1. Hello! Sorry for the way of writing in English, I'm using google translator. I am several days trying to make my Mojave hakintosh work perfectly. However, I have reached a point where I can no longer proceed without help. Almost all hardawares were installed and recognized (using the clover). However, still have a panic kernel (capture attached). Every time, when connecting the MAC it restarts 2 or 3 times to be able to show the dekstop and to function normal. I also think that having problem with video graphics sometimes freezes the entire display system if video appears on a web page. I've attached a file with used files: clover, bios capture, complete hardware information, error capture(https://1drv.ms/u/s!AvhW45_HBY8zgfsySZPWZ-SZXFiMfA). Can someone help me? VGA on Hackintosh

Hi guys. My first laptop in signature has everything working, except for VGA in the HD4400. It has worked a couple of times, and when it works it does great. HDMI works perfect, though I have a big big VGA only screen Is there any way to make the VGA connection work better? Any Clover patches I could apply?
4. My screen is flickering, but the graphics is working with acceleration. Please help me fix flickering for yosemite. Tried with all values of IntelCapriFB. I have no success! Please help me
5. I have a Lenovo Z500 Touch with Mavericks Installed using Clover. IntelCoreI5 3230M. How do I get acceleration with clover?
6. Hello! I'm new to the conecpt of Hackintosh and trying to perform my first installation on my HP EliteBook Revolve 810. I'm running in to problems right at the beginning of booting the installation. My touchscreen laptop has the following specification: CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-3437U @ 1.9 GHz RAM: 8 GB 1600 MHz SODIMM HDD: 256 GB SSD m-SATA GPU: Integrated Intel HD4000 I have used the following guide http://www.tonymacx8...l-based-pc.html (##### & #####). I have also tried different boot flags such as, -x GraphicsEnabler=No, -x GraphicsEnabler=Yes, PCIRootUID=0, PCIRootUID=1 etc and nothing seems to work... I have also used the verbose boot mode to see what is going wrong. I attatch to images which are the last two I managed to take before the screen went black. What is the error for SMC meaning? /Philip
7. Hello Guys! I have ran into a weird situation here. My DELL 7720 SE laptop had some power problem on the motherboard (as told by the service center guys) which made my system unbootable. They replaced the motherboard. I brought it home and obviously, tried installing OSX using the Time Machine Backup. It restored correctly. Used all the same files/ config as earlier but the system couldn't boot up. It boots in safe mode, but no QE/QC. When I delete the Intel HD4000 Kexts and SNBGraphics etc kexts, the system boots up, again w/o QE/QC!!! Now, what in the world has gone wrong?? I have updated the BIOS to the latest A16. Is the new motherboard different than the earlier one? Basically, Intel HD4000 is not working....... I am trying get it work on OS X 10.9.2 I tried latest Chameleon Bootloader with DSDT=Null and tried all IntelCapriFB=1-11 EnableDualLink=Yes/No, GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No SkipNvidiaGfx=Yes.. All except one gave me Black Screen... IntelCapriFB=4 was the best one as the Intel Graphics was detected correctly with 1024Mb VRAM...but No QE/QC.. The graphics is obviously crappy without QE/QC... I checked the loaded KEXTS and found that AGPM is not loading.. FramebufferCapri and HD4000 kexts are loading with IntelCapriFB=4.... Also, clover Bootloader is not able to find my Mac volume, yes, i have the HFS related driver in CLover... tried both Vbox and HFSPlus...!!!!! So using chameleon on the USB as I have windows in UEFI mode with GPT partitioning. The older DSDT worked flawlessly (thanks to Lejenk) Somehow the same DSDT has stopped working after the swapping of motherboard..... System has Intel HD Graphics 4000 and NVIDIA GT650M in optimus.. CPU is 3rd Gen Intel Core i7 3630QM.. HDD is 1TB partitioned as GPT... with windows 8 installed in UEFI mode... Please help!
Retroilluminazione?) 9- Dual boot, come? Grazie a tutti in anticipo! Aspetto risposte!
9. UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is now very possible to boot my installer straight off the laptop itself! (Instead of swapping out hdds and stuff) Just install a kext from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/genericusbxhci/. From what I've found, Sony's motherboard uses XHCI to manage even the USB 2.0 drives. With this kext in place in /S/L/E in my OSX Installer, all three ports (USB2 + 3 + 3) work now. P.S. I am using OSX 10.9 Installer but this should work with ML too. Hi Everyone! I managed to get my Sony Vaio SVS1311FGS (Vaio S 2012 Series) on working with Mountain Lion DP4! Spec: i5-3210M (somehow unrecognized, cpuid model not found etc, but works) Intel HD 4000 (main GPU for OSX, works fully *details later below) NVIDIA Geforce GT-640M (Optimus cards are useless for Mac. However, I would like to know how to disable it via DSDT.) Realtek 10EC:8168 Ethernet card (work in progress, I haven't searched deeply for a 64-bit kext that would load in ML) Intel Wifi Card (garbage. I'm using a RTL8192SU USB dongle) Sound Card (lol, I don't know the model, but it works fine with VoodooHDA) (Should be the Intel HD Audio) Notes Beforehand: You cannot plonk in a USB OSX Installer made from either: ######, MyHack or any other USB solution. The absence of a BIOS mod (which I would have avoided anyway) to enable AHCI to get the USB Installer to recognize itself renders using USB Installers useless I'm not sure about using DVDs. I used a Sandy Bridge laptop to act as the installing machine instead. I switched their hard drives and got the thing to work, as my Sandy Bridge is hackintosh-friendly You need a special bootloader. No Chameleon-ML, No Chimera 1.10. You need those special ones OSX CANNOT BOOT FROM UEFI MODE. I use UEFI to go into Windows and Legacy into Mac. YOU MIGHT RUN INTO TROUBLE TRYING TO ENABLE CLICKING ON TRACKPAD. I've somehow managed to enable mine through the keyboard Steps: Partition the hard drive on any partition program (u can use diskpart or Disk Management from Windows itself) Remove it and place it into another machine where the USB Installers have successfully booted Get OSX installed. The hard drive is in a GPT format due to UEFI, no modding of Installer needed. When the hard drive is placed back into the Vaio S, get into the BIOS through F2 at boot and change Booting Mode into 'Legacy' and Place 'External Device' before 'Internal Hard Drive' in boot priorities THE NEXT STEP REQUIRES AN EXISTING MAC, to install the custom bootloader on the USB device. Get the USB Installer, insert it into the other Mac or Hackintosh and install http://blog.stuffedcow.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/Chameleon-2.1svn-r2012.pkg, a bootloader by stuffedcow for HD 4000 users. Set the settings on the Installer as follows: Standard boot, GraphicsEnabler=Yes. Ignore the HDMIAudio, NVIDIA, ATI options. When you're done, navigate to the Extra folder on the USB stick, and place the DSDT.aml attached in the zip file in this folder. Boot the computer with this USB stick. When at the boot prompt for the OSX partition in the HDD, type: -v -f "Graphics Mode"="1366x768x32" HD4000PlatformId=3 This should get it all working. Fix Everything Up (Network, etc). Others: INTEL HD 4000 Credits: http://blog.stuffedcow.net/2012/07/intel-hd4000-qeci-acceleration/ The table for HD 4000 is there. Those platform-ids that start with 0166 are for mobile (ours). Those with 0162 are for desktops. If you wish to try the platform-id for the alphabets, a is 10 and b is 11. I've tested them and the platform-id 3 should work for ours. It enabled Internal Screen and HDMI. I'm researchiing on editing the connector info for VGA. Some info on connectors for HD 4000: http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/60010-official-hd-4000-support-11.html NVIDIA GeForce GT640M Useless. Optimus does not work on OSX and probably never will as Apple uses MUXes. Do Note that the Speed/Stamina switch can be switched to either option. OSX does not care. However, I'd like to know how to disable it via DSDT to save battery life. REALTEK 10EC:8168 CARD In progress. INTEL WIFI Nope. Nada. Intel wifi was never used by Apple. USB 2.0 This will work if you use the USBPackage attached. Install the files in the folder 1 first, before installing those in 2.USB3 is a work in progress by other people using Intel's USB3 Controllers, although some have worked by changing XHCI setting in their BIOSes (no such option for us) SOUND Use VoodooHDA for Mountain Lion. SLEEP Using the SleepEnabler for Mountain Lion, but haven't tested yet. TRACKPAD Mine is Synaptics, so it works. But sensitivity needs changing. DSDT.zip USBPackage.zip
10. selling off a couple of my mackintosh projects as i don't follow the scene anymore really. last build i put on it was yosemite and it all works apart from the mini pci wifi that is no longer supported, but it works fine in mavericks and can easily be swapped out. the trick is this one has HDMI input so you can have an iMac that lets you run your games console on the same screen. uses desktop CPU so can be upgraded to i5 or i7. it also has windows 10 licensed to the device and it supports mSATA if you wanted to dual boot which is what i did. UK only but if this is of interest to anyone drop me a line, happy to discuss and answer any questions..
11. Hey fellow readers! I have a problem with my hackintosh. When I want to boot with dual monitors and I have both my DVI and HDMI connected I get many artefacts on both screens. When I boot with only my DVI screen I don't have any problems and when I connect my HDMI there aren't any problems at all. So it only happens when both screens are connected at boot. 12. Hello everyone I am currently trying to install Mountain Lion 10.8.4 on my notebook, but I did not have much success. This is my hardware: - Intel Core i7 3610QM 2,3 GHz (Ivy Bridge) - AMD Radeon HD 7970M - 8GB RAM - Motherboard: Clevo P150EM And here's what I tried so far and what kind of problems I had: First I tried installing with ##### and myHack. They both had the same problems: I could only boot in safe mode and with GraphicsEnabler=No. I searched a lot and often found guides about editing the DSDT. But since I could not find any for my hardware and I don't quite know how to patch them myself, I tried to find another way. That's when I read about Clover. So I made a bootable USB stick with 2 partitions (one for Clover and the other one for the ML InstallESD.dmg). I can boot into Clover just fine. It detects my two GPUs (Intel HD4000 and Radeon 7970M) and sets the native resolution correctly. Now when I try to boot the installation of ML I have two problems: 1) My USB 3 ports get turned off. At least for any hardware besides my mouse. So I can only use my single USB 2 port. 2) If I boot with my install stick in the USB 2 port I get up to the GUI initialization I guess. After a bit of waiting the display turns black and if I insert a HDMI cable I can see a white background and the spinning cursor on the second screen. It stays that way. I tried using different framebuffers in the Clover config (Aji, Buro, Chutoro), but nothing seems to get me further. Also: I found one post, suggesting to remove the ATI7000Controller.kext for the time of installation and put it back later on. Now that I wanted to try that, I stumbled upon this: I searched my BaseSystem.dmg for the ATIxxxxController.kexts and to my surprise my ML 10.8.4 does not include any ATI7000Controller.kext! My questions are: - Is it possible, that it got removed with the update from 10.8.3 to 10.8.4? Can anyone confirm this? - Do you guys have any ideas what I could try to make the installation not hang? - Is there a way to get the USB 3 ports working during installation? - Does anyone have any experience with AMD's Enduro technology (switching between IGPU and DGPU)? - How do I get the internal screen of my notebook working? I hope I got the most important aspects in this post and that someone can help me to get this installation working. Thanks in advance
13. Hey peeps, I've recently upgraded my pc with the idea that I will create a hackintosh that runs Mountain Lion, and have tried to buy compatible hardware. With the Mountain Lion release date soon, I guess I could have waited another 10 days or so to find out exactly what would work. But I'm inpatient. After reading around, I determined that the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H would be a pretty compatible motherboard (Doesn't even need a DSDT for sleep/reboot etc) along with the new Ivy Bridge i7 3770 (And integrated Intel HD4000 graphics). I will run it with the HD4000 to begin with, but I would like to upgrade and get a supported graphics card for my three monitors. So here's my base components: - GA-Z77X-UD5H - i7 3770 - 16GB G-Skill 1600 ram - 120GB Vertex 3 SSD Install I found this great guide by Lofen here that I pretty much followed. 1. Download the MtnLion Installer Kit ver 1.0.zip from here 2. Open the mkboot script and uncomment the Realtek ALC889a installation, Power Management plist, AppleRTCpatch.txt, and the Realtek NIC pkg 3. Open the finalize script and uncomment the same things as above. 4. Copy the install folder to your desktop, along with the installESD.dmg (From the ML app/download) 5. Format your 8GB+ USB/HDD to GUID, HFS+ and name it 'ML' 6. Open a terminal at your desktop and run 'sudo install/mkboot /Volumes/ML' and watch the show/make a cup of tea, this amazing script will do all the work (20 minutes or so) 7. Once that completed successfully, boot it and the Mac OSX Mountain Lion installer should appear, follow the instructions and install 8. Once complete, restart and boot off of the install USB/HDD again, we need to open terminal and run the './finalize' command to install the bootloader+extras on the main 9. With a little luck, we should be booting into a fresh installation of Mountain Lion! At this point, it will look a bit {censored}, No Sound, No HD4000 acceleration, No network. But not to fear. Network + Sound Pretty simple, probably not the best way to do it, but I downloaded the latest Multi Be ast (4.6.1) and check the following: Full QE/CI HD4000 Support I found this awesome thread by proteinshake that describes a way to get the HD4000 working properly here. I'm sure you can play around with DSDT's or some other method, but I managed to create myself an EFI String that I put in my org.chameleon.Boot.plist's device-properties. This excellent post details on how to find your own EFI String OR you could try the one I generated (same as someone else's in that thread) <key>device-properties</key> <string>8800000001000000010000007c0000000200000002010c00d041030a000000000101060000027fff0400100000006d006f00640065006c0000001a000000496e74656c20484420477261706869637320343030302c0000004100410050004c002c00690067002d0070006c006100740066006f0072006d002d006900640000000800000005006201</string> The Problems - The sound quality is average, no DD/DTS streams out of Optical, only stereo. Front and rear mic's work, two outputs on the back work (and a line in?) as well as Optical Out. If anyone has a better method of getting the Realtek 898 to work, please comment! - I've only managed to get one display running off of the HD4000 so far. UPDATE: (I've now added an ATI5850 and can run two off the card, and one off of the internal HD4000, the HD5850 was plug and play, worked OTB) - Forward and Back buttons on my mouse don't work! (Razer DeathAdder) Help!?1 Hope this helps someone, and no doubt, in the next month or so more things will become working as more people get Mountain Lion when it gets released. Cheers. 1. Fixed this by installing the OSX Razer driver and assigning the CMD+[, CMD+] keyboard hotkeys to each mouse button.
14. Pre-requistites: 1) Mac OS X Mountain Lion Install App from app store 2) MyHack (other tools may also be used) 3) Required Kexts [included in the package] 4) An 8 GB or higher USB Flash Drive 5) A (Mac/Hack)intosh installation (preferably Lion) 6) Some time 7) And Ofcourse an Acer Aspire e1-571 Processor : Core i3/i5/i7 Graphics Card : Intel HD3000/HD4000 Audio Card : ALC271x Trackpad : ElanTech What's Working: 1) The CPU Ofcourse 2) The Graphics Cards with full QE/CI 3) Sound works perfectly including mic 4) The ElanTech Trackpad works with multitouch gestures. What's Not Working: 1) Wifi (Card must be replaced ) 2) Broadcomm Ethernet 3) SD Card Reader Procedure: 1) Open up Disk Utility and Partition the Intallation USB Flash drive with GUID Partition and Mac OS X Extended (Journaled) …. Name it USB[this is important] . 2) Open up MyHack and let it do it's magic....the process will take about 10 – 20 mins. Drop the E1-571 folder that I uploaded into the installation media. 3) Make sure the Installer Flash drive is named USB and is mounted...Open up terminal and type: “ cd /Volumes/USB/System/Library/Extensions” 4) Then type in: “sudo mkdir Temp” 5) Then : “sudo mv AppleIntelHD* AppleIntelSNB* Temp” 6) Now exit the terminal and reboot into the installation media and install OS X. 7) Once the installation is complete reboot into the installation media but this time select the partition where you installed OS X and boot with the boot flag -v. 8) Please be patient as removal of AppleIntelSNBFramebuffer.kext earlier will cause system to wait for it and he booting may take upto 8 – 10 mins. 9) Set up the OS X as normal and once you get to the Desktop open up the installation media and open kext wizard and install all the kexts in the folder that I uploaded (Make sure to remove VoodooPS2.kext and AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext). 12) Use Chameleon Wizard to install Chameleon with the option boot0hfs. 11) Reboot and enjoy... Files: These are the required files. MyHack can be downloaded from the site Btw if anything doesn't work please let me know... Cheers @k@tsuk!777
15. Hello, I am somewhat new to this. My build is a Gigabyte GA B75m d3h, and I have an i3 3245 with HD 4000 graphics installed on it. I want to use integrated graphics, and have gotten to the point that the kext loads in Mavericks, and is recognized as "Intel Graphics 4000 with 1024 MB". However, the graphics are still really choppy, and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
16. Hello I am having an issue with my Mavericks Install 10.9.1 that I installed with MyHack. I have my Intel HD 4000 recognized in the system in normal boot, but the video is choppy when dragging windows or trying to watch Youtube. Changing the IntelCapriFB seems to make no difference. I also do not get full acceleration Here is a screenshot of my system: Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this?
17. Is there any benefit to getting both of my graphics cards working? I currently have my GTX 760 working fine with HDMI audio. If I remove the card from the board I can use the HD4000 wihout any issues (don't remember if HDMI audio still works, but it was at one point) If I "enable" the internal graphics (instead of auto) I get a kernel panic that looks like a framebuffer issue. I think it's the same issue this guy is getting http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/296122-please-help-me-with-a-kernel-panic/ I don't have any plans of using the onboard graphics but I'm curious if I'm missing out on anything, like, I don't know... proper cpu power management? I also have a little OCD problem, where I do like EVERYTHING to work right even if I don't plan on using it, but I have to weigh the effort/benefit of the situation. Is it a simple option I have to turn on in Clover? Or do I have to do some DSDT edits? Thanks guys
18. Hi all I've managed to get a working OSX installation, albeit one with many issues to fix. Your help would be immensely appreciated!! My full laptop specs are in my signature. My current set up is a UEFI dual boot on my Samsung NP740U3E-A01SG laptop using Clover, with which I boot Windows 8 and Mavericks 10.9.4. I made my USB installed based on vanilla Mavericks from App Store and then installed Clover on the USB's EFI partition. I also understand that it would be difficult for you guys to help me with so many problems at once, so I have listed them down in priority. The most pressing issue now is the graphics. It would display artifacts which persist until I do a reboot, and the artifacts would appear on random. Sometimes I would be able to boot just fine with perfect graphics, resolution and colour. Other times it would be a mild distortion, so I can still do work on OSX. Yet other times, the artifacts would be so terrible that nothing intelligible can be made out on the screen. Fixes I have tried to no avail: injecting EDID into Clover's config.plist as well as the fix described here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/208410-fixing-scrambledstretched-or-wrong-resolution-laptop-display-problems/ 2. Ethernet. Best I have achieved so far is to have Ethernet connected but unable to get IP address or internet connection. IP address becomes self-assigned and does not result in internet connectivity. Fixes tried: installing Realtek RTL81xx.kext 3. Touchpad. I have installed ApplePS2ElanTouchpad.kext but it is still buggy. When I do a click-drag operation, the pointer will hang and I would have to use the USB mouse. Keyboard however works fine. If I uninstall the ApplePS2Elantouchpad kext, both laptop keyboard and touchpad will not work, requiring the use of USB mouse and keyboard. 4. Sound. Cannot adjust volume nor play soundtracks. 5. Sleep. I read that NullCPUPowerManagement breaks sleep, but is there a way around that? Less important issues to be resolved are: a. Bluetooth remains switched on without the ability to switch off. b. Wireless. Since I am running an Intel wireless card which I know it is unsupported, I have ordered from Ebay a Broadcomm DW1510 to be installed. HD4000 What kind interfaces it support

Hi, guys! Not long ago I've bought core i3-3225 processor with hd4000 onboard. And now I want to buy other components and monitor. I read this forum a little bit and understand that I can't connect monitor using VGA interface(because real mac doesn't use it). I want to know what other interfaces are supported by OSX? VGA — not supported DVI — ? HDMI — as I understand it's supported, but I'm not sure DP — I think it's supported because it native interface for apple's monitors Please tell me where i'm right and where not and what about DVI?
20. Hello there! Yes I know there's google and I was using it much lately, though I'm really new to Hackintoshes and would be grateful for any help. So after many hours spent and cried at my desk I have finally made my USB working(cause I couldn't boot with USB enabled in BIOS) and so I bought usbWifi card and got this thing working. I have removed some kext files and after few or more tries I'm able to boot normally without -x flag (it takes some time, if there's any way to boot with kernel cache use please let me know I'm running 10.8.2 1) Graphics I heard that it is possible to make nVidia GT 650m work if Intel HD 4000 had been somehow disabled - can't do it in bios, there's no such option. Yes I have installed the latest bios before trying Hackintosh. However here getting any video card fully working would be very appreciated - I'm having strong lags while using LaunchPad and can't watch any video some webpages same thing. System Info is telling me UKNOWN graphic card 64 mb shared system memory. I have tried many kext, bootflags and device-properties in chameleon, deleted all nvidia files. It just doesn't work. Only one good thing here is I have set resolution to 1920x1080 (full hd screen) with "Graphics Mode" flag. 2) Audio I got Intel HD Audio. I have tried VooDooHda many versions, can't get it working. Thank you in advance for any help, I've made much effort and willing to try anything that could help. I've exported DSDT as far as I have understood what it is it can help so I'm attaching it.
22. Hey guys, I'm working on a Samsung serie 5 ultra hackintosh, and I can't get my built-in display to work in any way. I add some strings to my org.chameleon.boot.plist like: <key>HD4000PlatformId</key> <string>9</string> <key>device-properties</key> <string>5e0000000100000001000000520000000100000002 010c00d041030a000000000101060000027fff04002c000000 4100410050004c002c00690067002d0070006c006100740066 006f0072006d002d006900640000000800000003006601</string> Also tried with GraphicsEnabler Yes and No, same thing. And with these strings, I could get my graphics and acceleration to work, but only in a external display (HDMI). Could anybody give me a hand out? Thanks!
23. First of all, hello guys and thanks in advance for your support. I desperately need your help. I have a laptop, Acer E1-570 where I successfully managed to install Niresh Mavericks 10.9 I have Chameleon bootloader and at first the system didn't want to boot. It only booted with -x boot flag that's it safe mode. After some advices around forums, I removed all the kexts files relating the graphics from /System/Extensions/Library and now it's booting fine without any boot flag but I have no internet and no graphic acceleration. The graphic card is correctly identified but no kext are loaded. As I said, I have the HD 4000 integrated graphic card and I don't know what to do to install the correct kext file. I tried everything but every time I install the AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext , Mavericks won't boot and I don't know what boot flag should I use but I tried almost anything. Could you please, please, give a hand with this? Thanks again guys
24. Hello all! I'm trying to install yosemite for a week now and I haven't had any luck at the moment The install USB I'm creating are not booting to the install screen, so I haven't tasted anything from Yosemite yet. Mavericks is running fine with chameleon and everything is working I have the following specs: - Asus P8Z77-M Pro - Intel 3570K (Intel HD4000) - 16GB Corsair 1333MHz DDR3 - 128SSD (with another bunch of data disks connected) When i try to boot u a Yosemite USB with Chameleon 2380V3 (of the install scripts found here or from an install of Chameleon Wizard) all of the kexts are loaded, but I'm getting stuck on the following I've tried the following: - GraphicsEnbabler=Yes/No - DSDT from Mawericks - Clover boot (I seriously don't like Clover) from the install scripts found here - Searhing the web, but didn't find anything usefull So I'm a little desperate! Greetings, eXtink
25. The machine is an Asus x301a with hd4000 graphics. This is what happens if I plug the external monitor and boot: https://youtu.be/t73txs_eHZo The PC posts to external monitor, then after DSMOS arrives and framebuffers are initialized the internal screen lights up but no image is shown, image only in the external monitor This is what happens if I plug the external HDMI after post at clover menu or even when the system is loaded. https://youtu.be/mbCwRfDsDLI internal already lit and image is shown after DSMOS and framebuffer initialization. Setting primary display to IGFX in bios doesn't change behavior. Any clue?
