Every year we hope great news about macOS, and Apple has really working on it. In Piker's Universum, we can see that's is true. Not a fake new, as we had in the passed years. Look this URL: And this is the Pike's explanation: "What you see here is a (large part) of the CatalogURL for developer seeds. A secure (HTTPS) link (note the green “Apple Inc.”) so this is not some fake link." And you, what do you expect to see in this next mac OS version? Share with us! Hello insanelymac, I want to mod my Apple PowerMac G5 case, I know it’s not special anymore but I like it. I bought it on eBay it’s completely and in good condition. It’s possible to use all the fans and mod it without cut the backside ? The G5 most look like a normal G5 but only with new hardware. Hardware which I want to buy: -Gigabyte GA-B75M-D2V Intel B75 So.1155 or Asus B85M-E Intel B85 so. 1150 -Intel Xeon E3-1240v2 4x 3.40GHz So.1155 or Intel Core i7 4770 4x 3.40GHz So.1150 -2048MB Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 OC Activ or 2048MB Palit GeForce GTX 760 JetStream For the backside I would cut the old mainboard and mod it. For the front I would buy a cable from BlackCH. I get a soldering station, so I only need tutorials and hints from you. Can I build the front panel I/0 itself ?

Hello, this is my first post, first of all congratulations for this awesome community.
launchyoyo posted a topic in Hardware Components and Drivers
I already own an iMac, but I recently got an used Powermac G5 (The previous to the Mac Pro). And I thought… Why not install a Hackintosh inside? So here I am, wanting your advice for which components to use, I've seen way a lot, of projects whit this case, so I know what I want. I don't need a powerful computer as it will be plugged to a TV as a media center (VGA-HDMI needed), also running as a server and many other things which don't need a lot of power. About the motherboard, better if it is not very big as I want to maintain the rear part containing all the connectors (linked to the Mobo with cables) maintaining the original looking. Also it has to be a cheap computer as I don't plan a lot of use, but it is a fun project to accomplish and the case is awesome So please tell me which components should I put into this awesome computer -
Hey y'all - I'm an intermediate mac & windows user who's new to hackintosh and new to building PCs. I was wondering if there was something like a step by step guide for the procedure of installing & running hackintosh/windows on a new machine. What is DSDT, exactly? And do I definitely need it with my particular hardware? Either way, I'm sure there are a bunch of ways to put it all together, but it seems like osx86 has a bevy of problems that can be sidestepped by doing things a certain way, etc. I'm using a z77-Quo-AOS motherboard with an intel i5 processor, and I'll be booting mac & windows on a partitioned ssd. thank you for your help (and i apologize if I'm asking for something that already exists)

Hey guys, So currently I've got a sapphire radeon 6950 hd series (2g version). How well does this work with hackintosh? I know a year ago when I tried this it wouldn't work correctly...? Also, Im going to be ordering some new parts (my motherboard was sent in for rma after a faulty bios update, and I need more hd space) I was thinking the gigabyte ud3h or ud5h? Give me your opinions on compatibility (I want the least amount of work possible) Also, I need a either a good water cooler or heatsink to replace my Hyper 212 evo (fan died). Lastly, Any opinions on a 1tb hard drive? Build: I7 2700k sandy bridge 32 gb geil black series ram MSI z77a-g45 Radeon 6950

HI, I'm new here and wasn't sure where to ask this but I am trying to install OS X Mavericks on my Laptop (Inspiron 17r SE 7720). I get to the screen prior to formatting the HDD with the images of what appear to be peripherals flashing on the screen, but i cannot continue or do anything because the resolution appears to be off. The apple logo screen was fine, but after that the screen appears stretched as if only half of the screen is visable. The pixels are clearly visible and the cursor moves far off the screen to the right. After a while it goes to sleep, and when i wake it up the grey areas of the screen turn either red or blue. Any help would be appreciated. EDIT: Problem has been solved using DSDT=Null and config=null as well as -x. After which everything went beautifully.
