1. Hello I’m trying to get my second screen to work with my GTX 970, but every time the second display is connected, the hackintosh reboots the second it should display the login screen. The two displays work fine (even audio) when I connect the second screen AFTER the hackintosh has booted. One display is using a 2560x1440 resolution (at the moment connected via displayport), the other 1080p (atm connected via displayport-hdmi adapter). I tried a hdmi-dvi adapter and some different combinations of connecting the screens, too, but that didn’t do anything. Anyone here with a GTX 970 and a similar set of screens that work? Any help is greatly appreciated Greetz N.
2. I have a glitch on the top and bottom of my screen when I'm booting up. It's between the apple logo and the login screen. It goes past pretty quickly and then turns into the common loading bar on the bottom of the screen problem, before everything works correctly at the user login screen. I've searched around some for a fix but couldn't find anything for this particular issue. I found some fixes for glitching on integrated graphics but nothing for a dedicated nvidia gpu with multiple monitors. I have monitors attached as DVI and HDMI. I'm on the latest web drivers but this has been an issue since upgrading ot el cap. It's a small issues, but any help, suggestions, or pointing me in the right direction would be very much appreciated. My specs are in my signature.

HDMI audio lag with gtx 970

Hello, I have got my G5 yosemite hack (If anyone wants pictures of the untouched clean back and front) running great for a few months now. The only problem I still experience is the fact that my HDMI audio starts lagging after a few minutes and eventually ends in freezing the system. To enable the audio I have used several kext just to enable HDA audio, because I don't use the alc892. But it's needed to run HDMI audio in combination with the well known HDMI audio kext. The problem is the graphics card, because when I use the exact same kexts and other components it runs just fine. Anyone got a solution for this maybe? I use clover as the boot loader. Thanks in advance from sunny Holland
4. Hi to everybody, After a lot of time and troubles I have a (nearly) fully functional hackintosh. To make this dream real (lol) I need your help in some problems, first of all audio. The audio chip of my mb (signature) is realtek alc1150. I found a lot of guides (most of that on "toleda methods"), but nothing work for me, neither "apple hda audio" or other solutions ! The only admissible (is it?) solution is with vodoohda 2.8.8. Sound was popping and I solved it with the midi configurator of mac os x (i changed Hz). I had it on HDMI, but i can't slide volume down or up, when i plug in headphones the pc doesn't switch automatically the output source and the volume in headphones is ridicolously low. But when i use headphones as output I can slide volume. I tried tipical solutions to solve it, but, again, nothing solved. Another problem is that internal hd (i use it only for storage) is slow. It is formatted in NTFS because I use it also on windows. I really notice its slowness when I modify a song on iTunes (library stored there), I use Tuxera to write on it and I don't know what other file system I can use because there are some files (big sized like games) that I can't move on a fat32 hd. I test vga card and results are better on windows (sigh). What can I do to improve vga performance on mac? How can I optimize all the machine in few words. Thank you very much for all your time I appreciate it. [|OFFTOPIC| I installed and deleted MacFuse (a program for ntfs), but I can't remove panel on settings.]
5. Hello, I'm getting random kernel panics on Yosemite 10.10.4 + Clover. The system works pretty good besides that, sound after sleep works etc. I hope anyone can help me because this is driving me crazy :<. Thanks! Hardware: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0Ghz Box Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK G.Skill Trident X DDR3 2400 PC3-19200 16GB 2x8GB CL10 Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 WindForce 3X OC 4GB DDR5 Samsung 850 Evo SSD Series 250GB SATA3 x2 OCZ-Vertex 4 SSD 128GB SATA3 Config.plist: https://www.dropbox.com/s/x95xhbf0n53u5oz/config.plist?dl=0
6. Hi all I'm problems with my machine today. Previously this was a smooth running Skylake machine on 10.11.4 with a GTX 970. I've done some extensive troubleshooting and still can't get video acceleration to work. Randomly the other day while browsing the web, the computer monitor just blanked out on me and the monitor went to sleep. Then I wouldn't be able to boot into the Machine as the monitor would turn off half way through the booting process. I'm was finally able to boot by passing the nv_disable=1 flag but then my 970 wouldn't be recognized and I'd have zero graphics acceleration. I played around with a few things. Updated to 10.11.5 with the latest Nvidia drivers and am still having the same issue. Currently I can only boot with the nv_disable=1 flag with zero graphics acceleration. If I don't include this flag the booting process goes halfway then the monitor sleeps. I've tried multiple system definitions from iMac 17,1, 15,1 14,2 MacPro 6,1 4,1 3,1 I've tried the Pike AGDPfix I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest nvidia web drivers I even thought there was a chance my video card was busted so I booted into windows and everything works perfectly. I also tried to switch back to using the integrated graphics by plugging my HDMI cable into my integrated HDMI port (which used to work) but now I can't even see my bios screen when I'm on integrated graphics. No idea what the problem is. I'm not sure what to try next. Any help is much appreciated. Here's a link to my clover config https://www.dropbox.com/s/s1xzmasrcy5632o/config.plist?dl=0
7. GA-Z77-DS3H Motherboard i7-3770K MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G 16Gb Ram Yosemite 10.10.2 with Clover Issue: No way to boot with NVIDIA web drivers checked. Able to boot with OS X Default drivers, after 3 or 4 kernel panics. Hello, So I am having a weird issue with my Hackintosh since I upgraded my GTX 680 to a GTX 970 and updated to 10.10.2 : Now when I boot my computer, I get a random kernel panic 4 out of 5 times before getting to the login screen. 8. Hi guys, After a successful installination of mac os x yosemite, including ethernet,video...except audio everything was smooth running. But now after 5-6 days of smooth running, it shows this error and never boots up BUG in process suhelperd[198] it never boots up again. Last thing I did was to install audio drivers to the USB EFI, but it didnt work and now this error. Thanks Rahul
9. I have this exact card, I just installed in my MacPro 1 1. https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GAMING-GTX-970-100ME/dp/B00TPLKR7Q/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1509488203&sr=1-1&keywords=msi+geforce+gtx+970+gaming+100me I'm running 10.11.6, and using WebDriver 346.03.15f09. The card is installed in the 1st slot (bottom), and I have a 8600 GT in the one above it. The GTX 970 shows up as "Nvidia Chip Model", and gives no output on any interface. Surely there is some kext I can modify? Which one?
10. I am having problems with my Gigabyte Gtx 970 getting detected by Yosemite install. I have tried too many methods here and there to make it work and because I am a beginner and learning new things with each combination, I am repetitively failing to make that happen. So here are few things I did which are not working as expected: 1) I installed the appropriate drivers and tried to boot up with loading nvidia drivers from preferences center but that didn't worked. 2) I tried injectEDID, InjectNvidia and LoadVideoBios from clover bootloader option and also with the flag kext-dev-mode=1 but it failed to work. In 'about mac' it is showing gtx 970 "0"mb vram. Monitor works so slow that I can distinctly see each buffer and screen refresh every time. 3) I used additional boot flag nvda_drv=1 to make it detect the VRAM of the GPU but after the apple logo, monitor went black showing "NO SIGNAL" error where I have turn off the power supply to restart the system. Please would anyone guide me to make my 970 work with Yosemite.

Gtx 970 Issues

CPU ( Intel Core i5 4690 Haswell 3.5 GHz) GPU (Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 970) MotherBoard (Asus H97m-e) Ethernet (Realtek 8111GR) The major issues I encountered were the graphics and stuttering movement on the screen with larger latency between two stutters. My default resolution was 1024*764 but I somehow managed to change it to 1920*1080 by using a option in #####. But my gpu is not getting identified by OS. I did some research on the internet and tried installing NVIDIA Web Driver 343.01.02f01 and booted up with nvda_drv=1 flag but then my monitor went off and started showing NO SIGNAL. And if I boot without any boot flags then I am seeing large amount of stuttering which makes it unable to navigate on the screen. Would anyone please help me to make my GTX 970 work on yosemite ?
12. Hello, all. I recently installed macOS High Sierra (10.13.0, build 17A405) on an APFS partition on my HDD. Everything installed nicely, and I can boot into macOS just fine. That is, until I install Nvidia's web drivers for 17A405, version 378.10.10.10.15.120 and 378.10.10.10.15.117. After I installed it, the system no longer boots up to the log in screen. The system will just reset right before where it should get to the log in screen. I booted in verbose, but the text was scrolling too fast for me to read it. So I recorded it in slo-mo, and I can't see an abnormalities. I'll attach a photo of what it looks like right before it resets. Yes, I have NvidiaWeb checked in Clover, and when I boot with nv_disable=1, the same thing happens. Tried to boot with -x, and still no luck. I tried uninstalling the drivers with my iGPU, but it looks like the Intel HD 630 doesn't have support in High Sierra, or at least it won't boot with it. I'm booting with system definition iMac14,2. I've had this card for two years, and have never seen this happen on 10.11 or 10.12. System Intel Core i7-7700k @ 4.2GHz (not overclocked) MSI H110M Gaming motherboard 16GB DDR4 RAM EVGA GTX 970 4GB Any help would be appreciated, thanks! UPDATE: I actually got it to work using some kexts, NvidiaGraphicsFixup and Lilu.
13. I had this problem on my AMD hackintosh too but I have Photoshop and Premiere installed on my Sierra hackintosh (specs below). Premiere crashes when I tell the project to use GPU acceleration and Photoshop crashes in general after the splash screen. It's apparent that it's due to incompatibility with my GPU. Is there a fix for this? I'd rather not force all the processing on my CPU for video-based tasks. Specs: Intel i7 6700k Asus Z170-E Motherboard EVGA GTX 970 4GB 16GB DDR4 RAM
14. Buenas! Mientras vuelvo a Windows... Un saludo!
