    Power On Usb dopo shutdown

Ho installato Mojave e funziona tutto bene (almeno sembra), l'unico problema è che quando faccio lo shutdown restano alimentate le porte usb. Si può risolvere?

    Help with sleep/wake (UX305UA)

Hello all, I'm having some trouble trying to get sleep working on my laptop. The symptoms are as if there is no power management; upon attempting to sleep, the display will turn off but the laptop otherwise remains on. I have everything else working, including power management/speed stepping so I suspect its just DSDT issues from here (or I'm just forgetting something really key...). Ioreg (2.1) and DSDT are zipped and attached. Thanks! Archive.zip
  4. Hi, I created a hackintosh with my PC (z87-hd3, 4670k) I used to have intel hd 4600 and it worked fine well, it did take some time to get the 4600 to work. Now I have a MSI GTX 760 in my computer and I have fired up mavericks (I still have 10.9) and everything is working fine and I have full resolution QE/CI and all. I use HWMonitor to make sure that the power management is working okay for the cpu and gpu. The CPU is in the 30-40 degrees range whilst I am browsing and the GPU die is at 48 degrees. I think the CPU is scaling down properly. The GPU is currently constantly at 48 degrees and at 1.00 GHZ CORE and 1.47GHZ memory. Is everything working right? On windows I have msi afterburner and can change lots of things but I let it natively choose the fan speed. I haven't been monitoring the temperature recently on windows but it used to be in the 30s at idle then go up to 40-50-60 highest 67 when under load. Is everything working okay? Also is there any other checks I need to do, to my hackintosh to make sure nothing is slowly killing any of my hardware as I might start to use it much more than I used to for video editing etc. My GPU shows as 3.39 GHZ and I would like to change that to 3.4Ghz. My ethernet, audio and USB are working. Thanks!
  5. Hi all, I'm having a serious issue that I believe is attributed to my Hackintosh. I run a small music studio, using the Hackintosh as the primary computer. To convert audio signals into digital form, we use a very expensive (around $3000) analog to digital conversion unit that is connected through USB. About two weeks ago, the unit started experiencing random dropouts and noise while connected to the Hackintosh. As a test, I connected the unit to a real mac, and the operation seemed to be rock solid. About a week later (after operating with the Hackintosh),the A/D converter started outputting an awful high pitched noise upon powerup, even with the computer powered down. It was toast. I sent it in for repair and got a new one, thinking that the unit was flawed. Well, guess what, my new unit is starting to experience the same symptoms. I'm wondering if it's possible for the Hackintosh to be under or overpowering the unit through USB because of a kext mismatch. I've already resolved to drop the extra $ and buy a real mac, but I'm not sure if I should even keep running the studio at all on the Hackintosh. As a side note: Before this current A/D, I used a firewire device (with a different motherboard + cpu [Asus P5e]). The firewire device also crashed and burned and I went through two replacements before I bought a PCI Firewire card, which has been rock solid. So. Do I just have really bad luck with A/D converters, or is my motherboard outputting dangerous voltages? My specs: Asus P6X58D w/ i7 2.66ghz, 4gb Ram running Mac OS 10.8.5 (seemingly smooth). Geforce 650 1gb.
  6. Greetings everyone, I was wondering how can fix Sleep errors that occur on my new build. This is what I get from the log. denniss-imac:~ dk$ pmset -g log | grep -i failure 2016-04-15 01:56:56 +0300 Failure Drivers Failure panic during wake due to XHC(XHC),SAT0(AppleIntelPchSeriesAHCI),RP16(),GLAN(IntelMausi): Specs are: ASRock H170M/ac Mini-ITX Core i3 6100 Skylake Atheros AR5B195 Wifi+BT 16GB RAM 2133MHz
  7. Hi all, My hackintosh is working as it should be. Only for PM there is still something wrong: 21-06-13 01:19:37,000 kernel[0]: ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::registerLPCDriver - WARNING - LPC device initialization failed: C-state power management not initialized 21-06-13 01:42:46,000 kernel[0]: ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::registerLPCDriver - WARNING - LPC device initialization failed: C-state power management not initialized 21-06-13 12:46:33,000 kernel[0]: ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::registerLPCDriver - WARNING - LPC device initialization failed: C-state power management not initialized I don't get any other message from ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin than this. It seems that it can not register(?) somewhere? Maybe a double address? I really have no idea anymore. I'm also not that good at DSDT patching, but I tried and tried.. CPU (i5-2400) speedstepping seems to be working fine: 21-06-13 01:18:48,000 kernel[0]: MSRDumper CoreMulti(16) 21-06-13 01:18:48,000 kernel[0]: MSRDumper PStatesReached: 16 19 23 27 31 32 I tried almost everything: - DSDT edits > changed LPCB device id - Kexts edits (IOPlat) - Clover config.plist edits - Using custom SSDT tables (extracted from Ubuntu) - Reinstalling OS X - Step-by-step - Searching with Google - Again DSDT-edits - Again searching on Google... Aaargghhh.. Can someone please help me? I'm happy to provide any info that is needed. Thanks! DSDT.zip SSDT.zip
  8. I want to put this USB 3 card in my Mac Pro. Orico PFU3-4P. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1DS0NZ0600&nm_mc=BAC-Criteo&cm_mmc=BAC-Criteo-_-Add-On+Cards-_-Orico-_-9SIA1DS0NZ0600 It requires a 4 pin molex power supply. All my hard drive and optical bays are full, so I want to split power off the GPU 6-pin plug. But all the adapters I'm finding online have Molex MALE. Where can I find one that goes to Molex female to plug into this card?

    Sleep doesn't work!

Hello there! I've been trying to make my hackintosh perfect fixing every problem that I could find, but i've got stuck in a sleep problem. After going to sleep (the power led turns orange and everything shuts down, like fans and display), the orange power led blinks one time and turns blue (on), and everything turns on again, but the system restarts. Can someone help me? My specs are: -Laptop (Acer E5-571-54MC) -I5 4210u -HD Graphics 4440 -AR9565 (Wireless card) -Running OSX 10.12 (10.12.4 breaks wifi) Everything except bluetooth, that I don't use much and sleep is working with these configurations: *Clover files.zip; *System drivers.zip; -Removed IO80211Family.kext and IO80211FamilyV2.kext from /System/Library/Extensions/; -Latest VoodooHDA is installed; -Clover installed in the System disk. What i've already tried? - -Removing NullCPUPowerManagement.kext from CLOVER/others; -Changing darkwake settings in Clover; -Allowing hibernation in Clover (It works! If It goes to sleep, it still blinks orange one time and restarts, but allows me to start from where I was before!); Note: If I close the lap's screen or make it sleep forcefully on the apple menu, it stills like nothing happened for about 30~50 seconds, just shutdown screen. If in this moment I press a key or click, the screen instantly turns on again. It seems to happens the same in autosleep. Thank you very much in advance for any help!

    Power management i7-4790K

Ciao a tutti ragazzi! Grazie mille a tutti!
  12. CPU | Intel core i7 6700 3.4Ghz Mobo | Gigabyte H170-D3hp Ram | Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) 2133Mhz GPU | Galax GTX970 4GB SSD | Samsung 850 Evo 500GB PSU | Thermaltake 600w OS | 10.11.6 I initially thought this issue was a blown port and while it still could be hardware I've noticed something very odd. Two days ago I was using a USB 3.0 portable drive doing some colour grading in Da Vinci resolve. Quite suddenly, the mouse stopped working and then a couple of seconds later the system reset itself. I have no idea what happened but when the system rebooted a message popped up and for a tense few seconds I was worried the drive was ruined. The message said something like 'drive connected to mac but does not have power' or something along those lines but specifically indicating that I should plug the device in to a port that has power. This was the same port the drive was plugged in to when the reset happened and so I unplugged it and moved it to the port above and it worked. I was curious about the issue today and didn't have any critical work to do so I had a test with another bus powered drive that also previously worked fine. This one also had not encountered any dodginess like the sudden system reset either. I plugged it in to the port that I knew had caused issue and received the same message. I plugged it in to the port immediately adjacent and also received the same message. The thing is the drive is spinning so it *is* receiving power and the fact that it's giving me that message suggested to me that is registering on at least some level with OSx. Anyone know what I should do?
  13. Can anyone confirm what support is like in Sierra for X99 Is power management/speed step working well? Is there a definitive method for getting speed step working? Presently I'm running a stable rig on El Capitan and wondering if it is worth upgrading. Many thanks
  14. Hello guys, I just got a Power Mac G5 complete desktop and I would love to tear it down and install all new hardware and make the best hackintosh I could possibly create. I removed all the components and decided to keep the drive bay, bluetooth and wifi wires (maybe I'll toss them) and screws (why not!?) The only thing this case is missing is the side panel, its gone and was gone from when I found it, as well as the G5 heat sink cover (damnit!) Does anyone know where I could get a replacement cover or would I have to design and fabricate a cover from scratch? Any help is appreciated of course and I had no idea where to post this question considering all the main forums didn't quiet fit so I apologize in advanced.
  15. Hello everyone, I'm on Latitude E6230, most of the things are good. But when I shutdown the machine while plugged in, It automatically reboots even with Wake On AC(BIOS) disabled Here is the DSDT:DSDT.aml.zip
  16. Hello everyone, i plan to buy myself a new power supply. Since i have a Haswell (i5-4570) CPU, I was wondering if the low power states would work on my hackintosh. Otherwise, this investment would be rather senseless I guess. Currently, I use the Intel Power Gadget in order to analyze the power consumption of my CPU. In Idle, it consummate around 44 W. In full load, it consummate around 59 W. if C6 and C7 are working, it should by much more less than 44W. Anyway, it would be nice if someone could confirm that C6 and C7 is working. If anyone has any experience, it would be also nice to know how high the power consumption of these states are using a hackintosh. Thank you guys, Timo
  17. Does anyone have a solution for this problem? Pjalm "USB Power" patch doesn't solve it. The PC has series 7 ehc and xhc controllers, ports are injected with a custom injector, dsdt is patched and ports are muxed. USB is working but this problem persists.
  18. Good afternoon all! Almost running 10.8.2 smooth in my system, just one thing that is not working well, the AGPM. I'm using the MacPro5,1 system definition and a self-edited AGPM.kext. In the console, when I search for AGPM, I get the message [AGPM Controller] build GPUDict by Vendor10deDevice1200, but, don't get any state changes. My card is running full load all the time (850mhz) and with a temperature of 55~60ºC. My MacPro5,1 key is edited as follows: <key>MacPro5,1</key> <dict> <key>LogControl</key> <integer>0</integer> <key>Vendor10deDevice1200</key> <dict> <key>BoostPState</key> <array> <integer>0</integer> <integer>1</integer> <integer>2</integer> <integer>3</integer> </array> <key>BoostTime</key> <array> <integer>3</integer> <integer>3</integer> <integer>3</integer> <integer>3</integer> </array> <key>Heuristic</key> <dict> <key>ID</key> <integer>0</integer> <key>IdleInterval</key> <integer>100</integer> <key>SensorOption</key> <integer>1</integer> <key>TargetCount</key> <integer>5</integer> <key>Threshold_High</key> <array> <integer>55</integer> <integer>40</integer> <integer>60</integer> <integer>100</integer> </array> <key>Threshold_Low</key> <array> <integer>0</integer> <integer>75</integer> <integer>90</integer> <integer>98</integer> </array> </dict> <key>control-id</key> <integer>17</integer> </dict> </dict> Is there anything wrong? Could be something related with the graphics driver? Thanks in advance!
  19. Hello, I have installed Yosemite Beta 5 on a new system I'm working on: -GA-H87M-HD3 -i5-4430 -8GB HyperX FURY RAM -iMac 14,2 smbios I am using the Chameleon Bootloader with Generate P and C states disabled and the DropSSDT=yes However, the SSDT I have generated does't seem to be working, as I only get P-States 8 and 30. Is there something else I need to do in order to get more P-states? In Mavericks, I was getting a few more P-states with a generated SSDT (around 4-6). Thank you for your help.
  20. Hello all, Having some minor issues with sleep on a ThinkPad X230. This is also an issue with the X220 as far as I'm aware. The sleep LED stays on after wake. When waking via the lid, there is a delay of several seconds before the screen powers on / the system becomes responsive. This does not happen when sleeping via the system menu and waking via the power button. Bluetooth (in my case connected to the USB bus) is sometimes not functional when waking via the lid and another USB device is connected. It'd be great if anyone could take a look DSDT_files.zip
  21. I got hold of an old 2009 Unibody 13-inch Pro, the 2.26 model. It's in great shape but doesn't power on properly. My guess is that it's the logic board, but being as expensive of a part as that is (and me being a broke-a** college student), I wanted to confirm the root of my issue before I plunge and make sure there isn't a more... economic fix. Here's the exact symptoms... - Unit responds when pressing power button as normal. Power light comes on solid and fans whirr into action, but it never goes further than that. No image or power to the display whatsoever. - hangs for a few seconds then abruptly powers back off again, making the hard drive clunk painfully. - Unit then powers BACK ON again and repeats the first part, but hangs indefinitely and does not power off again. Fan gradually begins to spin faster and faster. - during this whole time, the hard drive makes no read/write sounds whatsoever. It does spin up though. - I inserted a CD into the drive and it took, and now every time I power on it sounds like it's being read. Probably just the drive's firmware instincts though. - Unit does not respond to any keyboard commands such as target disk mode, etc, however I CAN reset both the PRAM and the SMC. Here's a link to a video of the cycle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZENwMamfsng Any insight is much appreciated. Cheers. EDIT: forgot to mention things I've tried... - unassembled entire unit and dusted/cleaned the {censored} out of it, incl. under heat sink - reseated RAM & all cable connections - other sticks of RAM - different HDD - ext. display
  22. I'm looking at installing a PCIe RAID controller to give myself h/w RAID in my Mac Pro. I cannot use the existing sata bay wiring as the SFF-8087 connector wont reach the PCIe card. Not a problem as I can use a separate SFF-8087 to SATA breakout cable. The issue lies with the power. The OEM wiring has the power and data into a single connector, I have not been able to identify or find a cable that would work as a standalone. It looks like a standard ATX P4 power plug on the motherboard that breaks out into 4x sata power. Any suggestions? thanks!
  23. Hi guys, this is my first desktop Hackintosh Specs are as follows: Gigabyte EP45-UD3LR Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 NVIDIA Geforce 210 1024 MB VRAM When using NullCPU power management you can see the temps are really great. The performance is definitely better without that kext, but when I am using no NullCPU and use the Generate P and C states options in Clover, along with Drop OEM SSDT, temps go up to 60ºC all the time, whether it is heavy load or idling. I know the ssdtPRGen.sh doesnt work with this kind of CPU , which is not even properly recognized in mac.... What should I do to get some native CPU power management up on this baby? Thanks in advance. Here is my Clover folder CLOVER.zip
