1. Good morning, everyone, I'm sorry if I was wrong in choosing the topic but I need help. I have found it extremely difficult to mount a Hackintosh in my acer. Setup; I5 2430m 2.4 6GB RAM Mobo P5we0 - Intel intel Graphics 3000 At the moment I have not found out what my audio codecs are. but I'll leave the link on the motherboard. however, my real problem is several. I have already used the itakos image, I have already used several images that could be installed normally and that after installing the image I do not have internet via cable or wireless. And another, I already looked in other forums and I know that I will be called a donkey in the logical question but I have not been able to install the ##### or clover to start from the Hard Disk, so I do not know what to do.At the moment I still do not know if there has already been someone who has already installed the High Sierra or just the Sierra in this notebook model and obtained permanent success. If anyone can help me, I'll be grateful. Installations without success, but with the system already installed in ACER; SIERRA HIGH SIERRA MOJAVE All with the same symptom. Starting only by the bootable USB stick and without internet connection via cable and wireless. Appreciate ! Acer 5750 Official Page
2. I have installed a few types of Mac OS X on this laptop (10.6.3, 10.6.8 & 10.7) and i can never get a single bootloader to install. I have tried the following: ##### Chimera Installer PC-EFI Installer MyHack Installer Chameleon Installer I have tried to manually write the boo0 and boot1 files using DD, i have tried install the bootloaders onto the small 200mb formatted EFI partition and nothing happens whenever i try boot from i HDD i get the following type boot errors and messages. Could there be a feature on this laptop, A Western Digital, shipped with the laptop that would prohibit the installation of a osx86 bootloader. I have successfully installed windows, various linux's and BSD's on the laptop and never had problems, Its just that no bootloader will install. ---EDIT------EDIT------EDIT------EDIT------EDIT------EDIT------EDIT--- Found out that it is due to the fact that this drive has a feature called advanced format which autocatically uses 4kb allocation which means that Chameleon cannot install using the usual technique. I managed to install the bootloader but you will need to follow the following steps. You will need a Ubuntu Live CD. Boot into the ubuntu session and copy the following two files from the Chameleon package = "boot0" and "boot1h" issue the following command dd if=boot0 of=/dev/sda bs=440 count=1 and also dd if=boot1h of=/dev/sdaX bs=4096 - sdaX is whatever partition you OSX is held (i.e sda2) Now exit ubuntu and boot your mac using an ##### CD, You need to use the CD and you may not be able to boot from the HDD just yet. When you are in the mac, run a bootloader insaller package (Chimera, PC-EFI, yada yada yada) Customize your /Extra folder for you particular hardware. These are the exact steps i took to install a bootloader with this "Advanced Format" feature, I hope it can be of help to other who have had this problem.
3. Hi, So I've installed lion on my laptop using #####. However after running ##### my system would hang. I eventually figured out the problem was the patched appleRTC. So I just ran ##### installing everything that ##### does except the appleRTC patch. I could only boot my install using my ##### flash drive tho. After copying over smbios.plist and org.chameleon.Boot.plist from ##### to my extra folder on my install I could finally boot without ##### flash drive but my laptop mouse and keyboard would no longer work. After a lot of debugging I found that removing ApplePS2Controller.kext from my HD install and booting from my ##### flash drive makes my mouse and keyboard work. I then removed all the other kexts from my ##### extra/extensions folder to make sure it was just ApplePS2Controller.kext So basically: mouse and keyboard only work when using #####(even with just ApplePS2Controller.kext in the extra/extensions folder of the flash drive) to boot my HD install. If I boot directly from the HD or boot from my flash drive with ApplePS2Controller.kext still installed on my HD (either in extra/e or s/l/e) keyboard and mouse will not work. My boot flags are -v cpus=1 busratio=20 and i have also tried with -f and arch=i386. what might be causing this? im just at a loss now for how to debug further. thanks in advanc!
4. Hi I tried my best with DSDT and followed all tutorials for this MoBo i could find, but they allways point to the Voodoo kext. Unfortunately this sollution is simply not good enough for me. I have very strong noise in my spekers with all the voodoo kexts and it is vital to me that the sound is clean. Soo if You have a sollution better then I then I would be glad to hear it [sic!] So far i installed retail 10.7 with the live DVD (regae) then did the combo 10.7.2. With my DSDT.aml copied to the desktop I used ##### 4.2.1 and checked: + user DSDT Install + System Utilities - Drivers - Kexts - Audio - Realtek ALC8xx + ALC8xxHDA + AppleHDARollback - Disk + 3rdPartySATA + Jmicron36x ATA - Network + Realtek Gigabit... I see in SystemUtil that the HDA kext is working (I see input and output choices) but i can't hear a thing. The system is stable so far (no booting in verbose mode to avoid kernel panic as before) but still no clean sound, well no sound at all... Any help will be nice!!! There is a DSDT for MSI X58 pro-e in attachment (extracted in linux and patched with DSDTeditor and debugged in DSDT SE
5. I have installed Mac OS X 10.6.3 onto my HDD and then successfully updated to 10.6.8 and have used to ##### option on the ##### package. I have installed all my needed kexts and my OSX86 system is stable and works. There is just one problem that i cannot seem to solve, Booting from the Hard Drive. I always need a CD to boot. Now i have a lenovo G770 laptop and have found this very useful guide http://www.dognmonke...dge-laptop.html - It doesnt seem to explain boot from a HDD. I just cannot seem to install the bootloader at all. I literally cannot workout how to go about this. I tried all of the usual ways and still cannot get a bootloader installed onto my HDD. i have run #####, the chimera installer, the chameleon 2.0 RC4 installer package and nothing will work. To make sure that each method does not clash with any of the other methods i first made a backup image of my OSX86 system and then everytime i try to install a bootloader and it doesnt work, i erase the HDD and then restore the image as to ensure there are no file conflicts or problems. Here is the type of error i recieve when trying the various methods: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/3/img0054lr.jpg/ Would anyone here know a way for my to boot from CD? Thanks for any input on the issue.
