  1. Hello, it's me. So, I've been recently running into some problems with my graphics kexts, and had to reinstall. All because I didn't have a kext backup. And, because of that, I've decided if someone else runs into those problems, this can save them. I have copied the whole stock Apple Extensions folder, in case anyone here screws something up (I'm sure you won't). So, here is the folder (it's a zip file, just for compression because the dmg is 800mb): download. And yes, the dmg is 800mb, because for some reason I couldn't put the Extensions folder onto a 512mb one :/ As said by mendietinha, the version is 10.10.3. -- bsevcenk
  2. Can someone explain to me why myHack has a bunch of .kexts in its Plugins folder? It seems they are the same kexts I have in /Extra/Extensions. Looks like OSX prefers the versions in myHack.kext/Contents/Plugins - I thought that the preferred location for hackintosh kexts was in /E/E so as to be safe when running updates?
  3. Hello everybody! I'm excited to say I've started writing a personal assistant for the Mac. It's called Samantha, and it's very similar to Siri on iOS. For this to work best you should have OS X 10.7 or later with Speech to Text enabled. If you want it to sound like Siri, select Samantha as the Text to Speech voice. Some commands (as of beta versions) -Play Alone Together --Launch Mail --What time is it? --Google Voodoo Donuts --Toggle music (plays or pauses the music coming through iTunes) --What model mac am I using? And much, much more. I've also added the ability to write extensions for it, so you can add anything else I haven't. Just say "Example extension" and you'll get more information. If you like this or have some suggestions, please let me know. Samantha-Prerelease-1.zip
  4. Version 1.2

A shell script for rebuilding the prelinked kernel with 64-bit extensions and the info caches. Ideal for running after messing with extensions.
