1. Hi all, I just installed iAtkos ML3 (ML 10.8.3) onto my desktop and got it working fine once it's booted. The problem is booting. Using the USB stick I used to install iAtkos, I can use whatever bootloader came with the iAtkos USB stick to boot, and everything works fine (except sleep mode, but I doubt that's relevant). When I try and boot from the bootloader on the HDD I installed OSX on, however, I get this text when trying to boot... I've tried installing other boot loaders to no avail, exactly the same thing each time Any ideas for a fix? All replies are greatly appreciated! Cheers, Luke
2. So i've been using my hack for over a month now. I thought I had success but alas I haven't. It keeps freezing at random intervals (usually anything from between 1 - 3 hours apart) and then restarting. Is there anyway I can find out what could be the cause of this? Like a log report or something like that? I feel like I've come across something like this while installing OS I just can't remember how it worked. A bit of information: [even though I guess I need a log report if anyone's gonna have a chance of helping me] SPECS: Using Yosemite 10.10.4 Gigabyte X99 UD4P BIOS version F2a i7 5820K MSI GTX 970 Using Clover. Only kext I changed was the HDAaudio kext which I replaced with Toleda's one, but have since put back the original as I bought myself a usb audio device. Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can provide! I desperately need it.
3. Greetings All, I have seen a few random reboots since Yosemite on this particular machine. However, I have seen far too many reboots after El Capitan 10.11.1 update, and even more after 10.11.2. I managed to get it running. It actually runs rather smooth. But I am getting far too many random reboots at any given time after updating. I'm lucky I got past this posting before rebooting on its own. As usual, I updated to the latest Nvidia Webdriver after updating. Contrary to what most people say, my setup along with the eVGA GT 740 FTW requires the webdriver or it won't boot. Sometimes it reboots while browsing online (Any browser). More than likely while watching YouTube videos. It can go from minutes to hours before randomly rebooting, but it depends on the usage. I have tried different SMBIOS to no avail. It seems like booting without caches helps, but not always (that's how I got this far to post). I also added RampageDev's X99 SSDT file for my motherboard (X99-UD4). I recently updated the BIOS to F12. It made no difference. I can't seem to find anyone else with this particular problem, and if there is, they seemed to have left the issue unresolved. If anyone has any info on this issue, please advise. My setup is in my sig below. Thanks in advance. Prof. Synthology
4. Hi everyone. I updated my Snow Leopard yesterday to Lion, using ##### and a USB stick. Everything seemed to be just fine. Lion was running, I was reinstalling some of my apps, but then it just crashed. It just seems so random. Sometimes it happens after a couple of minutes, sometimes after a couple of hours. Here are my specs: i7 960 3.2ghz Gigabyte X58A-UDR3 12GB RAM (6x2) Club3D Radeon 6870 2x 1TB HD sata Might also be worth mentioning: I'm dualbooting win7 on the same harddisk. Any suggestions?
5. Hello, I have a splendid working machine with annoying hiccups... meaning, everything its working, and it is quite fast. Mostly I use it for video editing in Final Cut Pro X and After Effects. I carefully selected the mix in order to be optimized for FinalCut and Video editing and processing. I had a small hindsight about the XFX possible difficulties... but after sometime of trying different options, It is working (flashing bios method). I upgraded to EL CAPITAN about 2 months from now, and got wifi card enabled and working (before I was using ethernet cable mostly)... Everything goes well and smooth, and at times it hangs, and sometimes shut down, and stays in a reestarting loop (2 or 3 times loop max) and stays fine for some other time until it hangs again or freezes... and again same thing... I NEED HELP !!! I require a reliable, robust, and stable machine!... can any of you experts give me a hand on this! Thank you in advance...
