  1. I have been having problems playing HD content from Netflix or iTunes as both fail HDCP compatibility. I don't have anything plugged into my system and I'm using the built-in LCD. All contents work in Windows and on Chrome on OS X: Safari: 11/9/14 5:26:22.858 PM com.apple.WebKit.WebContent[552]: AVF error: Perf capability check failed: 0xe00002bc 11/9/14 5:26:25.491 PM com.apple.WebKit.WebContent[552]: AVF error: Perf capability check failed: 0xe00002bc 11/9/14 5:26:25.504 PM com.apple.WebKit.WebContent[552]: AVF error: Perf capability check failed: 0xe00002bc 11/9/14 5:26:25.518 PM com.apple.WebKit.WebContent[552]: AVF error: Perf capability check failed: 0xe00002bc 11/9/14 5:26:25.618 PM com.apple.WebKit.WebContent[552]: GVA error: flow_KE1 getParam 5 iTunes: 11/9/14 5:20:36.598 PM iTunes[356]: GVA Error: allocating the TT buffer pool 11/9/14 5:20:36.598 PM iTunes[356]: GVA error: BranchQT0, allocateTTPool() err = 10 11/9/14 5:20:36.602 PM iTunes[356]: AVF error: Perf capability check failed: 0xe00002bc 11/9/14 5:20:36.602 PM iTunes[356]: GVA error: Branch_QT0::pushBits, Context Creation Failed. 11/9/14 5:20:36.934 PM iTunes[356]: GVA error: pushMetaData, getNumOfFreeDecodeBuffers timeout 11/9/14 5:20:36.935 PM iTunes[356]: GVA error: AVFQTX_CreateInstance, AVF_PushMetaData 11/9/14 5:20:37.092 PM iTunes[356]: GVA Error: allocating the TT buffer pool 11/9/14 5:20:37.092 PM iTunes[356]: GVA error: BranchQT0, allocateTTPool() err = 10 11/9/14 5:20:37.094 PM iTunes[356]: AVF error: Perf capability check failed: 0xe00002bc 11/9/14 5:20:37.094 PM iTunes[356]: GVA error: Branch_QT0::pushBits, Context Creation Failed. 11/9/14 5:20:37.425 PM iTunes[356]: GVA error: pushMetaData, getNumOfFreeDecodeBuffers timeout 11/9/14 5:20:37.425 PM iTunes[356]: GVA error: AVFQTX_CreateInstance, AVF_PushMetaData Any help would be appreciated.
  2. Hi. i5 4460 Z97-A (smbios : imac 5k) HD 7770 (fb : chutoro, dashimaki) I installed yosemite but one issue.. When I play youtube and vimeo (both html5), safari crashes and reloads website. With adobe flash (hardware acceleration : off), it works fine. Then I pulled out discrete vga and tested with internal hd 4600, also it works without crash. I guess it's related with discrete vga. So solutions what i know are... 1. change smbios to macpro (but I want iMac smbios) 2. disable html5 in youtube and play with adobe flash (with safari extension.. it will crash in vimeo and other html5 video sites..) 3. use internal vga (no way..) How can I play html5 youtube in iMac smbios with discrete vga?

    Fooling Netflix

Netflix seems to only allow 6000 kbps 1080P streams on Safari with Yosemite. From: https://help.netflix.com/article/en/node/23742?ba=GSButtonClick&q= Supported Browsers: Internet Explorer 11 or later on Windows 8.1 or later Safari on Mac OSX 10.10 or later (Yosemite)Supported on all 2012 or later models and select 2011 models Google Chrome version 37 or later on Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later and Mac OSX 10.6 or later (Snow Leopard) Resolution: Stream in HD if your Internet connection supports 5 megabits per second or more. Google Chrome up to 720p Internet Explorer up to 1080p Safari up to 1080p on Mac OSX 10.10.3 or later I had an old 17 inch macbook pro whose serial, UUID, MLB etc I'm using to maintain icloud and imessage access for my haswell 4670K, GTX 770 build. I'm still able to change my system definition to iMac 14,2 which makes sense for my 4670K. About this mac shows MacBook Pro (17-inch 2.4GHZ), Processor 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5 and system report does have the model name as iMac 14,2. When I run netflix on Safari I get prompted to install silverlight. I'm assuming it's because my system is still flagged as a macbook pro. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this?
  4. Interesting problem here: Playing videos, whether that be via Flash or HTML5 video, causes my machine to lock up and then reboot. This only happens in Safari - trying the same videos in Firefox works fine. Windows works fine regardless, so this isn't a hardware issue. Before this started, the videos were visually a garbled mess for a few minutes, or for a few browser refreshes, before starting to work fine for the rest of the booted session. (This only happened in 10.9, 10.10 worked fine.) So far, I've tried: Updating to 10.9.4 Rebooting into 10.10 DP2 and trying there (the crash still occurs) Trying to boot from Chameleon instead of Clover Trying without the patched AppleHDA Rebooting, rebooting, rebooting... My system is: Core i5 4770K Gigabyte Z87X-OC nVidia GeForce GTX 770 / nVidia GeForce GTX 560 (used for PhysX in Windows) Mac OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 (10.9.3 did this too, as did 10.10 DP2) Clover bootloader (v2721) Kexts: FakeSMC (with plugins) Patched ALC889 AppleHDA
