  1. Hello Guys! I'm trying to upgrade my Mackintosh by installing Mojave on my Previous build of HP Z400 running perfectly with Sierra. I'm stuck at this error saying "macOS could not be installed on your computer" I've added the same kexts as before in my previous builds and I'm not sure why its also not showing my drives in Disk Utility. I'm thinking the error could be of because this, please let me know If I'm wrong. I'm attacking the screenshots please see these; also I'm adding my plist file its been setup using enoch bootloader. I was using kexts "AHCIPortInjector.kext" & "IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext" in my previous builds. But not sure if its working or not? as my usb is working either using these or without. Using SmBIOS of Mac Pro 5.1 and its working fine in previous builds. Please help me figuring this issue and suggest the solution for this error? I want to get this figured as soon as possible. Many thanks in advance!
  2. Hey all, I have a PC with the following AMD FX 6300 CPU Gigabyte 78-LMT-USB3 Mobo Sapphire Nitro RX 460 (4GB) Sierra is installed, and runs fine with these flags: UseKernelCache=No -f -v -x npci=0x2000 But if I try to use UseKernelCache=No -f -v npci=0x2000 Sierra freezes after DSMOS arrives Images: Safe Boot: Freezing after DSMOS: I'm using Enoch and Sierra GM (10.12.0) I've removed these kexts from /S/L/E pmtelemetry.kext AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext AppleTyMCEDriver.kext Kernel is 10.12.0 beta from Bronya, with /S/L/E/System.kext replaced by Bronya's copy. I haven't as yet merged the frameworks, but will be doing so in the next 10 minutes. Any ideas? What I've done so far: - Merged frameworks, no changes when booting normally, or in safe mode. - Updated FakeSMC to latest RehabMan build, no change when booting normally, or in safe mode - Updated SMBios to MacPro5,1 from iMac17,1. No change when booting normally, or in safe mode
  3. Hi guys...been breaking my head over this. I am not totally a noob at this but from the days of El capitan I am having serious headaches. I am running Yosemite on Dell latitude E6220 with intel HD Graphics 3000 and i5-2520M. Almost everything works except the onboard wifi card. Recently I have been trying to install Sierra on this PC since there are lots of tutorials for this same PC. However my case is not a success story. I am getting an error 2 minutes into the installation that Mac OS X sierra can not be installed on my PC. Yet the specs are okay. In some post someone was advised to change the SMBios to one that Sierra supports, so I uses Macbook Pro 8.1 which should be fine but I get the same error. Please know that after finding issues booting with clover I decided to use Enoch the latest release and it boots up smoothly to the installation screen but that error is killing me. I have changed hard drives still the same thing.Someone suggested that you have to enlarge the EFI partition but my system is using chameleon so I do not think I have an EFI partition. I am not a lazy person , I have read a lot but looks like I have hit a dead end.Anyone with anything I could try is more than welcome. Cheers
  5. Hi folks, it's been a while since I had to set up a new mackintosh for me but since my Mavericks system got screwed due an sudden power failure I needed new hardware and got a used i5-system from my uni. It's a HP Compaq 8100 Elite CMT with an i5@750 2,67 Ghz, 8 GB Ram, a Nvidia NVS300 graphic card. It has a HP motherboard from 2010 with the name tag "Infineon-C 505799-001". I installed El Capitan 10.11.3 with the help of a USB-stick and Enoch according to the install guide from user 'VoiletDragon' over at the tonymac page but was never able to boot the Mackintosh afterwards with Clover and decided to boot in in a kind of legacy way by installing Enoch 2848 to my Mac partition and putting the kext's for AppleIntelE100e, FakeSMC, and NullCPUPowerManagement in /Extra. I also installed VoodooHDA 2.8.8 from it's own installer. So everything was working fine and absolutely splendid in 10.11.3 However, I wanted to update to 10.11.6 and backed up my /Extras as well as all extensions from /S/L/Extensions. I installed the 10.11.6 combo update and replaced the Kernel with the patched kernel for 10.11.6 that has been provided by user 'VoiletDragon' in his install guide. I then fixed the permissions and did the reboot of the system. And the only thing that fails is the USB support which just doesn't exist anymore. Nothing, no Apple keyboard, no USB mouse...nothing. I only have full USB support if I boot by ignoring the caches ( -f ) in Enoch. Any ideas what I have to look for? Is there a patch somewhere or do I have to replace some extensions? If this might help to get closer to the problem I'm posting my .plist's here as well. Any ideas are more than welcome!! Here's my smbios.plist (just crossed out parts of my serial): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>SMbiosdate</key> <string>03/09/13</string> <key>SMbiosvendor</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>SMbiosversion</key> <string>IM141.88Z.0118.B00.1309031248</string> <key>SMboardproduct</key> <string>Mac-031B6874CF7F642A</string> <key>SMfamily</key> <string>iMac</string> <key>SMmanufacturer</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>SMmemmanufacturer_1</key> <string>Elpida</string> <key>SMmemmanufacturer_2</key> <string>Kingston</string> <key>SMmemmanufacturer_3</key> <string>Elpida</string> <key>SMmemmanufacturer_4</key> <string>Samsung</string> <key>SMmempart_1</key> <string>EBJ21UE8BDF0-DJ-F0</string> <key>SMmempart_2</key> <string>HP497157-C01-ELDW</string> <key>SMmempart_3</key> <string>EBJ21UE8BDF0-DJ-F0</string> <key>SMmempart_4</key> <string>M378B5773CH0-CH9</string> <key>SMmemserial_1</key> <string>A A F 1 3 C A 4</string> <key>SMmemserial_2</key> <string>A 7 3 F F 4 4 1</string> <key>SMmemserial_3</key> <string>8 5 7 E 2 2 D E</string> <key>SMmemserial_4</key> <string>6 6 2 0 6 B A 5</string> <key>SMmemspeed</key> <string>1333</string> <key>SMmemtype</key> <string>24</string> <key>SMproductname</key> <string>iMac14,1</string> <key>SMserial</key> <string>C02XXXXXF8J2</string> <key>SMsystemversion</key> <string>1.0</string> </dict> </plist> And here is my org.chameleon.boot.plist: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1920x1200x32</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>HDAEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>darkwake=0 dart=0</string> <key>KeyLayout</key> <string>mac-de</string> <key>SMBIOS</key> <string>/Extra/SMBios.plist</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>5</string> </dict> </plist>

Enoch boot hangs when KVM switch present

I recently installed a USB/DVI KVM switch to allow my AMD hack (see sig) to share a monitor, KB & mouse with my work laptop. In order to boot successfully, I have had to disable legacy USB in the BIOS, which makes it impossible to enter any boot flag/boot volume overrides. Once booting is complete, the keyboard works fine. If I leave legacy USB enabled in the BIOS, booting hangs after the "EHCI controller ..." message is displayed. What combination of boot flags and/or kexts do I need to allow legacy USB support and the KVM switch to play nice during startup? I am also testing Enoch Rev 2908 in preparation for upgrading from El Cap to High Sierra, and am having similar issues with that version (booting to an El Cap test partition). And, when booting with legacy USB disabled, the screen goes dark at the point of changing resolution, and the machine shuts down after a few seconds. Any help on these issues would be most appreciated. Thanks.
  7. Hello! I'm trying to install El Capitan on my Lenovo Yoga 300 but I can't even get any bootloader to show up after turning on the computer... I tried Enoch, Chameleon and Clover and neither of them works. My BIOS can't see Enoch USB, but sees Clover. Unfortunately, when I try to boot them I can see nothing... I tried Clover in UEFI only mode, with Legacy mode, but no success. Please help me! My laptop has Intel Celeron N3050 with Intel HD.
  8. I am on the process of changing bootloader, to clover, but am facing a problem. I installed it to an external SD Card formatted as FAT32 on MBR, and it booted fine, into the bootloader (after some trial and error). I then tried to boot OS X, during the boot everything looked normal, but when the desktop should appear, the monitor(s) went to sleep and I had no graphics. The desktop had loaded as I heard volume change sounds and the caps lock light worked. Everything works fine with chamelon but I need a clover for the appstore and updates. Here are my specs: i5-3570k Gigabyte GTX660 MSI Z77-MA G45 Here is my config.plist in (SD card)/EFI/CLOVER <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>SMBIOS</key> <dict> <key>BiosVendor</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> </dict> <key>Boot</key> <dict> <key>Timeout</key> <integer>7</integer> <key>DefaultVolume</key> <string>HDD12345</string> <key>Arguments</key> <string>-v GI=Yes</string> </dict> <key>ACPI</key> <dict> <key>DSDT</key> <dict> <key>Debug</key> <false/> <key>FixMask</key> <string>0x3031</string> <key>DsdtName</key> <string>BIOS</string> <key>Patches</key> <array/> </dict> <key>SSDT</key> <dict> <key>Generate</key> <dict> <key>PStates</key> <true/> <key>CStates</key> <true/> </dict> <key>DropOem</key> <true/> </dict> </dict> <key>GUI</key> <dict> <key>Theme</key> <string>MavStyle</string> <key>TextOnly</key> <false/> <key>Language</key> <string>ru:0</string> <key>Mouse</key> <dict> <key>Enabled</key> <true/> <key>Speed</key> <integer>10</integer> <key>Mirror</key> <false/> <key>DoubleClick</key> <integer>500</integer> </dict> </dict> <key>Graphics</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <dict> <key>Intel</key> <false/> <key>ATI</key> <false/> <key>NVidia</key> <true/> </dict> <key>InjectEDID</key> <false/> </dict> <key>KernelAndKextPatches</key> <dict> <key>AppleRTC</key> <true/> <key>AsusAICPUPM</key> <true/> <key>KernelCpu</key> <false/> </dict> <key>Devices</key> <dict> <key>USB</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <true/> <key>AddClockID</key> <true/> <key>USBFixOwnership</key> <true/> </dict> <key>PCIRootUID</key> <string>1</string> </dict> <key>RtVariables</key> <dict> <key>MountEFI</key> <true/> </dict> <key>SystemParameters</key> <dict> <key>InjectSystemID</key> <true/> <key>InjectKexts</key> <true/> </dict> </dict> </plist> Any ideas? Thanks! EDIT: SOLVED. Fixed by turning off GraphicsInjector in the bootflags. Still have full accelerationa and it detects my card.
