  1. Okay guys, I've had much success in getting my Hackintosh to work thanks to all the work here and on Tonymacx86. However there is one thing I cannot get to work no matter what I do is sleep, and I've tried everything I know to do. I've been following this topic to get it done but it seems to be for other iterations of the ASRock Z68 chipset series and sadly not the Extreme3 Gen3. This is a great board and I know plenty of people who have it due to the price / features. At any rate, components: GPU: nVidia 550 Ti 1.5gb (Works great, fully supported now) CPU: Intel Core i5 2500 (no K, I kinda regret it, but I was on a budget) Mobo: ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 Bios Rev. 1.30 I'm using the latest Chimera bootloader, 1.9. Going to sleep works fine, and it stays asleep, waking up is the problem. Since the update to Chimera 1.9 it'll actually takes me back to the desktop upon waking but it freezes immediately. probing syslog via "syslog | grep -i "Wake reason"" gives wake reason: eusb. Uploading my DSDT Any ideas guys? I truly appreciate all the help I've received through this forum! dsdt.dsl.zip
  2. I upgraded my system, so trying to use older system at home. It's got GA-Z68AP-D3 i5-2500K Don't want to spend getting Graphic card. I clean installed Yosemite and when installing it with clover, the resolution comes fine without problem, however once I got to desktop after completing installation, HD3000 not recognized. tried bunch of solution from here, but all I can get is HD2000 with 7MB, thus not usable. I did have HD3000 working one time, but it was taking almost 5min to boot, then there were tons of artifacts all over the screen. Rehab man says DSDT patching is needed when using clover, did that, but did't help. So I am trying to boot with chameleon, but I get stuck at PCI configuration begin. (see attached pix) trying with npci=0x2000 or 3000 but same thing. So here is my dilemma, I can boot with clover but I get no HD3000 working, when trying with chameleon, I can't boot. Can't anyone help please?
  3. Hello, good people! I just successfully installed 10.8.3 on a i7-2600k/Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 (BIOS v. 10, "Touch BIOS") using a USB 3 external HDD and everything works just fine, except for one annoying thing: this computer have also Windows 7, installed on a RAID array using two SSD disks, and when i try to boot it from Chameleon, i get a "no bootmngr" message. I have to resort to hit F12 and change the boot order to access Windows. How do i solve this? RAID is not a realm where i really feel comfortable. Another question, albeit related to the first: if i clone the OSX installation from the external HDD to an internal one, will it be able to boot, despite SATA mode being set as RAID? Or OSX and Windows RAID arrays cannot share the same space? t! All the besr
