  1. Hello there, I can't get my soundcard to work on OS X Mojave. Everything else is working. Graphiccard work, LAN work, front camera work, ... I am on a Laptop: Wortmann Terra Mobile 1529H, Clevo W550SU1, 15,6" WXGA (1366x768) Intel Haswell HM86 Chipset, Intel Core i5-4210M, Intel HD Graphics 4600 8GB Samsung DDR3L 1600MHz Ram, Samsung 850 EVO SSD mSATA Toshiba SATA HDD, DVD Drive SATA Realtek RTL8111 PCI-E LAN Card, Realtek ALC269 Sound Card Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC3160 WLAN + BT (removed becouse I don't need it) OS X Mojave + Clover (4868) UEFI Boot Everything else which I can say about my soundcard is: Intel Haswell HDA Controller [8086][0C0C] Intel Lynx Point HDA Controller [8086][8C20] (probably HDMI sound?) Codec: Realtek ALC269VB Vendor Id: 0x10ec0269 Subsystem Id: 0x15585455 Revesion Id: 0x100100 Codec: Intel Haswell HDMI Vendor Id: 0x80862807 Subsystem Id: 0x80860101 Revesion Id: 0x100000 I have tried several things: Used patched AppleHDA.kext (one time a downloaded, another time I have patched that myself with Apple HDA Patcher 1.9), AppleHDA Enabler.kext, Lilu.kext + AppleALC.kext (but there I don't know how to use them, I have tried to inject with Clover but it doesn't work). So have anybody an idea to solve that problem (or had solved it already by himself)? With Lili.kext and AppleALC.kext do I have to just inject a layout-id or is there more to pay attention? In the github page about AppleALC.kext my codec is listet, but with many many layout-id's. I have tried like 30 or so but no solution. I dont have a audio output device at all in systempreferences. And in systemreport/extensions I see that AppleHDA are not loaded. I don't know what to do and hope that anybody could help me.

Grazie in anticipo Buona giornata :] dsdt.aml.zip

    ALC269VC on Sony VAIO SVE1512

Hi, I'm on OSX since 10.5 and 4 laptops to date, but this one is a pain. I have a sloppy, but working Clover based 10.11.1 on HDD, but since I just bought a SSD drive, I decided to start from scratch, looking for latest solutions. I found an excellent guide for similar device, but audio does not work. I do have a semi working patched AppleHDA, v2.5.3 by Mirone (attached), found somewhere years ago, but in the past I had some issues after wake (seems ok now) and audio through HDMI does not work. Thing is that apparently my ALC269VC is somehow a very rare thing manufactured by Sony, I can't really find any proper solution. I thought that someone could help me doing this properly once for all, using DummyHDA to persist stuff between updates. Device info: CodecCommander: ....CodecVendor Id: 0x10ec0269CodecCommander: ....Codec Address: 0 CodecCommander: ....Subsystem Id: 0x104d6900 CodecCommander: ....PCI Sub Id: 0x104d90ab Vendor Id: 10ec:0269 Subsystem Id: 104d:6900 Revision Id: 100202 I do believe that this ALSA report here has the same HDA codec information as my device (ctrl+f Realtek ALC269VC). Any support would be greatly appreciated, with beer donations. Cheers! AppleHDA-ALC268VC-2.5.3-Mirone.kext.zip Sony VAIO SVE1512M1EW - Clover config, DSDT, codec dump and IOReg.zip

    10.10.3 Broke my ALC269

Anyone else ran into this? I tried to revert to older kext but no success. 10.10.3 Installed a new AudioAUUC.kext so I replaced that first but still no joy. Asus k53e. Everything else is fine though.
  6. Hi, I`ve installed the VoodooHDA-v2.8.4.Lion.pkg for my Alc269 codec on a samsung notebook, both the internal mic and the mic input works great with autoswitching, the problem is that the speakers and the headphones port works but I have to change manually in System Preference also the HDMI output audio is not working. I`ve attached my pin config from regedit in Windows and also the byte flipped txt too, also the codecdump.txt made in osx. All nodes seems to be ok except for node 29 wich byte flipped is: 4014a205 Can I have some help with it? Some else have the same problem with the alc269 in notebooks? Thanks in advance! codecdump.txt pinconfigwindows.txt pinconfigwindowsbytefliped.txt

    ALC269 best approach?

Hi, I try to get a notebook working vanilla. I used clover and patched DSDT.aml to get it booting. Now I have power-management issues and sound left. Sound is more important for me at the moment. My notebook has following hardware: Realtek ALC269 @ Intel Skylake PCH-H lspci on ubuntu said: 00:1f.3 Audio device: Intel Corporation Sunrise Point-LP HD Audio (rev 21) id: multimedia description: Audio device product: Sunrise Point-LP HD Audio vendor: Intel Corporation physical id: 1f.3 bus info: pci@0000:00:1f.3 version: 21 width: 64 bits clock: 33MHz capabilities: pm msi bus_master cap_list configuration: driver = snd_hda_intel latency = 32 resources: irq : 128 memory : df120000-df123fff memory : df100000-df10ffff What would be the best way to install it? Is it possible to do it only with EFI/Clover or do I have to touch /L/E?
