I have installed MacOS Mojave successfully. But have some serious issue with graphics and apps freezing. 1. Almost every apps freeze at some point. even System Preference freeze whenever click on any option. then either have to quit or force quit. 2. When using any apps or loading something, that apps window stuck on screen, it doesn't go even after Killing the apps. Also when write something in Terminal, text not appear on terminal screen. if click inside the Terminal again, then all text show up suddenly. A lot of others weird problem happen. Also most time when booting, apple logo and loading bar stuck on screen. If write password blindly and press Enter, then Desktop screen comes. 3. Sometimes machine turn off directly and then restart itself. philippd posted a topic in OSx86 10.14 (Mojave)Hey there So I managed to do a vanilla install of 10.14 on my new machine. I have 2 exact same displays hooked up to my ASUS STRIX RX470 8G. Display 1: connected via HDMI Display 2: connected via DVI to HDMI cable Display #1 works perfectly fine, but display #2 has a really ugly pink/ magenta tint to it. In Clover (in fact even in the first half of booting) the second display has the colors just right. Then, my screen glitches/ flashes for a second The display #1 continues to work properly, #2 turns pink. Any help would be very much appreciated!
OkamiComp posted a topic in OSx86 10.10 (Yosemite)Okay, I'm new here, but I'm not new to Hackintosh - I've set up three different successful hackintoshes in the past, one shop-bought desktop, one custom built desktop, and one laptop. I just got a new desktop PC to play around with, and I want to install Mac OS X Yosemite on it. It's not playing ball. The graphics are completely broken, blank screen with drivers, and horrific graphical slowness and lag without. It's worth approaching this fromt the standpoint that more or less nothing aside from hard drive, cpu, ram and ethernet works. It's not pretty. Here's the core specifications: CPU: Intel Core i7 2600, 2nd gen, 1155, Sandy Bridge RAM: 8GB DDR3 HDD: 2TB SATA Hard Drive, 5400 RPM (Partitioned into two partitions, 1TB for Windows 8.1, and 1TB for Mac OS X. There's no problem with this, Chameleon works a dream!) GPU: nVidia Geforce GT 545, a 3GB edition (The main source of my problems, as I can't figure out how to get drivers to work!) There's additional parts, too. Here they are: Motherboard: HP IPISB-CH2, Intel H67, SATA AHCI controller (Has USB 3.0, and has integrated Intel HD Graphics 2000/3000 which may interfere, I'm not sure.) Ethernet: Realtek RTL8111E Wireless: Ralink RT5390 TV Card: Hauppauge WinTV DVB-T USB with IR Remote (model 133xxx) Sound: IDT 92HD89E Beats audio Disk Drive: SuperMulti Blu-ray Player drive And, finally, it has a multi-card reader. My goal is to get as much of this working smoothly with Yosemite as possibly - ideally without using a distribution, and just using a genuine Yosemite DMG. I tried Niresh's Yosemite distro and that has not been a success so far.
Hey Forum... I succesfully installed Yosemite on my Lenovo G580 laptop. It seems to work fine, but i got a problem with the graphics. It only shows 4 mb of vram. Because of that is it very laggy, and i have tried a lot to enable the graphics, but nothing has worked. Intel Graphics HD4000 is intergraded in the laptop... Hope that somebody can help me... Thanks.
