 3.0 pci-e add-on card (In Windows it is recognized as Renesans Nec µPD720202). Both usb 2.0 and 3.0 port were working in Yosemite. Now, on El Capitan, usb 2.0 ports are working, but the usb 3.0 ports on the usb card are not. They are recognized and even the external drive, plugged in the usb 3.0 is recognized but it does't show up. I tried some other usb devices but they don't work too...

    Orinico USB 3.0 card

The Orinico card linked here at Newegg definitely works right out of the box on my Mac Pro 3,1 on 10.8.2. No hacking, drivers, or anything required. The only thing is you must plug-in a molex power cable into the card for it to work. There is an extra molex cable in the older Mac Pros for a DVD, so you can buy an extension try to get it down (I haven't done that, the drive is hanging out of my computer with a short extension now). It will not work properly without this cable attached. There are two USB ports on the outside and a connector that can be split into another two so you could replace the USB ports on the front with USB 3.0 ports if you're adventurous. I haven't checked out how hard that would be yet. [ edit: You also must remove PXHCD and/or any other kind of driver hacked or not so that the Apple driver takes control ] [ Update: User TimeWalker75a has verified this also works for the ExpressCard version of this card for laptops, just forget about the power cord part] Here is the link: http://www.newegg.co...=9SIA1DS0DV6313
  10. CPU | Intel core i7 6700 3.4Ghz Mobo | Gigabyte H170-D3hp Ram | Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) 2133Mhz GPU | Galax GTX970 4GB SSD | Samsung 850 Evo 500GB PSU | Thermaltake 600w OS | 10.11.6 I initially thought this issue was a blown port and while it still could be hardware I've noticed something very odd. Two days ago I was using a USB 3.0 portable drive doing some colour grading in Da Vinci resolve. Quite suddenly, the mouse stopped working and then a couple of seconds later the system reset itself. I have no idea what happened but when the system rebooted a message popped up and for a tense few seconds I was worried the drive was ruined. The message said something like 'drive connected to mac but does not have power' or something along those lines but specifically indicating that I should plug the device in to a port that has power. This was the same port the drive was plugged in to when the reset happened and so I unplugged it and moved it to the port above and it worked. I was curious about the issue today and didn't have any critical work to do so I had a test with another bus powered drive that also previously worked fine. This one also had not encountered any dodginess like the sudden system reset either. I plugged it in to the port that I knew had caused issue and received the same message. I plugged it in to the port immediately adjacent and also received the same message. The thing is the drive is spinning so it *is* receiving power and the fact that it's giving me that message suggested to me that is registering on at least some level with OSx. Anyone know what I should do?
  12. Since when I updated to 10.13.6 (and possibly .5 since i don't use usbs that often) my usb 3.0 drives don't work on usb 3.0 ports or hubs and work only if inserted slowly and get recognized as usb 2.0s in that case (480mb/s in sysinfo) and if i try to put my hackintosh to sleep the screen turns black for a second and then it takes me to the login screen instead of going to sleep, this usb issue happened to me on 10.13.2/3 too, is there a way to fix it ? Thank you CLOVER not working usb 3.0s+ sleep.zip

Grazie anticipatamente!
