  1. Hey all, I recently just finished my first ever Hackintosh build and am extremely happy with it apart from one major issue.. The specs: Intel Core Skylake Processor i5-6500 Gigabyte H170N-WI-FI Motherboard Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16 GB Kit (8 GB x 2) DDR4 2400 Corsair 550W CS550M Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB Broadcom BCM94352Z DW1560 Wireless-AC 867M WiFi Bluetooth 4.0 NGFF M.2 Card (being shipped) OSX El Capitan (not sierra) NOTE: I'm using integrated GFX as I don't want to spend anymore just yet on a GPU but maybe in the near future! I followed ammulder's guide on installing El Capitan and everything is working apart from my Display Ports. I have a HDMI plugged in (top HDMI port on mobo) and works fine it's just when I have my other monitor hooked up using either the other HDMI provided or DVI port I get a complete blank display and my other monitor is still working as normal. I tried other guides, few different tweaks and even hotplugging but that doesn't seem to work. I also tried taking the HDMI out of the working port and inserting it into another HDMI or DVI and that doesn't seem to work either. Please help me as I would highly appreciate it and would love to be using this amazing build with 2 monitors instead of 1. Regards, Emphasising

  3. Hey fellow readers! I have a problem with my hackintosh. When I want to boot with dual monitors and I have both my DVI and HDMI connected I get many artefacts on both screens. When I boot with only my DVI screen I don't have any problems and when I connect my HDMI there aren't any problems at all. So it only happens when both screens are connected at boot. 4. Does the DVI port work for anyone running Snow Leopard or Lion on Dell D630 laptop in a dock? I can use the VGA port just fine but I cannot use the DVI port for another monitor. I have tried both - 10.6.8 as well as 10.7.5. Is there a fix for this?
  5. I have an Nvidia 750 TI with 1DVI 1VGA and 1 HDMI. I'm running clover and Nvidia Web Drivers. I don't see anything in Clover Configurator that I recognize related to changing the display port. Thanks in advance for any help that can be lent.

    Adattatore hdmi-vga

Ciao a tutti. Ho un monitor VGA quasi nuovo, se comprassi un adattatore hdmi-vga oppure dvi-vga ho la piena compatibilità? Grazie mille.
  7. Hi everyone! I installed OSX Mavericks some while ago, and everything was working fine with VGA Single display. I wanted to use double screen, so i got another VGA monitor. As GeForce 210 has only 1 VGA, 1DVI and 1 HDMI, i got a DVI to VGA adapter to my SECOND monitor. Firstly, i can`t make Mavericks to use the DVI monitor as second display, it will automatically be detected as the main display. (No problem, i can just change ports). However i have problems with the FIRST display (DVI). It doesn't mater which display it is, but i can't get it to work properly. The screen resolutions available in "Displays" in System Preferences do not match with the monitor's default. I am currently using a LG LCD 23' connected vía VGA Samsung 17' connected vía the DVI to VGA adapter. In this way, the LG monitor has FULL resolution working as the second display, the other one doesn't. Any solutions? Thanks
  8. Installed with Lion 10.7.2. My graphic card is Palit 560 Ti 1Gb. Everything works nicely except I couldn't get my 2 monitor to work. I've followed the guide to enable 5xx card and now I can set it to the highest resolution, but my 2nd monitor is unusable. My first monitor connected with DVI/DVI cable and so does the 2nd monitor. If I change the 2nd DVI/HDMI or VGA/VGA or VGA/DVI dongle, both of my display will be blank, until I unplugged the cable for the 2nd monitor, and the primary display will be available again. I've search through this forum and also tonymac, none has work so far for me. If anyone could suggest me something, I'm glad to hear. PS: I followed this guide and also this one which almost just the same, and both producing the same result. And I didn't use the ATY thingy as I figure I don't need it since my card is detected, just the display port are the one causing the problem. Thank you!
  9. Hello, I have problem with dual screen configuration on my hackintosh. I using HDMI and adapter from DVI -> VGA to connect two screens. My graphics card is Gigabyte Radeon HD7970. When I connect only one display (no matter is it hdmi or vga) everything works, but when I connect both, I get black screen. I tried to edit Framebuffer, but without results. In attachement you can find my clover configuration file with edited and injected via "KextsToPatch" framebuffer. config.plist.zip
  10. I installed iAtkos L2 to my PC with P55 as rock, and Zotac Gt 9500 GPU http://www.zotac.com/products/graphics-cards/geforce-9-series/9500-gt/product/9500-gt/detail/geforceR-9500-gt-512mb-7.html and the rest of config u can look in the sig. Everything works fine except when waking up from display sleep. If i have 2 monitors with DVI then when waking up the second monitor is not working ( not getting any signal ) and on the primer monitor i get desktop screen but with blue screen every 3 ! If i have first DVI monitor and second VGA monitor everything is working fine and the monitors are waking up properly. On system preferences / energy saver I only selected display sleep after 10 min! and the rest is unpicked Do you think i should instal Nvidia drivers?
  11. Hi, I have a 30" Apple Cinema Display, a DL-DVI to HDMI adaptor and a 2013 MacBook Pro. That's all well and good, but the resolution of the Cinema Display is topping out at 1280x800. If anybody could give me some ideas - as I'm stumped - that would be great, and your help would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  12. Hi everyone, After a lot of work I finally got Yosemite back installed on my PC. There is only one problem: I have 3 screens, 2 times DVI and 1 time VGA. The problem is that I'm not able to use the VGA screen in MAC OS X. when I'm booting into OS X my pc is using the VGA monitor, but when the boot is finished and I'm ready to enter my password the VGA monitor disconnects and one of the DVI monitors takes place as main screen. I'm hoping someone is able to help me, because unfortunately I'm absolutely out of ideas.. Would love to hear from you guys! Kind regards MrOfficer PS. Screw TonyMacx86! Got banned two times but had no idea for what. Now they don't want to un ban me, but I don't even want that anymore, you're my main osx86 forum from now on
  13. I'm trying to re-enter the mac world after a few years away and I am facing again an old issue I couldn't find a fix back in Lion. The problem is with my Zotac GeForce 9800 GT 1024mb ( mobo -> DVI | VGA | HDMI ). It works fine with graphics acceleration and all by simple GraphicsEnabler=Yes, but if i just plug in the HDMI cable to the card, OS X will freeze. If i shut it down and plug the HDMI cable and turn it back on, it will give me a black screen instead of the login prompt. My goal is to enable dual display with my monitor by DVI and my TV by HDMI. I've tried several things so far, there are times the black screen is replaced by a grayish screen, but no mouse pointer and no login prompt. If I connect HDMI alone to the TV, BIOS/Bootloaders messages show up fine, but the same thing happens at OS X login. I tried GraphicsEnabler=Yes in both Chameleon (2.2svn r2391) and Clover (v2k r2850 and r2890), same results. Tried DSDT patch from several guides, but I don't know if I did it correctly, because it simply didn't change anything and I can't boot without GraphicsEnabler=Yes. Also tried quite a few NVCAPs and display-cfg, no luck. I'm triple booting in this machine with OS X Yosemite 10.10 Beta 2, Windows 8 and Ubuntu 14.04.1, so if there's a chance to get proper ROM or NVCAP or whatever from these OSes, I'm good to go. Any help would be appreciated. Here are my ioreg dump and my patched DSDT: EDIT: Corrected attachments and added 10de_0614.rom. DSDT.aml.zip DSDT.aml.zip
  14. hi there, i am new to the forum but have been lurking for a while... i have a nvidia geforce 8500 gt (512mb) graphics card that i cannot seem to get working fully with mountain lion. ideally i would like to run two monitors, one from the vga port and one from the dvi port using a dvi-hdmi adapter. if i run a dvi cable directly to the monitor it works flawlessly (full resolution with qe/ci enabled) but i get nothing if i use the dvi-hdmi adapter and nothing from the vga port. note: it does work from the vga port and dvi-hdmi adapter when booting, but the screen goes black and i get 'no input' as soon as osx starts. graphicsenabler is set to yes no other graphics kexts have been installed it was a clean install of mountain lion my dsdt is attached system specs are as follows: motherboard: ga-p35-ds3l processor: intel q6600 core2 quad 2.4ghz memory: 4gb ddr2 sdram graphics card: nvidia geforce 8500 gt (512mb) 80gb ide hdd (osx 10.8) any help would be greatly appreciated :-) DSDT.aml.zip
  15. Hello everyone! I've been using the following hardware for some time now: GA-H77N-WIFI CPU: i7-3770 (LGA 1155) Video: integrated Intel HD 4000 via HDMI (About this mac: Reporting Intel HD 4000 1536MB) Storage: SSD Samsung 850 Evo 250GB Apple native support Wifi card (can't find the model at the moment) Presently I have 10.12.6 installed. I upgraded months ago to 10.12.3, and at that time, I had an old VGA monitor connected to the DVI input via a VGA to DVI adapter. The computer would start up and the resolution would be fuzzy. Somehow, I discovered if i unplugged the monitor and plugged it in, the resolution would fix. Since we left the computer on always, I didn't think much of it. I had posted about it and tried to see if anyone could give me an idea as to why it was doing it but no real answers came through. [sTILL NOT WORKING AT FULL REZ] Now, I discovered recently that Apple has said they don't support 3rd party adapters and VGA, so I upgraded to a new monitor: LG 25UM58-P 25-Inch 21:9 UltraWide IPS Monitor [THIS IS FIXED, THANKS!] I also upgraded to 10.12.6 before installing the monitor. The computer starts up using the usb install drive when i select my installation. But the video still looks fuzzy. I'm attaching a picture. https://goo.gl/photos/YsdM7KfE54WRE52D8 What do you think i'm missing? EFI folder attached. edited to include IoReg file. EFI.zip Send me gachovacho's iMac.zip
