I am all tired and frustrated trying to install mountain lion 10.8.3 (mac app store app) on this build CPU - corei3 530 @2.99ghz MOBO-intel DH55TC GFX-Sapphire HD7770 ghz edition 8 GB ram @1333mhz 2.75tb HDD space spanning 4 hdds. Ive had no luck trying different build/install guides that i googled and also the tools available at "other" forums. The problem is that the installation just wont start..keeps still at "DSMOS has arrived" ive tried various boot flags on chameleon but to no avail. What the hell am i missing? HELP!! is a hackintosh at all possible with the above specs?? thanks is advance. P.S - I do have a working hackintosh laptop made out of a Dell Inspiron1525 thats running 10.6.8 pretty smoothly(used nozyczek's amazing guide) P.P.S - i am still a bit of an noob with all the dsdt's and kext stuff...!!
poispois posted a topic in OSx86 10.9 (Mavericks)Hi, After many attempts after trying to solve this on my own i'm asking for your expertise I've successfully completed the installation of Mavericks but on booting I can't get past this error message: "Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport!" after this it halts. I'm able to boot with -x but I can't any other way. My system specs are: Asrock Z77 Pro4 Pentium G2030 ATI Radeon HD 7770 1Gb And i'm also using Clover bootloader. Can anyone help me?
Hello, @all. Now I have HackOSX 10.8.4 on my PC. AMD FX-8150 / ASRock 880GMH/U3S3 / 12GB RAM / 2TB SATA3 SSHD / ATI Radeon HD7770 / MacOS 10.8.4 / Clover UEFI r2939 And today I think - "it's time to upgrade!" So now, I was: 1. Downloaded original Install DMG of 10.9.4 (13E28) 2. Downloaded latest kernel (by deekay) 3. Built USB stick with BaseSystem.dmg, copied "Packages", replaced mach_kernel and kexts from archive. 4. Placed FakeSMC and NullCPUPowerManagement into /S/L/E/ 5. Rebooted, selected USB in Clover, and... nothing. After boot log, my current 10.8.4 starts showing GUI, but 10.9.4 freezes and does nothing (not lags - I was wait for 10+ minutes) So, what I tried after (and it's not helps): 1. Replaced SMBios data in clover to newer MacPro5.1 (it was MacPro3.1) 2. Boot flags (arch=x86_64, GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No, -x, and in combinations) My clover is r2939 (boots directly from UEFI), and config you may see on Pastebin. Any ideas? UPD: video of bootup process
