Hi, Help please!!! I have 3 vga moniters and I want to use at least 2 on my hackintosh. I use a dvi-vga adapter for my main display and I plugged my other monitor to the vga slot in the motherboard. This works in windows because I enabled "Enable Vga" in the BIOS. I tried some of the stuff on here http://legacy.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?t=46392 but it desnt work. I cant use the other dvi port because it is a different kind of DVI port. PJ_ posted a topic in OSx86 10.9 (Mavericks)Hello, i'm a new member and a week ago i managed to install Mavericks on my HP Pavilion. I did a new clean install, installed the bootloader, managed to install some kexts for the Power Management ecc.. but i don't understand why i've got problems booting without the usb always. With the usb boot everything seems to work fine, but when i reboot without there's always something wrong. Now i get the following kernel panic and can't boot without stick. (picture) (i read that maybe it has to do with the intelHD3000, but what should I do in order to fix this??) Thanks in advance. specs: 2,2 GHz Intel Core i7 2760QM chip HM65 RAM 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Intel Graphics HD3000
Hello, I am using the SerialPortX add-on for applescripts. Basically what I want is for the script to control volume on my mac based on output from an Arduino (thus the need for SerialPortX). The output from Arduino is sent as characters. As of right now, the letter "A" is sent form the Arduino to the computer to increase the volume and the number "0" to decrease Volume. The characters themselves can be changed, but I will need to add a few more characters to increase functionality (play/pause, next song, previous song, etc). I need help/the code on how to read the output from the Serial port. Thanks in advance set use_port to "/dev/cu.usbserial-AE01EC89" on idle if (get serialport list) contains use_port then set myPort to serialport open use_port bps rate 9600 data bits 8 parity 0 stop bits 1 handshake 0 if myPort ≠ -1 then -- check the port opened correctly serialport close myPort end if end if return end idle
