Wifi and Bluetooth (DW1560 / BCM94352Z) Unfortunately, some notebook manufacturers are currently blocking the replacement of wireless cards. They want you to only use the models sold by them. And of course, none of them from Lenovo for this notebook model is compatible with MacOS. If you try to start with an unauthorized wifi card for them, you will receive a screen error: 1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the network card. Since this check is done directly in the BIOS, the only solution is to modify it. But since nothing is easy in this life, there is one small big problem: - The BIOS update procedure does not allow you to use modded files as it used to be. - You will need to physically reach your BIOS on the motherboard and make use of a USB BIOS reader/writer. So what you need to do: 1. Disassembly your laptop; 2. Dump your BIOS with an USB BIOS reader with SOIC8 clip (to not desolder from the motherboard); 3. Patch it (In addition to removing the whitelist, add the advanced menu); 4. Fix RSA signature; 5. Reflash BIOS; 6. Replace wireless card; 7. Remount your laptop; 8. Done. Soon, I'll provide step by step in this process. Probably until end of this week. In the meantime, if you need to, send me your dump that I do steps 3 and 4 for you. I also add the Advanced Menu so you can increase to 128MB the DRAM-prealloc. To fix a Modded BIOS to remove the 5 beeps on boot, you need this guide: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/337333-guide-fix-insyde-h2o-bios-signature-5-beeps-on-lenovo (traduzido: pt-BR) After replaced the wireless card. I used the version 1.1.2. Now you can start the instalation without problem (I guess). Format destination diskFormat the disk with GUID partition mapping and name it "Macintosh".- Select Disk Utility in the list, then press Continue.- Click in View, then "Show All Devices".- Select the destination Disk, then Erase.- Name: HD, Format: APFS and Scheme: GUID Partition MapClose Disk Utility.Select "Install macOS", then Continue.Follow instructions in screen.After installAfter first part install the system will reboot. Maybe you have to press F12 again and select the flash drive.The second part of the installation will begin. This will take 16 minutes. Post installationInstall bootloader When the second part of install finish, the system will reboot again.After performing the user initial setup and go to the desktop, you need to install Clover on internal disk.Open the Clover installer inside flash drive that you copied before.Use same options above but choose the system partition this time.Now you need to replace the config.plist inside your destination disk EFI parittion with config.plist inside flash card EFI partition.The flash drive EFI partition is unmounted. Mount with terminal "sudo diskutil mount /dev/rdiskXs1". To know what X is, use "diskutil list", most likely is 1. Last step Copy all Kexts from flash drive to /Library/Extensions, with those commands in Terminal: sudo cp -R /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/* /Library/Extensions/ sudo chmod -R 755 /Library/Extensions sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/Extensions sudo kextcache -i / Restart the system. No picture HD4600

    Hey, I have a Gigabyte Z97M-D3H rev 1.0 with F8 bios, 4690K CPU and nv 980 running 10.13.6. Been trying to get the HD4600 to run for the past few months. Getting kextd stall or busy timeout for the iGPU and no ability to get to desktop. It will display verbose boot up to 4 iGPU time outs then stops at giolockstate3 but it never gets to the OS. I'm sure I got into the OS with it before on 10.12. The OS does come up on the 980 eventually while the HD4600 display stuck with the verbose boot ending until i shut down I have tried multiple platform-ids (0x0A160000, 0x0A260000 ,0x0D220003 ,0x0A2E000A ,0x0A26000A ,0x0A2E000D) and other stuff like the whatevergreen frame buffer patch guide. Don't seem to get far with that either lol Maybe someone can spot an error in the config, clover or ioreg? Sorta looks like its working but theres no ports or something? I'm trying to use the HDMI one on it Cheers IOREG.zip CLOVER.zip origin.zip
  3. Hi. I have a Lenovo Z510-b Laptop which I wanted to Hackintosh.this is my first one so I'm a newbie and don't kjow much. I did the process using an easy guide on Hackintosh zone which all I needed to do was to restore a pre maid installer on a usb disk and then boot ETC. After installation, I have faced several issues which I have managed to fix some of them gradually, but there are some I couldn't make it work: GRAPHICS: first of all lets talk about my main issue. The macOS only recognizes 4MB of my igpu and I can't make any difference. ( ill say what I have done for it so far) and for my Nvidia graphic I think it won't go so well ( after screwing my laptop up for 3 times) because I only have discrete or igpu option in my bios. ( discrete AFA I heard won't work) so im mainly hoping for my igpu. Things I have done for igpu: Have installed: FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext FakePCIID.kext intelGraphicsFixup.kext.kext using M u L Ti Be a St Have done clover settings: in devices tab,IntelGfx: 0x4128086 in Graphics tab, ig-platform-id: 0x0a260006 ( inject EDID and inject Intel checked) have checked fix intelgfx in api tab under fixes section * I even set the VRAM box in graphics tab to like 64 or 256 to see if it changes anything although I don't really know what is that for lol* PS: my bios doesn't have any option to set Vram like some guides suggest. AUDIO: this should be a minor issue. I do have the audio working using "M u L Ti Be_a St "and re booting after installing "100/200/300 series Audio Support" under "Realtek ALCxxx" section under audio tab under drivers section. but when I restart again, it just goes off! the installation suggests "Adds Rename HDAS to HDEF patch to /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/config.plist." but I had( and still have) this patch in my acpi section! so I don't know what is the deal there; but I think its minor. Sorry for long text. I really hope you could help me out. I will now send you the information you need about my laptop specs and will attach my problem reporting files which I made using the script rehab man has suggested. NOTE : I get some warnings and errors during boot (verbous) although it boots perfectly, but I don't know if those are included in my problem reporting file or not, or whether it is important at all or not.but I haven't seen any errors there relating to graphics. ( I might be wrong tho). My laptop: Lenovo Z510 Inel Core i7 4702MQ Intel HD 4600 Nvidia Geforce GT740M Realtek Audio ( I thing its 230) Realtek Ethernet Intel Wi-fi ( obviously couldn't make it work) Thanks in advance! debug_3979.zip
  4. I am trying to install Mavericks (Niresh) on VirtualBox. My computer is HP Envy TouchSmart 17-j043cl laptop (Haswell i7-4700mq + Intel HD4600). I get following message and installation is stopped: *** [iOBluetoothHCIController][searchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport! I tried combinations of -v, -x, -f, CPUs=1, GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No, npci=0x2000, etc. but no success. Some people say it's not a Bluetooth issue; it's a graphics issue. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.
  5. Hello guys. I am setting up my first Hackintosh. Here are the specs: Mobo: Adlink M-342 with AMI Aptio 4 UEFI Intel i3 2120 SandyBridge 4GB RAM 500 GB SeaGate HDD So, here's the issue. The first part of the installation process works perfectly. At the end of the process, I am asked to perform a restart. I do that, it boots back to Clover. I select the HFS partition where I installed OSx, it loads for a while and then the screen goes blank. The only way I found so far to be able to boot to OSx is to set a FakeID in Clover's Graphics Injection menu. The only FakeID that works is this one: 0x041680862 Which is not even a real FakeID. There is no other way, at the moment, to boot to OSx but this one, which is far from a perfect solution (the screen flickers every now and then and I cannot select resolutions different from 1024x768). I really need help on this. HD4600 is known to be fully compatible with OSx, so nobody else has ever had this issue before (apparently). Thanks for your help.
  6. http://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/2s1jr4/help_graphical_issue/ I didn't feel like having to rewrite this, so can anyone help with this issue? I originally posted this to reddit, so here's a link. I can post full system specs below if needed. I'm using Chimera btw.
  7. Update 03-07-14: Firstly, apologies for not updating this post as regular as I should. Currently still using ML 10.8.5 with no issues what so ever! I have tried on another partition the follow Mavericks setups; 10.9 to 10.9.3 - Upgrade from ML to Mavericks and clean installs - Consistent system freezes when using iTunes as a streaming server to Apple TV and when playing games and even when the system is idle. I've searched everywhere and followed guides that suggest ethernet issues (don't even use ethernet), memory voltage changes and even certain kext issues - all don't resolved the system freezes. So I've given up on Mavericks. When 10.10 is released and when there is a solid install guide, I will be trying 10.10. ------------------------------------- Update 30-09-13: While waiting for the retail version of Mavericks to be released, I decided to try to install ML 10.8.5. Success! (Sound, ethernet, on-board graphics running dual monitors, USB 2 and USB 3 all work) I followed this guide When Mavericks is released - i'll attempt to update and I'll post my findings. ------------------------------------- Hi All I'm a newbie to the hackintosh community and have recently purchased the parts to build my first hackintosh and want to share my experiences with you. I plan to have a fully working rig as soon Mavericks 10.9 has been released with the help and support of the hackintosh community, and who knows, I may be able to help out others along the way. As lets begin; The Hardware Motherboard + CPU: Gigabyte GA-Z87N-WIFI / Intel i5 4570 3.2 GHz with integrated Intel HD 4600 graphics Memory + Storage: 16 GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM / 1TB Western Digital SATA III HDD WIFI + Bluetooth Mini-pcie Card - Atheros AR5B195 + AR3011 The plan is to use the integrated graphics to drive 2x Dell S2440L 24' monitors via HDMI. This will allow me to free up the only PCIe slot for a hardware raid storage option later down the track. The Operation System Mavericks 10.9 - hopefully. The Testing So Far Ok, so after the build, I couldn't help myself and wanted to start testing out my new purchase with the current 'some what' available operation systems. I have tried both Mavericks and Mountain Lion. I'm currently running ML as I have found it to be the most stable for 'proof of concept'. I had noticed that both OSs didn't detect much hardware out of the box, however did detect the Bluetooth chip on the supplied with WIFI+Bluetooth mini-pcie card that came with the MB. What works and what doesn't; Intel HD 4600 Graphics - Works but not at full resolution as not supported by OS. Intel i217v LAN - Not working, no kexts avaialble, haven't really tried anything else though. Atheros LAN - Working, but had to source a kext from another site. USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 - Working, but the USB 3.0 is being detected as USB 2.0. ALC 892 Audio, Kext installed and detected to be working by the OS; however no sound output. Using the iMac 13,2 System Def - No software related issues; however CPU speed shown as 3.39 GHz. iTunes and App Store ok. Have not tried iCloud. The Plan As soon as Mavericks 10.9 is released to the public, i'm going to attempt a fresh install and will post the outcome. Please ask any questions or if you have any suggestions, please don't hesitate.
  8. PC Specs: Processor-Intel i5 4440. Motherboard- Intel DB85Fl RAM- Kingston 4Gb 1333mhZ Onboard Intel HD 4600 graphics. I have installed Mavericks using myHack and used ##### for post installation. Everything seems to work fine except the graphics. I still see 64mb of share vram instead of HD 4600 1024mb vram. Have tried Chameleon and clover but to no luck. Any solution or hint is appreciated. Thanks
  9. Hi there, this is my first desktop Hackintosh build with El Capitan 10.11.3 and everything is very nearly working. My only problem I have is that my Intel HD4600 is only being recognised as having 7mb of RAM. I have tried to install the AppleIntelFramebufferAzul.kext, along with the FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext but there is still only 7mb of VRAM recognised and there is huge screen tearing happening. I've spent the last two hours looking for a fix for this but most of the solutions are for laptops only. Is there any way to fix this? 11. I have an issue which I believe is hardware related as I get a double beep from the bios and it will not display join this monitor Crossfire 27QLED native resolution 2560x2048. I can swap to a BENQ GL2450-T which has a native resolution of 1920x1080 and it works perfectly. I am using DVI Dual Link cable which I simply swap between the monitors for testing with the other end connected to my board Board - Gigabyte Z97X-SLI, CPU - Intel i7-4770k Onboard Graphics HD4600 Yosemite 10.10.1 with Clover v2k_r3065 Intel injection selected via Clover Configurator I want to use this monitor which I have previously used with Mavericks and a EVGA GT640 (want to use the onboard graphics now due to an issue with the nVidia drivers). I suspect this is something simple which I am missing so all suggestions gratefully accepted as to why my Crossfire does not play with the HD4600. Monitor does work with the nVidia card but am plagued by the nVidia reboot issue. Edited to add just discovered if I change CSM support from Never to Always I get some text from the Clover boot loader, although still can't boot - perhaps this is a boot loader config issue
  12. Hello everybody, I have a mobo Z97X-UD3H and i'm using integrated HD4600 HDMI, with Yosemite and i have a problem after boot logo, my screen is showing a snowy picture for 5 - 10 seconds, and after that all seems to work fine. i inserted in clover <key>ig-platform-id</key> <string>0x0d220003</string> Do you know what is wrong in my system?. Attached there is a pic with my problem... Thanks..
  13. hi and thanks for the time you spend on forums helping people! i've a Gigabyte z87x-ud3h motherboard with a intel hasweel i74400K cpu and no extra graphic cards it's now too long for me trying to boot my 10.9.3 with hd4600 drived correctly so i'm asking some questions here probably noob questions... i installed 10.9.3 with myhack and the install ran smooth and fast. then i used latest multib**st to post-install with setup from different succefull installs in forums (all without dsdt). But mine is stuck on the famous bluetooth line.... so i suppose it's a hd4600 problem. i'd like to learn how to hackintosh and add kexts without that tool in order to understand OsX better as it could not get me a working computer with it's wizard.. and i see the guy is not appreciated on the hackintosh scene. i've done so many reboots and installs now... i think i should stop experiments and try and go further with knowledge... i tried all the boot flags like igpEnabler,graphicsEnabler,dart=0,-f but only -x works so i cannot do anything with that computer. i've seen that it could work with intelAzulFB=8 or 9 or 10 but didn't (is it usefull to try all the 0>15?) i aloso tried this method http://giuliomac.wordpress.com/2014/03/03/how-to-enable-intel-hd4600-natively-on-your-hackintosh/ but bluetooth line again it has randomly boot correctly when using myHack only but never again so i wonder if some adresses are not changing from boot to boot... what i think should work when i read forums with the same specific harware: graphicsEnabler=Yes IGPEnabler=No IntelAzulFB=8 or 9 or 10 (tried those 3 ones) here are my questions: is it usefull to try all intelAzulFB if i've never seen someone with my hardware using other than those ones will a clover bootloader install work better and wich install method would you suggest for this? (i read in some forums that clover is better with hd4600) Is clover ok for dualboot with W7/8? how can i know for sure (if possible) what are the id_platforms, pciroot_uid, IntelAzulFB number,.... without rebooting all the time till it works (loosing a lot of time and getting stuck on bluetooth..) so i can be sure if it's not booting it's not because those vales are false... ? would a dsdt inject help me (i know i'll have to do this anyway to get hdmi audio work so why not get hd4600 fully work this way) and which tuto/method would you suggest me is myhack a good installer? i see that it adds myhack.kext so it doesn't look realy clean.. could it be the problem. i suppose all installer do virtualy the same thing. Wich installer would you suggest me for this case? while booting the screen shows these infos about intel PU intel device info class code 0300 intel hd graphics 4600[8086:0412] (rev06) subsys [1458:d000] PciRoot (0x0)/pci(0x2,0x0) using default ip-platform-id of 0d220003 finaly in summary what would you suggest me to do to get it work with a minimal number of rebbots and other timewaste? the MB itself seems to work well... in particular: Wich install method would you suggest me and and wich post-install method would you suggest me? (not tony's one fur sure) What would you suggest me as readings, course, tutos.... in order to be a better hackintosher (strange word...) because i want to build more of them... i've got a lot of friends using mac for audio and video (as i do) and not earning enough money to get them. thanks in advance ako
  14. Hello. I have a ASROCK Z97 pro4 motherboard with a i5-4690K. As of software, it runs Clover and OS X Yosemite. I configured everything to work fine but I have hooked up a PHILIPS monitor to the HDMI port and a Dell monitor to the DVI. The problems come when the HDMI (philips) monitor is hooked up. When I put the hackintosh to sleep and then try to wake it, it reboots. (crashes) Another thing is (probably related) that when the system is running, and the HDMI monitor is reconnected to the board, the monitor gives an error and won't show picture ("Cannot display this video mode"). Please help.
  15. Okay, so my system is mostly working, but ever since the update to 10.10.1 I'm experiencing a rare kernel panic, or rather, one that I don't usually cause but that is entirely consistent. Quite simply, I tried a variety of ig-platform-id's in Clover before just sticking with the default value it gives for an HD4600 (0x0D220003) and it works fine for the most part. However, I have two screens, one connected via DisplayPort and one via HDMI, but if the HDMI screen isn't switched on during startup, then when I do turn it on then Yosemite kernel panics. If I have it switched on then Yosemite seems fine with this, and I can turn it on and off as normal. The only thing I've changed since the update was to remove a bunch of patches I wasn't using, including Realtek audio which I couldn't get to work, and HDMI audio which I'm not using (I opted for an Omni Surround 5.1 as it eliminated audio headaches); I figured it was better to prune any kext patches and SSDT files I wasn't actually using, which reduces me to just a few patches for Airport compatibility and a patch to enable TRIM support for all SSDs. Anyway, this issue didn't occur on 10.10.0, and while it's not critical (all I have to do is remember to turn both screens on) I'd really like to eliminate it entirely in case there may be other bugs that haven't surfaced. While it hasn't kernel panicked with the screen turned on at startup, I'm a bit paranoid that it might when I least expect it.

    HD4600 (mobile) - can't use HDMI

    Hello I can't use HDMI, when I plug the cable (with laptop off or on), the screen becomes black. What can I do? I tried FakePCIID and AppleIntelHD (actually they are both in my kexts folder). Here's my config. If fixing HDMi is not possible can I make VGA working instead? Sorry for my english. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>ACPI</key> <dict> <key>DSDT</key> <dict> <key>Debug</key> <false/> <key>DropOEM_DSM</key> <false/> <key>Fixes</key> <dict> <key>AddPNLF_1000000</key> <true/> <key>FixLAN_2000</key> <true/> <key>NewWay_80000000</key> <true/> </dict> <key>Patches</key> <array> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>change EHC1 to EH01</string> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> RUhDMQ== </data> <key>Replace</key> <data> RUgwMQ== </data> </dict> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>change EHC2 to EH02</string> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> RUhDMg== </data> <key>Replace</key> <data> RUgwMg== </data> </dict> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>change GFX0 to IGPU</string> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> R0ZYMA== </data> <key>Replace</key> <data> SUdQVQ== </data> </dict> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>change B0D3 to HDAU</string> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> QjBEMw== </data> <key>Replace</key> <data> SERBVQ== </data> </dict> </array> <key>ReuseFFFF</key> <false/> </dict> <key>DropTables</key> <array> <dict> <key>Signature</key> <string>#MCFG</string> </dict> <dict> <key>Signature</key> <string>DMAR</string> </dict> </array> <key>SSDT</key> <dict> <key>DropOem</key> <false/> <key>Generate</key> <false/> <key>PluginType</key> <integer>1</integer> </dict> </dict> <key>Boot</key> <dict> <key>Arguments</key> <string>nv_disable=1 kext-dev-mode=1</string> <key>Debug</key> <false/> <key>Legacy</key> <string>LegacyBiosDefault</string> <key>NeverHibernate</key> <true/> <key>Secure</key> <false/> <key>Timeout</key> <integer>5</integer> <key>XMPDetection</key> <string>Yes</string> </dict> <key>CPU</key> <dict> <key>UseARTFrequency</key> <false/> </dict> <key>Devices</key> <dict> <key>FakeID</key> <dict> <key>IntelGFX</key> <string>0x04128086</string> </dict> <key>USB</key> <dict> <key>AddClockID</key> <true/> <key>FixOwnership</key> <true/> <key>Inject</key> <true/> </dict> </dict> <key>DisableDrivers</key> <array> <string>VBoxHfs</string> </array> <key>GUI</key> <dict> <key>Custom</key> <dict> <key>Entries</key> <array> <dict> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>FullTitle</key> <string>UEFI internal</string> <key>Hidden</key> <string>Always</string> <key>Ignore</key> <false/> <key>NoCaches</key> <false/> <key>Type</key> <string>Other</string> </dict> </array> </dict> <key>Mouse</key> <dict> <key>DoubleClick</key> <integer>500</integer> <key>Enabled</key> <false/> <key>Mirror</key> <false/> <key>Speed</key> <integer>8</integer> </dict> <key>Scan</key> <dict> <key>Entries</key> <true/> <key>Legacy</key> <true/> <key>Linux</key> <false/> <key>Tool</key> <true/> </dict> <key>Theme</key> <string>El Capitan</string> </dict> <key>Graphics</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <dict> <key>ATI</key> <false/> <key>Intel</key> <true/> <key>NVidia</key> <false/> </dict> <key>LoadVBios</key> <true/> <key>NvidiaSingle</key> <false/> <key>VideoPorts</key> <integer>3</integer> <key>ig-platform-id</key> <string>0x0a260006</string> </dict> <key>KernelAndKextPatches</key> <dict> <key>AppleRTC</key> <true/> <key>AsusAICPUPM</key> <false/> <key>Debug</key> <false/> <key>DellSMBIOSPatch</key> <false/> <key>ForceKextsToLoad</key> <array> <string>\System\Library\Extensions\IONetworkingFamily.kext</string> </array> <key>KernelCpu</key> <false/> <key>KernelHaswellE</key> <false/> <key>KernelLapic</key> <false/> <key>KernelPm</key> <true/> <key>KextsToPatch</key> <array> <dict> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> AQAAdSU= </data> <key>Name</key> <string>IOGraphicsFamily</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> AQAA6yU= </data> </dict> </array> </dict> <key>RtVariables</key> <dict> <key>BooterConfig</key> <string>0x28</string> <key>CsrActiveConfig</key> <string>0x3</string> </dict> <key>SMBIOS</key> <dict> <key>BiosReleaseDate</key> <string>12/22/2016</string> <key>BiosVendor</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>BiosVersion</key> <string>MBP111.88Z.0138.B21.1612221936</string> <key>Board-ID</key> <string>Mac-189A3D4F975D5FFC</string> <key>BoardManufacturer</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>BoardType</key> <integer>10</integer> <key>ChassisAssetTag</key> <string>MacBook-Aluminum</string> <key>ChassisManufacturer</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>ChassisType</key> <string>0x08</string> <key>Family</key> <string>MacBook Pro</string> <key>LocationInChassis</key> <string>Part Component</string> <key>Manufacturer</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>Mobile</key> <true/> <key>ProductName</key> <string>MacBookPro11,1</string> <key>SerialNumber</key> <string>C02L3Y0FFGYY</string> <key>Trust</key> <false/> <key>Version</key> <string>1.0</string> </dict> <key>SystemParameters</key> <dict> <key>InjectKexts</key> <string>Yes</string> </dict> </dict> </plist>
