  1. Hi. I apologize in advance if I didn't post in the right category and if my title and description aren't specific enough :c My config in a nutshell: CPU: i7 5820k GPU: MSI GTX 1060 3GB RAM: 16 GB MOBO: MSI X99 SLI PLUS I attached RunMe output with all the details of my built. Some background: I have my Hackintosh for about half a year. That time I managed to make it works and fix major issues, but some of them left unresolved since then and I ignored them until now. I use my Hackintosh for Adobe projects (PR, AE, PS, IL, AU and a lot more) - most of them connected with video editing of course browsing with Chrome and other small tasks. Problems: Random restarts - this is the biggest one. I'm starting to work on bigger and bigger projects and at this time I think I can't allow this to happen that often. In the past, they happened like once a day or a couple of times a week. However, now it's just frustrating when it happens even 5 or more times a day. I've tried to observe and find out what can be the cause but I haven't managed to find any connections. I thought it happens when Premiere or another app is using GPU, but I haven't seen increased usage when it restarts. I think that it can be connected with GPU, memory or PSU or... meh, anything else. I don't have resources to check if it'll work with other components. There should be some fix for this. I will really appreciate any help with this :c Restart instead of shutdown & sleep doesn't work. I've tried to look through some Google results for this and tried many solutions (as you can see in attached Clover folder), but I think the right one for many of these issues is to make my own DSDT. Glitches, freezes and other things while encoding a video. It happens very often when I try to do this. Maybe it is an issue with GPU or (hopefully) only with GPU drivers which can be fixed with some patch. Today my headphones stopped working. I have a multi-output device configured in the Audio MIDI Setup app which includes my headphones (HyperX Cloud via USB) and Soundflowerbed virtual audio device for capturing system audio. Today while I was trying (like 15 times) to encode a video in Media Encoder in the background and watch video on YouTube I stopped hearing anything from my system. Of course, it restarted a couple of times as always, but even this didn't solve this. If I plug them directly with mini jack (not via USB Soundcard which was in the box and which I always used) in the front IO or the back I only hear some loud noise It takes EX-Fat formatted volumes a few minutes to mount after each restart. I found a workaround to format it with NTFS since I have Tuxera installed and I will reformat these volumes when I will find time for this, but maybe there is some fix for this. GPU is a little bit hot. HW Monitor shows it is only 45-55 degrees, but for my hand is a little bit hot, idk. Also related to GPU - glitch after POST but before entering Clover boot menu. It is a black screen with little white squared glitches for a few seconds. Maybe it indicates the GPU drivers are loading, but maybe it shouldn't be like this. And if I can ask about that - I can't make all applications hide on startup. I, obviously, have "Hide" checkbox checked on every login item in settings, but it doesn't work, none of the apps is hidden in the dock. Is there a way to fix this? Also a small but annoying problem - I can't turn off permanently Mojave update notification (since I tried to install it, and I had to reverse to High Sierra because I had a black screen and I didn't have time for repairing all of them. Tags are not working in Finder - every time I tag a file or folder and make a change in it (for example save a text file) the tag disappears. So, with knowing all of that, is there a way to make a proper DSDT file for my Hackintosh? I tried to look through some guides on how to make it but I think I reached my abilities to understand how Mac OS works and what all of these things are, so I'm asking you guys politely, would someone like to help me? At least with these random restarts? :/ I really begin to think that I'm a newbie in configuring all of that Clover things - even after what I managed to do with my PC. Help me, pleease... :c If you have any questions post it below, I will really appreciate any help <3 Send me MBP-Gorec.home.zip
  2. Hello guys, i'm new here so please bare with me. I have installed Snow Leopard retail on the computer of the signature, updated to 10.6.8 via legacy kernel + combo update. Enabled my GeForce 8600 GT via EFI string. The problem is, when i play an youtube video, the screen starts to randomly flicker (very fast, almost not perceptible), until it freezes completely. This happens on any web browser. but only when a video is played. To reproduce the problem, here's what i do: Watch any youtube video on any browser, in this case, Safari 5.1.2... then i wait a little... The screen starts to randomly flicker, until the entire browser stops responding, 2 or 3 seconds later, finder stops responding too. And then, the entire OS X's UI freezes and i have no option but to force reboot. The browsers used: Google Chrome 15 Mozilla Firefox 8.0.1 Apple Safari 5.1.2. Initially i was thinking it was a video problem, so removed the efi string and installed NVEnabler.kext, same problem happens. Any idea? I have searched everywhere, even here on InsanelyMac, but no avail. Please, if someone knows what is happening, please answer.

have already built one hackintosh, I Now I am building a second one, but with different parts, (for a friend who got got his parts using the lists on tonymac) the specs of this new built are as follows: Motherboard: GA-H87-D3H Graphics: Internal graphics CPU: Intel Core i5-4430 Harddrives: SanDIsk Extreme ssd 120 gb (system drive) AND one 1 tb harddisk for other files Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8 gb THE ISSUE I decided to install mavericks because it seemed for what I read that it would work fine, and so I did. Installation went very smooth, no bootflags at all necessary, just pop and install. Everything works fine, except that it randomly freezes, sometimes it takes a long time before it freezes, sometimes soon after starting to work with it. The only pattern I have found is when try to install adobe Creative suite (and I assume other large programs, I havent really tried installing any other until I solve the issue), it always freezes, but it also freezes at other points, with no apparent pattern. Because of this problem i thought it would be a mavericks issue, and so I decided to install mountain lion on it 10.8.5, thinking that since it was the OS I use on mine, it would be more stable (mine has 10.8.5 and has been awesome-ly stable) TO my surprise, the same thing happened on Mountain lion 10.8.5: random freezes. I decided then to install mavericks since it was a lot easier and installed smoothly (installing 10.8.5 required bootflags and wasnt as smooth) and since I figured it wasn't mavericks causing the issue (otherwise I wouldnt get the same problem with mountain lion I figured) I have read some posts, but havent been able to find a solution, I really appreciate the help!! and I really hope someone can give me some answer...

  5. Hey, i have problem of Freezes and Glitches with Intel HD 4400 in High Sierra 10.13.4. I have i5-4300U with the following edits: OperationRegion (GFXH, PCI_Config, Zero, 0x40) Field (GFXH, ByteAcc, NoLock, Preserve) { VID0, 16, DID0, 16 } Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) // _DSM: Device-Specific Method { If (LEqual (Arg0, Buffer (0x10) { /* 0000 */ 0xC6, 0xB7, 0xB5, 0xA0, 0x18, 0x13, 0x1C, 0x44, /* 0008 */ 0xB0, 0xC9, 0xFE, 0x69, 0x5E, 0xAF, 0x94, 0x9B })) { If (LNotEqual (And (VID0, 0xFFFF), 0xFFFF)) { Store (Package (0x0E) { "AAPL,slot-name", "Built In", "name", "Intel Graphics Controller", "model", Buffer (0x0E) { "Intel HD 4400" }, "device_type", Buffer (0x14) { "Graphics Controller" }, "compatible", Buffer (0x0C) { "pci8086,412" }, "AAPL,ig-platform-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x06, 0x00, 0x26, 0x0A }, "hda-gfx", Buffer (0x0A) { "onboard-1" } }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } } Return (0x80000002) } And using "0x04128086" as FakeID, injecting Intel enabled and using the "0x0A260006" in Clover config.plist. Please any suggestion to solve this issue? Thanks!
  6. Hi everyone, I'm having a weird issue, when I do certain tasks the OS freezes and becomes unresponsive, at that point the only way to "fix" that is force shutdown pressing the power button from laptop. The only two ways I reproduce that are: Using Box Sync, when that program starts syncing after a while (not to much) the OS hangs At first boot when OS restores opened programs and Google Chrome has a few tabs (like around, I don't know, 30 for example), Chrome starts restoring every tab and OS hangs after a little bit (while restoring tabs) Anybody experienced this or have any ideas about it? Thanks in advance. Spects: Dell Inspiron 3420 Intel Core i3 2328M 8GB 1333Mhz DDR3 Intel HD Graphics 3000 512MB SATA 500GB OS X Niresh Mavericks 10.9 + Update 10.9.5 from Mac App Store GPT (GUID Partition Table) Bootloader Clover UEFI Any other data you may need just ask me. Best regards.
  7. As many of you know, main graphics engine hangs are a real plague of many Intel HD3000 Graphics laptops. I've been trying to figure how to fix it for quite a while now. Sadly I haven't found a working solution yet. So I've thought about a different approach to the whole subject. It is known, that hot plugging another display device cures that problem, but that essentially makes your laptop a non-portable device, which is not a very good solution (unless you are using your laptop only at home). So the question here is: Is it possible to trick OSX into thinking or make it think, that there is an HDMI/DVI/DP device connected to it?

Intel HD 3000, freezes and lines

Hi. Configuration: HP ProBook 4530s: Intel Core-i5 2430m, Intel HD Graphics 3000, Crucial M4-CT128M4SSD2, 8GB RAM, Atheros AR9285, Realtek RTL8111/8168B SMBIOS: MBP8,1 Intel HD Graphics 3000: Device ID: 0x0116 Revision ID: 0x0009 VRAM: 512 MB (because of 8GB RAM). Problems: There are graphical problems: lines and hangs of everything on the screen but the mouse can move. Already found that it doesn't depend on software and if I'm using Snow Leopard, then everything is fine. If I'm using only one bar of 4GB RAM in Lion, then everything is fine, too. These issues are returned only in combination Lion + 8 GB RAM. I'm using the latest version of Chimera. Playing with the key "Graphics Enabler" does not help, but it is not needed because the card identified well without it. Using the latest beta build of the Lion shows that the same problems remained. I have confidence (perhaps due to the fact that no other versions), the problem is related to the frequency. I have a processor Intel Core-i5 2430m, where the parameter "Graphics Max Dynamic Frequency" is 1.2 GHz. Apple, in turn, uses 2415m and 2435m processors in MBP8,1. They set this parameter to 1.3 GHz. Laptop screen uses LVDS connection type, and here is my connection string from AppleIntelSNBGraphics.kext: 0503 0000 0200 0000 3000 0000 The first option means that it is LVDS, and the other two I do not know. Maybe one of them responsible for the frequency. Let me remind you that there are no problems in the Snow Leopard. I compared the ioreg of 10.6.8 with 10.7.2. Important difference is "NumFrameBuffer". In 10.7.2 it is "04" in 10.6.8 - "02". Maybe I need to have a closer look for some parameters? RevoGirl had the similar problem: http://revogirl.word...3000-artifacts/ The difference is that she corrected the DVI-connector. 0205 0000 0004 0000 0700 0000 to 0205 0000 0004 0000 0850 0000 But what is the 0700, 0850 ... is not clear. I can't ask her, as I can't find her contacts. Thank you for the attention.
  9. Hello! It's the third time I've installed successful the 10.10.5 without any problems but my graphics card (I guess is the GPU but I don't know) is having an issue. This issue is actually only happening me with the 10.10.5, previous versions are working perfectly so I don't understand what's going on. I've installed the NVIDIA Web Driver and apparently all is working without troubles but when I use the computer like opening Safari or Finder or anything my system freezes. Isn't frozen as you've to reboot, but it is every time I do something. So for example if I open Safari, the system freezes for 20 seconds (sometimes more, sometimes less) (and I can move the mouse), then returns to normal. If I click on the adress bar, it freezes again for 10 seconds, then returns to normal. So that's my problem. If I start with nv_disable=1 this problem does not exists, but then the gpu isn't working and all is very laggy. Hope you can help me
  10. Hi, I got full Acceleration on my Toshiba c850, I have attached my system report screen, system info and artifact screen. 11. Buenas! Mientras vuelvo a Windows... Un saludo!
