Hi everyone... Short question: I got my MacPro1,1 running OS X Mavericks using Chameleon Bootloader. But I also have a (Boot Camp) HD that runs Win7 64Bit which also needed some time to make it work because Apple doesn't want a MacPro1,1 running Win7 64Bit. Any idea how I can simply add this HD to the Bootloader's menu? Or do I have to completely build this HD from scratch? Thanks in advance for some good ideas or hints. Cheers Ralf
Hello! Having read this and this, I've decided to downgrade Quarz.framework and QuartzCore.framework to their 10.6.2's versions. So I copied over the both files from a 10.6.2 virtual machine I had lying around to my 10.6.6 installation and... Success! Now I've got transparent menu bar AND a regular black Apple logo. What works: No logo color corruption on the menu bar App Store icons look fine now Someone said there were performance issues with 10.6.2. I don't see any difference in the performance using this method. What doesn't: Photoshop with OpenGL mode higher than basic results to green color all over the picture, so it looks like OpenGL corruption is still present Hope this would be helpful I can upload both folders if you need them.
berre posted a topic in Multi-booting and VirtualisationClover installed on a USB Drive for dual boot proposes (10.9.1 & Win7 SP1) always boots into the maintenance menu after I started Win7 (no problem so far with 10.9). The screens looks like this: http://www.rodsbooks.com/bios2uefi/figure06.png I can't continue the boot process at this screen. I have to restart (restart buttom or ctrl + alt + del) and then (on the second boot attempt) I can reach the usual clover boot selection. This happens every time I start into Win7; as I said: Booting/restarting OSX does not show this issue. So maybe it is a EFI problem in Windows? My system is: Gigabyte GA-Z87N-WIFI, i5 Haswell, Geforce GTX 760 HDD1: OSX 10.9 installed on a GUID HDD and patched (for audio, WIFI, ...) HDD2: Win7 64Bit, installed with normal DVD on a MBR/NTFS HDD BIOS is set to start the USB drive with clover and there I can choose which system to boot.
