1. Hey! I recently bought the GA-Q77M-D2H and as I come from AMD hackintosh I´m having some understanding problems: As I understand it the great success of ivy bridge is the native powermanagment support! Some sources tell that ivy bridge has PM working OOB while others say that AICPM needs to be patched, but nowhere is a tutorial on how to do this for ivy bridge! My second question is: The ALC887 normally needs a DSDT patch with layout injection to work properly! But on Gigabyte boards with Ivy Bridge chipset it´s told there is no need for DSDT patching at all, so how do I get a patched AppleHDA to load and run if I don´t patch the DSDT to inject the right layout? If someone could explain that to me or at least provide some links to tutorials so I can get it myself ( and I really like to do it myself ) that would be super cool Thanks!!

Volume Problem

I have decent sound and nice volume after installing apple.alc with ##### and then rebooting the machine, but after the next reboot is my max volume very low I can barely hear something from Spotify with max volume and on YouTube nothing. I have already tryed it to reinstall the kext a few times but after the second reboot is my sound always gone ... Someone any ideas ? Soundchip alc887 Hardware: i5 7500, Msi B250m pro vdh, currently using the GPU from the i5, (no Mojave driver for my 1050ti).
3. Hello! I've been trying to get this audio to work properly for a few weeks now, so far unsuccessfully. Here's where I'm at:I've edited my DSDT properly, I dumped my codecs and got my verbs, I tried to patch my own AppleHDA (but I failed miserably , so instead I downloaded one of two 10.8.2 ALC887 AppleHDA.kexts found on osx86.net, though I only replaced the binary, since I had already edited my layout and pathmaps and pin configs) With that, I boot and get a single sound assertion from AppleHDAController (I've noticed a few others triggered under specific circumstances: trying to change the sample rate or bit-depth in the Audio/MIDI Setup, for example) but otherwise AppleHDA appears to load properly. My IOReg shows AppleHDA and all its components loaded, it shows several HDAStreams, etc etc. In devices, I can see a Line-in, Speakers, a Line-Out and a Digital Out. If I connect my headphones to the appropriate port and try changing the output volume I get a single, relatively loud "POP" and then nothing. So, it happens the first time a sound would be output through the phones after being plugged in, basically. And I have tried editing everything I can think off, with no success. Either I break it and the Devices stop showing or just nothing changes. Attached are the a screenshot , the DSDT I'm using and the IORegistry. So far, the only "weird" thing I've been able to notice is under "AppleHDADriver", the "PowerProfile" has "CurrentPowerLevel", "IdlePowerLevel" and "MaxPowerLimit" all set to 0x0. I have no idea if this is at all related but from the symptoms it seems to me like it could be a power issue? If not, maybe someone else will have a better answer? Archive.zip
4. Hi! First of all thank you so much for taking the time to help me in case you do, it's something that I appreciate so much The problem that I have is that I can't find my Speakers in the Output Audio Section, and I also want to fix the sleep if it's possible. My specs: Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3P Skylake i7 6700K (HD 530) Active graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7950 3Gb I'll leave my DSDT in a zip file, thank you! DSDT.zip
