1. Hey guys, I have a ridiculously convoluted issue. Take a seat. I am trying to use Logic Pro X on a 2012 Mac Mini I have, but I currently have Snow Leopard OS X 10.6.8, and will need to update to Sierra 10.12. However, I realize I need to update to a newer OS such as El Capitan in order to be able to update to Sierra. Except I cannot sign into the App Store. I am greeted with an error message along the lines of "this computer or device cannot be verified." So I did some digging and it seems to be because my Ethernet port and Wifi don't work. I use a USB Wifi adapter to get around this but now it seems like I finally have to fix it for good so I can get into the App Store to get these updates I need. In System Preferences > Network, I do not see Ethernet or Wifi listed. Only my USB Wifi Adapter and Firewire. In System Profiler > Hardware > Ethernet Cards, it says, "This computer does not appear to have any PCI Ethernet cards installed." I'm pulling my hair out over here to get Logic Pro X on this computer, that's all that I really want, and that's all I want this computer to do. If you can help, God bless your soul.
2. Greetings, I am attempting to get 10.8.5 installed onto a new system I am building, however after many unsuccessful attempts to load the installer, I have discovered the downloaded version I keep getting from Apple is 10.8.4 . 10.8.5 would be ideal, as I am using a Haswell based Core i7. Is there a way for me to patch my current install, and or, force the download from the app store to be 10.8.5? Thanks for any assistance!
3. Hi guys, I tell them that I have installed SL 10.6.2 and want to install the App Store. I have a HP 550 notebook with the following characteristics: Intel GMA X3100 Intel GM965 Chipset ICH DDR2 2GB RAM Intel Dual Core 1.74 Ghz Try installing 10.6.6 but I had problems trying to fix the graphics and I could not fix it. Is there any way to install it? And if I could help? Thanks in advance, a big hug.
е. начинаться он должен так: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> <... AttansicL1Ethernet.pkg.zip
5. Hello I have an (almost) perfectly hacked Asus 1001HA with 10.6.8, the only problem is, that App Store doesn't work. An unexpected error occurs when I try to log in. In IORegistryexplorer, I can see, that my ethernet is not detected as built-in, even though I tried Chameleon's ethernet built-in option. I also tried to generate an efi string for my ethernet card with EFI Studio 1.1, but I already had a device-properties string in c.a.b.plist and I do not what it is for, but if i remove it, or substitute it with the string from EFI Studio, the system will hang on white screen after the spinning wheels does its job. Oh, and I used NBI to install chameleon. Should I somehow combine these two strings? I would be very grateful for any help. I've attached the efi string I have in device-properties. efi.rtf

Vi ringrazio in anticipo.
7. I've installed Yosemite with #####, actually i'm using Chameleon. The problem is the next: I can't sign in with my iCloud account to sync my Notes, Messages, Calendar and things like that. I already tested a LOT of proceeds written on the internet, but no one worked. Note: I'm using a wireless adapter because here in my room do not have ethernet cable, and also hackintosh don't detect my ethernet card. I have FileNVRAM on the modules folder. org.chameleon.Boot <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>IGPEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>kext-dev-mode=1</string> <key>Legacy Logo</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>2</string> <key>UseKernelCache</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>DropSSDT</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>SMboardserial</key> <string>CK148614DB6F940D2</string> <key>SMsystemuuid</key> <string>a8dd17a0-cf10-4323-9841-29a9f08c1d49</string> <key>SMchassisserial</key> <string>CK129U13DB67</string> <key>SMserial</key> <string>CK129U13DB67</string> </dict> </plist> NetworkInterfaces <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Interfaces</key> <array> <dict> <key>Active</key> <true/> <key>BSD Name</key> <string>en0</string> <key>IOBuiltin</key> <false/> <key>IOInterfaceNamePrefix</key> <string>en</string> <key>IOInterfaceType</key> <integer>6</integer> <key>IOInterfaceUnit</key> <integer>0</integer> <key>IOMACAddress</key> <data> 6E4GG+gE </data> <key>IOPathMatch</key> <string>IOService:/AppleACPIPlatformExpert/PCI0@0/AppleACPIPCI/EUSB@1D,7/AppleUSBEHCI/802.11n WLAN Adapter@fd800000/IOUSBInterface@0/RTL8192CU/en0</string> <key>SCNetworkInterfaceInfo</key> <dict> <key>USB Product Name</key> <string>802.11n WLAN Adapter</string> <key>UserDefinedName</key> <string>802.11n WLAN Adapter</string> <key>idProduct</key> <integer>33142</integer> <key>idVendor</key> <integer>3034</integer> </dict> <key>SCNetworkInterfaceType</key> <string>Ethernet</string> </dict> <dict> <key>Active</key> <true/> <key>BSD Name</key> <string>en1</string> <key>IOBuiltin</key> <false/> <key>IOInterfaceNamePrefix</key> <string>en</string> <key>IOInterfaceType</key> <integer>6</integer> <key>IOInterfaceUnit</key> <integer>1</integer> <key>IOMACAddress</key> <data> ABWDB81d </data> <key>IOPathMatch</key> <string>IOService:/IOResources/IOUserEthernetResource/IOUserEthernetResourceUserClient/IOUserEthernetController/en1</string> <key>SCNetworkInterfaceInfo</key> <dict> <key>UserDefinedName</key> <string>Bluetooth PAN</string> </dict> <key>SCNetworkInterfaceType</key> <string>Ethernet</string> </dict> </array> <key>Model</key> <string>iMac14,2</string> </dict> </plist>

Problem with App Store

When I start my App Store nothing happens.. Its just gray. Tried to google my problem and looked att som YT videos but I cant find any answer. I run Sierra High 10.13.1 Tried to reboot computer but nothing new. Just wanted to say that to spare some time for some forum users.. Regards Marcus
10. Firs let me tell you how i appreciate this forum for all the help i got reading various post during my first USB boot and install, and how i probably wouldn't be here in your company without this topic http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293168-guide-how-to-make-a-bootable-os-x-109-mavericks-usb-install-drive-on-linux/ Since i didn't have working Mac on my disposal and i didn't want do download any pre-made distros. intro: So I've managed to boot and get to work ML 10.8.2 about week ago, App Store included. Only my graphics made problems: -integrated Q35 isn't supported and i had 64mb graphics displayed on "about this Mac" with no acceleration -with my Gigabyte nVidia GT220 it either shut down my monitor at boot or displayed 3mb or 5mb graphics on "about my Mac" when it was working (also without any acceleration - i had to wait for minutes to react if accidentally clicked on Launchpad or Mission Control) - NVEnabler didn't do the trick on this installation although it worked flawlessly in my 10.8.0 installation few days earlier, on same machine. I've tried making custom EFI string, removing NVEnabler and installing nVidia Web Driver but that didn't help either, so i left GFX string in my boot.plist and went for update to 10.8.5 from App Store. After update and reboot nVidia worked great (web driver and efi string, nvenabler removed) and is fully recognized by osx. problem: But now i can't make App Store to work. Before it was just matter of downloading OSxTools and EFIstudio, making Network string and IOBuiltin was showing "true",no problem. After this update it won't work whatever i try. Tried string, changing serial no, deleting everything and rebooting, changing place of string in boot.plist (it won't boot if Ethernet string is after GFX string), updating Chameleon… Nothing helps. If you have any ideas please tell. I'm ok since everything i need works (Audio interface, sleep and wake, graphics, ethernet) but it would be great if i could get App Store (and later iCloud and Messages) to work too. My PC is Dell Optiplex 755 Core2Duo E4400 nVidia GT 220 0GM819 motherboard 82801 PCI And my org.chameleon.Boot.plist <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GenerateCStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GeneratePStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1280x1024x32</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>darkwake=0 nvda_drv=1</string> <key>Legacy Logo</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>2</string> <key>UseKernelCache</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>UseNvidiaROM</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>VBIOS</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>device-properties</key> <string>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</string> </dict> </plist> Thanks in advance, Ljuba!
11. **FOR THOSE WHO'VE TRIED EVERYTHING TO LOGIN TO ICLOUD/MESSAGES AND CAN'T. USE THIS KEXT** http://cl.ly/3T2m2U2n332O ^ PlatformUUID.kext -------------------------------------- I tried every solution and combination to fix the issue. I could log into the Mac App Store and iTunes Store, however I couldn't login to iCloud or Messages account. I kept getting a message saying "This is an Apple ID but not a valid iCloud account." For some reason my Hardware UUID was causing a conflict and using the built-in UUID changer in Chameleon's boot.plist wasn't able to change my UUID either. This kext will force the UUID to change. Be sure to install it to S/L/E and not E/E. BEFORE: AFTER: Godspeed. PS - Thanks to Superhai for making this kext! -stell
12. Hey, I have a bunch of issues installing High Sierra on my new build. As far as I can tell the biggest problem is getting the correct MacOs Installer. The ones I have tried either don´t show up in Clover (no Installer icon), or keep looping when booting. • I have tried downloading High Sierra via my (El Capitan) MacBook Pro - but App store won´t allow me to download more than the small 19 MB version. • I tried signing up to Apple´s Beta program, but no full version of High Sierra is available there either. • I have downloaded via some "macOS High Sierra Patcher.dmg" I found - but the installer was corrupt somehow. • I downloaded a .dmg file from another source - but that version seems to be completely wrong (says the Installer version is 13.0.63 (1363) but I can´t find any reference for that installer anywhere, so it´s probably fake or corrupted) Can anyone help me find a source of an ORIGINAL, working, FULL version of the High Sierra Installer? Or perhaps tell me a way to download the full version from App Store? Either 10.13.2 or just the first version; 10.13.0 That would be a HUGE help! Thanks a lot in advance
13. I have a UX 31A ultrabook i5, HD400, 128GB SSD 10.8.2 ML Display at 1080p But my app store is not working:unknown error Problem is tht i dont have builtin ethernet and am using a usb adaptar for wifi. I also have apple USB ethernet adapter. But it is shown as IOBuiltin=False in networkinterfaces.plist I have tried multiple things. deleting networkinterfaces.plist and preferences.plist Generating hexid for usb host controller 1 where USB ethernet adapter is and inserting it in smbios.plist and boot.plist.
