  1. Hi All, I've currently got Yosemite chugging along nicely, and want to get Windows 7 installed on a separate drive for gaming. I've got this setup currently, but want to change my windows install from an HDD to an SSD. Firstly, my setup: First my hardware: Gigabyte Z-87N-WIFI Intel 45670K Asus GTX 760 Corsair 1600 2x4GB Corsair 430w CMX PSU BX100 250GB SSD - OS X install drive WD 1TB HDD - 700GB HFS+ partition, 300GB NTFS Windows install partition M4 Crucial 128GB SSD - Where I want to run Windows in the future. Fractal Node 304 Case OS X Version: 10.10.2 Firstly, in my current setup I have an odd issue - I can see the Windows install from the Clover bootloader screen, but when I select it I get a blinking black cursor. However, by exiting Clover my machine automatically defaults to the Windows partition and so loads normally. This has been fine up until now. The first thing I tried to do is clone the partition directly. Even though it is 300GB compared to the SSD's 128GB, only 70GB is in use. I used EaseUS to do this, and the process seemed to go fine, however I can't get it the drive to boot. The drive shows up in Clover, but neither selecting it or exiting clover gives the desired effect. Exiting gives me a 'Please insert bootable media' message, whereas selecting the drive gives the same flashing cursor as before. So my question is two fold: Firstly, is there anything else I can do to try and clone my existing windows install to the new drive? I have tried to shrink the partition in diskmgmt.msc, but can't get it down to 128GB (despite being only 70GB). Is there any other software which is worth looking at? Secondly, if I install a fresh copy of Windows & thusly, am I going to screw up my clover install at all? Steps: 1. Disconnect all drives apart from 128GB SSD 2. Disable UEFI in bios. 3. Boot Windows 7 via USB and install as normal to SSD. 4. Re-connect all drives, hopefully get everything working. Sorry for the massive post, i'd really value any advice.
  2. hello all. i don't know if this belongs here but i will ask i happen to have installed el capitan on my intel dh55tc motherboard with clover but i have a very slight few issues. first off the install went great but i have an issue getting the hard drive to boot without having to use the clover usb stick i made. second the on board audio isn't showing up in the computer at all and 3rd i have a wake from sleep issue where the computer is stuck in sleep unless i restart or tell the machine to never sleep at all no matter what. if anyone might know what i am to do let me know
  3. Hi, I would like to know whether this configuration could actually work: ASUS P5B DELUXE INTEL Q9505 2.83 Quad Core CPU Gigabyte GTX 460 1GB RME FIREFACE UFX AUDIO CARD is there a slight chance this configuration to work ?
  4. (after being advised to move post here... ) Hi all, hopefully a quick one but something I have been trying to configure for some time. In short, installed OSX 10.6 in VMware without any major issues. I am now at the point of trying to configure graphics but I am a bit lost as to what to expect and what to do. To start with I installed VMsvga2_v1.2.4_OS_10.6-7.pkg drivers and I had no issues after reboot. Enabled 3D accelaration in VMWare, also no issues. Tried various options in vmx and Boot.plist but none gives me expected 3D performance. Is there a clear guide on how to set this aspect up? Also, what is the best way of confirming it is working? In my case FrontRow gives blank screen, QuickTime no error but nothing else (doesn't load) and DVD player starts but shows error about no compatible device being found (which from what I read is expected). Any other ways of confirming 3D acceleration is in place? Many many thanks in advance.
  5. I DID NOT MAKE ANY OF THESE KEXTS AND TAKE NO CREDIT FOR THEM, I HAVE SIMPLY JUST CONSOLIDATED THEM HERE FOR EASE OF OTHER USERS. SOME KEXTS MAY NOT BE NEEDED. SOURCES: http://www.insanelym...ionize&st=0 http://www.insanelym...38;fromsearch=1 http://www.insanelym...howtopic=280388 + Kexts from miscellaneous locations Mountain Lion USB installer Guide: http://www.insanelym...ionize&st=0 INSTRUCTIONS: 1. After installing Mountain Lion, before booting your new OS immediately place the kexts in "First" into your System/Library/Extensions (This will prevent the KP that would happen otherwise). NOTE: you will either need a mac to do this or windows with "macdrive" installed. REBOOT INTO OS After step one, the order is really optional but this is how i did it: 2. Install the Cuda Drivers 3. Install all of the kexts with kext utility 4. Install Chameleon, use your own extra folder. a. If you receive a boot0 error, i have included some files you will need for the fix for people who do not have a mac available. Here is a link to the guide: http://www.macbreake...oot0-error.html REBOOT. You should now have most features working, install cam twist in order to use the camera. (whenever you need to activate it open cam twist and hit the select button when webcam is selected) WORKING: Keyboard: Yes Trackpad: Yes Wifi: Yes Battery: Yes Disk Drive: Yes Audio: Yes Video: Yes LAN: Yes USB 3.0: Yes Camera: Must activate with camtwist NOT WORKING: Card Reader: No Bluetooth: No (Wifi instead) Keyboard Backlight: No Keyboard Functions: No Sleep: No Brightness: No (Forgot about this until now, will add later if found) There may be fixes for Sleep, Brightness and Keyboard but i have not found them yet. Enjoy! 1 First (Before Booting).zip 3 Third (Kexts).zip Boot0 Error.zip
  7. i have ended up getting high sierra installed on my intel DQ670w board. i used a premade high sierra/clover dmg i extracted to a usb flash drive. right now the audio, networking arnt working and the video card i have in the machine an nvidia geforce 1050 gtx ti it works but has very very very choppy/jittery video. i did find some kext files for the network and audio but when i put them in the extensions folder they didnt do anything to add audio or networking. also i have to get the machine to boot from the hard drive rather then having to boot the usb flash drive to get the hard drive to boot and i have to work on the video card stuff as well. i am not to good at this stuff cause usually when i have tried stuff i end up breaking stuff or that stuff doesnt work. i am not all that code or certain tech savy. i am not the brightest. i like things laid out where its all like this is the files and where you get them from this is how u work with them kind of thing. it does agravate me when people just wont lay out stuff as like a dummy book does and makes everything easy. i tried on facebook groups and got as far as to be told what kexts to find but never told where to find them. i did try to look on my own and i did find a few kexts but they where ones that needed alterations to the os to even make them usable. the video kext or driver i was told to install it and do something like change something to true. all i need are the kext files and to make the machine boot from the hard drive rather then complaining it doesnt have an os on the drive or having to use the usb flash drive to make it boot and the video files and to know how to deal with the files and make them work without having to start over with everything and reinstalling stuff

    HP 15-D002SS

    Version 1.22

Hi people, This is a preliminary MacOS driver installer for laptop HP Pavilion 15-D002SS with support for dual boot Bootloader. Maybe it can be installed on other HP Pavillion 15 series laptops, but in some cases additional fixes will have to be made. I want to thank the whole community for their efforts and content provided, because without these it would not be possible to create this installer. I would appreciate comments and suggestions!!
