Good Hackintosh Ringrazio @carbo178 e @friscos
  2. I installed a second hard drive into my Alienware M14x by replacing the optical drive with a caddy. I installed lion on the second hard drive, and it boots fine, but it's really slow after it boots. Sometimes when I click on anything, it just hangs for about 10 seconds then loads, but it's pretty inconsistent - sometimes its fine, sometimes it hangs. It's odd because I had lion working perfectly fine in the primary HDD bay, but when I move it to the optical drive caddy, it's slows down. I was having this same problem in Windows, but I fixed it by installing Intel's Rapid Storage Technology drivers. Is there some sort of equivalent Kext, or something else that I should be doing to make it work properly? System Information says it's got an Intel 6 Series chipset. I know the optical drive port is only SATA 1.5 Gbps, but I don't think that should really affect it as much as it is.
  3. The only kext being injected in Clover is FakeSMC.kext yet somehow VoodooPS2Controller.kext is running when I boot with clover and kexts from S/L/E are being disabled. For instance, my battery and hardware sensors kexts are disabled when I load from Clover but work when booting from Chameleon. I have checked every folder, there are no Voodoo kexts, is there a driver or something injecting Voodoo kexts in Clover, the only changes I've made is in the config file? When I boot with Chameleon all of my kexts from S/L/E are working fine and VoodooPS2Controller doesn't load (as it should). Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong? I have an Asus UX303LN and these are my specs along with my config file. i5 4210u 1TB HDD Intel HD 4400 nVidia 840m [disabled in Clover] FocalTech Touchpad config.zip
  4. Hey guys, So after a lot of a digging and reinstalling, etc, I finally got my hackintosh to work on my AMD. There's just one thing left . . . my Ethernet controller. No matter what I do I can't seem to get it to work. I don't have any wireless cards or anything, so my Ethernet is the only thing I can use for internet. I've tried most of the suggestions i could find online. Specs: AMD Phenom II X4 3.0 mhz 8GB RAM 1 TB Hard Drive (Windows) 1 TB External Drive (Mac OS X 10.9.1) AMD Radeon HD 6450 1GB On board Realtek sound card Broadcom BCM5788 On board ethernet controller Any help is appreciated, Thanks (sorry for spelling and grammar)
  5. This project is actually two years old, but despite the aging SATA standard, still current as an idea. And of course - conforming hackintosh different thinking. I invite you to my shop for a short film of the "Do it yourself" series.
