Grazie in anticipo.

  4. Hi I am try to install High Sierra, as per ##### I have have successfully booted from the install usb drive and have booted into "Install macOS High Sierra". I had to add a boot flag (-no_compat_check) to the clover bootloader in order for the usb stick to boot properly. Also, at first I couldn't see the SSD drive in disk utility, but I fixed that by asking disk utility to show all drives. Onto the current problem. I am having major issues trying to install High Sierra to a NVMe SSD. When I run "Install macOS High "Sierra" I get the following error: "The version of macOS installed on this mac is newer than the version you are trying to install. When a new update is available, you can install it from the Updates plane in the Mac App Store. If you want to reinstall macOS, please use macOS recovery." Also, It doesn't matter if the startup volume is formatted as APFS or HFS+. If I format the drive using GPARTED on linux, the installer just says the startup volume doesn't have journaling enable. If I then run disk utility and enable journaling on the startup volume, then go back to the installer, I get the aforementioned error msg. I have the following specs: i9-7900. Asus Prime X299 Deluxe. ADATA 512GB NVMe SSD. How do I fix this issue?
  5. Hello! My internal SSD lifetime is running out so I'm thinking how to upgrade it. I don't want to replace it with slow Sata SSD so I want to buy OWCMercury Helios and install new nvme fast ssd, but I won't be able to boot from it using standard boot loader.... Is it possible to boot nvme ssd using Clover on real iMac?
  6. I jusst bought a 500gb crucial mx500 to see wheter the slow response of my hackintosh was due to the old 2.5" 500gb wd black hdd that i savaged from a broken laptop at home to install osx the first time but i don't know how to transfer my datas, os, programs and bootloader on the new drive since crucial only shows how to clone the drive but doesn't (obiously) refer to the clover boot partition, how can i do that? and what filesystem should i use? apfs or hfs+? I can also use windows or linux programs since i'm on a triple boot setup
  7. Hey guys, I really need help on this as I've tried many things and cannot get it working. I have recently upgraded my hardware to what's in my signature. The order was, I updated my old computer to Mavericks, then switched out the motherboard, processor and video card. I got the boot working with Clover or with Chameleon from USB. The last thing I did was clone my hard drive to a new SSD (sped up boot from 1:30 to around 10 seconds). I have this weird issue where 70% of the time when I reboot, my wallpaper on my primary (which is hooked to displayport so it shows as the second monitor) monitor is reset. If I launch mission control (used to be expose), I see on the top that I have extra desktops. So instead of just my Primary being Desktop 1 and my Secondary being Desktop 2, my primary desktop will also have Desktop 3 Desktop 4 and so on. I get a new desktop when I reboot. Sometimes I don't and the wallpaper I picked 5 reboots ago worked! I have clover installed onto my EFI and is set for uEFI motherboards. I've changed tons of different settings in clover and nothing fixes it. I've even recreated the user account and it still isn't working. It did seem to work for about 3-4 reboots when I created a temp user. I never even logged in as this user, I just created it. It may have kept working, but when I saw that happening, after a few reboots I decided to recreate the user account. I have a self-made UUID in my config.plist for clover and I think everything else looks fine. I have a GTX 780, which seems to work fine with OS X drivers without doing anything special. Is there a chance that OS X is loading faster than it is detecting my monitor, so it loads a default desktop? I don't know, that sound crazy, but I'm desperate... I greatly appreciate any help as this and getting bluetooth to actually pair with my keyboard are my last 2 issues.

Fonte: Br-Mac.org

  13. Hi everyone. I have a problem with my hackintosh recognizing my SSD Expresscard drive on boot. I have an HP DV8t Pavilion laptop, and everything working as I want but this. I can get the drive to mount when closing the lid and putting the computer to sleep then waking it. However, no matter what I try, I cannot get it recognized at boot. I initially wanted to boot os x from this drive, but it cannot be done I don't believe. I've tried many DSDT mods but haven't found one that recognizes it at boot. I am also using a jmicron ata kext. If anyone has any information, please let me know! First make a backup of the original kext then copy the extracted in /System/Library/Extensions/ and launch this command with terminal sudo touch /System/Library/Extensionssudo kextcache -u If it don't create the new kernelcache launch this from terminal (from Yosemite, also single mode is supported) kextkache -system-prelinked-kernel If you have trouble try this: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298507-enable-trim-on-non-apple-ssd/
  15. Hi, I've got the intel 600p M.2 1024gb ssd and installed it as a second drive. High sierra 10.13.3 become very slow and even unresponsive when I copy a large amout of data to it - the more data copied, the slower it is and I see the kernel task consuming cpu, but not too much - about 70-80%. After 100-200 gb the whole system hangs and I see nothing in the logs (probably I just don't realize what shall I look for). It has 512 bytes sector size and, as Intel said, it cannot be changed. Not sure it is the source of the problem, but anyway - is it possible to use it with high sierra 10.13.3 at all? Thank you!

  17. Hi everyone, I am new, I hope I am posting in the correct forum. My specs: Processor: Core i5 6500 Skylake 3.2ghz Mobo: Gigabyte h170-d3h M2SSD: WD Black 256gb PCIe (Mac OSx) SSD: Samsung 860 Evo (WIndows 10) HDD: WD Blue 1TB GPU: Radeon RX 480 Monitor: BenQ RL2460 24" I was able to install High Sierra on a new m2 drive, that I added to the above configuration with windows 10 already installed. I had a few issues during install, including the monitor turning off at boot screen. Unfortunately, this persists even now. It turns off at about 60% of the progress bar, and to turn it on again I have to unplug/plug back my hdmi. Additionally, while all of the usb ports worked during install and while running it out of the clover I had on the usb stick, only the rear ones appear to work now. The audio doesn't work either, though I added the correct patch according to my mobo Lastly, my other drives are not recognized in the bios anymore. They run fine from boot override but they don't show up in the boot priority (while multiple entries of mac OS do, and they seem to increase in number at every reboot) Thanks in advance for the help
  18. Ciao a tutti ragazzi!
  19. Hey guys, hows it going?? I'm new to creating topics, but I've read a few and often solved my previous hackintosh problems this way so thanks for that, and in advance for hopefully solving this issue! I just bought a new SSD (Samsung 840 EVO 120GB), and decided to use it as a Mavericks drive for development/design, as it just so happened to coincide beautifully with the release of Mavericks! Previously I have had a stable boot with Mountain Lion (up to 10.8.2/10.8.3) I believe... and I can still run this on a different hard-drive, so the only component that is different is the SSD, sleep has never worked properly but I believe this is due to having NullCPUManagement installed when it wasn't needed. I followed a commonly found Mavericks install process (documented on a website not supported by this site), and I have working sound, graphics and everything else I believe (but for iMessage so far).. however I can currently only boot off the bootable USB and not the SSD itself. I have tried using a DSDT, and a DSDT-free installation and installing NullCPUManagement when it shouldn't be required. I have the CMOS reset fix kext installed, and fakeSMC, and have tried GraphicsEnabled=No and Yes, and also PCIRoot, and -f -v -F bootflags. However, even with verbose boot mode I get no kernal panic as such - my computer just reboots almost instantly should I try boot from SSD to Mavericks HOWEVER my computer will boot to my other OS X install (Mountain Lion), installed on a hard-drive, when booting from the SSD (so bootloader - Chimera 2.2 I believe it is - works for Mountain Lion, or to boot to another hard-drive atleast, but will not boot to Mavericks installed on the SSD). There appears to be some error messages saying error:unable to handle, but my ML install had a few of these (different ones I believe) and worked. I used the pause|break button to freeze and caught these errors with verbose boot: - Unable to handle key MLB - Unable to handle key ROM - Unable to handle key SystemAudioVolume - Unable to handle key boot-gamma (please see attached image for the screenshot) comp specs: Gigabyte Z77-D3H, Intel i5 3570k 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHZ MSI 670 GTX OC 2GB Samsung 840 EVO kexts I have: fakeSMC, CMOS reset fix, Atheros for ethernet profile/spec I am using: Mac Pro 3,1 (apparently this is the recommended one to use for Mavericks) Can anyone offer any advice, anything I can try? I personally think it is an SSD related problem, and I will try installing Chameleon/maybe switching from SATA III ports to SATA II ports to see if this is the problem. As it stands I have left the install of Mavericks pretty much as it was so I don't mind wiping the drive, re-installing or anything like that. Thanks a lot for any help Dan
  20. Hey i need help installing osx mountain lion pronto Need to dualboot 1 ssd with mavericks and mountain-lion and other ssd with win7 alone I have already installed mavericks on one partition of the ssd works like a charm!! 22. Hi guys, I have a HP Probook 4540s with an i5 3380M CPU, 8gb RAM and a 250GB SSD. I have booted to the installer and installed El Capitan to the SSD but after a restart I boot once again via the USB but this time hoping to boot my fresh install from the SSD but it is not there. The UEFI clover boot loader is only showing my USB boot stick and not the SSD with the install of El Capitan on. The SSD was erased and formatted, journaled and GUID. I have made hack's before but never had this issue after installing OS X Any ideas on this please ?
  23. Hi! I want to resize my system's partitions, but I have a problem. Many small partitions like EFI, Windows MSR and Recovery and macOS Recovery are between that partitions on screenshot. Can I use easeus Partition Master to shrink Windows 10 partition, move this free space next to macOS partition by gparted and resize macOS partition by DU? My hackintosh is encrypted by FileVault 2. My specs: Motherboard: Gigabyte P85-D3 GPU: GTX 750 Ti CPU: i5-4670 RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1666 MHz Ethernet: Realtek rtl8111 Sound card: ALC887 Disks: GoodRam Iridium Pro 240GB and HDD 1TB 5400 RPM OS: macOS Sierra 10.12.6 and Windows 10 Creators Update. 24. In this video I first show the boot time of my system running on an OCZ Vertex 3 SSD APFS formatted and with TRIM enabled. As you can see the boot has a long pause at these "FIPSPOST_USER" stuff. The solution that always worked for me is to create a time machine backup and restore to disk. As you can see after the restoring that long pause is drastically reduced. The initial boot time is 45 seconds circa, after restoring is down to 22 seconds. TRIM is still enabled and disk is APFS.
