  1. Boa noite, Tenho placa Atheros ar9285 instalada e reconhecida pelo sistema porém a mesma não encontra nenhuma rede. O mesmo aprensenta mensagem procurando redes, porém nunca encontra nada. Alguém saberia me ajudar?
  2. My Dell Inspiron Mini 1012 is running on 10.6.6 and all the devices that were reported to work with this netbook do work...except Wi-Fi . I am at least able to see networks, but after I connect I get the Alert: No Internet Connection Message . I thought it might be just my connection so I tried to connect to another open connection without a wpa2 password (i heard those were iffy) and same thing . My router is giving off an N connection speed I'm sure (I have Fios Internet) . I have an Atheros AR9285 card . dev id 168c x 002b . I've been searching for solutions but I still cannot get this wifi card to be fully functional . I'll note that in system preferences it says Airport Self-Assigned IP and then the yellow ball right beside it. When I manually assign an IP it turns green but then the Airport doesn't seem to like the iP or doesn't accept changes and goes back to it's default IP.
  3. Hey InsanelyMac, I've tryed multiple times to install iAtkos S3 V2 on my K50ID, but I can't get the wifi nor the sound to work, no matter what kexts or DSDT's I use. Do anyone with this computer have some kexts, which actually works?
  4. Hi, I have an Atheros AR5B195 wifi card that actually works pretty good on Yosemite after a proper DSDT patch. The problem now is that the card can't seem to discover any network when the computer wakes from sleep. I have to restart the computer before the card can discover networks again. I used a DSDT patch to make it work. I have also tried some injectors found here on this forum and OSXLatitude but they did not fix this issue. Can someone please help? Thanks!

I have successfully installed OSX10.6.8 Snow Leopard into my 3 year-old net book MSI Wind U160DX msi Wind U160DX specifications CPU Intel Atom N570 RAM DDRIII 2GB display 10" WVGA 1024x600x32 Graphics Media Accelerator GMA3150 HDD 500GB Bus Controller Intel82801g(ICH7 Family) SMBus Controller Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller Ethernet Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8101E/RTL8102E Wireless Artheros ARG9285 Wireless Network Adapter Bluetooth Unknown WebCam Unknown Boot Loader Chimera v1.7.0 r1394 OSX 10.6.8 Snow Leopard with Legacy_kernel 10.8 I had very hard time finding the right kernel and kexts suitable for my MSI U160DX and finally found some of them. mach_kernel didn't work, it keep restarting. So I used legacy_kernel which worked great. There is no kext for the graphics adapter GMA3150. I had to modify the device-id and GMA950's kexts to get 1024x600x32 resolutions, but no QE/CI There are kexts for audio, ethernet, wireless adapter, but nothing for bluetooth and web cam I uploaded the necessary kexts that I used ,including some informations here. I haven't seen friends here mentioned about this model before. May be no one haven't tried installing Snow Leopard in this model, so I hope these files can help. enjoy.... Well the computer at hand, was up for a good price in the UK, all things considered it should hopefully work out after rebate at £375 but I digress as this topic is about getting Mountain Lion on the device. Try all sorts of methods to get unibe@st to work on making a USB bootable stick and get frustrated at it not booting. Eventually remove the HD from the Samsung Laptop and install ML 10.8.1 to it from another computer (GUID partiition) Install Chimera 1.11 to HD to enable booting from HD Boot From HD, lots of errors on verbose boot, so many graphics errors I can't remember them all. On one of them, string no 3 I believe and Graphics enabler off I get full QE/CI on my HDMI connected monitor but my internal laptop screen is blank/black. b)If I boot from the HD, the trackpad doesn't work. After finally getting a unibe@st installer working, I can boot from it and select it to boot the HD then the trackpad works. c)USB ports don't work aswell as a whole lot of other stuff. If someone could please assist me in helping to fix this laptop I would really appreciate it. Also I'm trying to get back into editing my DSDT, but I'm failing miserably so help is appreciated!   7. Hello everybody, I finally managed to install OSX on my MSI CR700x laptop. Everything (well, almost…) works fine, except for the built-in Atheros AR9285 Wireless Adapter, on which the 802.11n connection is not working at all. (it acts like a b/g adapter with the difference, that it doesn’t even connect to n-enabled routers, even when the AP is set to be compatible. (bgn or gn mixed mode) When I search for a 802.11n network, it tries to connect with DHCP, but after a period of time instead of connecting it gets only a self assigned IP.(169.XXX etc.) If I select the DHCP with manual IP-adress option, and enter an IP corresponding to the router IP (192.168.1.1XX), it says that it’s connected, but there’s no internet connection at all. Same goes for it when I try the whole manual connection. The encryption may not be the problem(WPA2), because when encountering this problem I tried connecting to our n network with disabling security, or enabling only WEP, but connection was still not working. When the router is set to b/g mode, WPA2 works like a charm. I’m using currently this kext: http://www.osx86.net...do=file&id=2031 (tried also a few(2-3) others but those gave KP or didn’t work at all.) Also, when booting in verbose mode, I get a message like this: "ATHR: unknown locale: 60" (this doesn't cause any KP or similar) I hope somebody could help to find a solution...Thanks in advance!
