  1. Hi, after a few KP's i managed to get my fresh Mavericks 10.9.4 system working relatively smoothly, but i'm not really sure about Power Management, Speedstep, C-States,P-States etc and also Wake from Sleep is broken. (No video signal on wake). I don't really know about patching my motherboard etc. Couldn't find any pre-made patches. Also i don't really understand whether i need SSDT or DSDT (apparently not the latter for UEFI Mobo?) and I don't know how i test eg C-States, P-States etc or what I need them for. One thing that's a possible "issue" is the Corsair H80i, attached to the Mobo via mini-usb. there's no controller software for OSX obviously. When I had a 10.9 Mavericks working with Sleep, it would wake itself up immediately with GLAN EHC2. This may have been the USB connection on the fan forcing it to wake up but not sure. Currently though Wake is broken as mentioned, so I can't just test that issue by unplugging the USB at the moment) any advice & links would be gratefully appreciated. Presumably first step would be to fix the system to be able to remove NullCPUPowerManagement? thanks J Mavericks 10.9.4 (from App Store) myHack installer myHack AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement patch NullCPUPowerManagement.kext myHack TRIM patch kernel flags: npci=0x2000 dart=0 GraphicsEnabler=Yes Realtek81xx kext for ethernet (or might be using EthernetBuiltIn=Yes... not sure, as both present) Envy24 audio drivers for m-audio Audiophile2496 Chameleon NVFileRam kext for iMessage fix --- Motherboard: Asus P8B75-V (UEFI) CPU: i7 3770 GPU: Zotac GT210 Cooler: Corsair H80i SSD: Samsung EVO840 250GB
  2. Hi, I have all of my hardware (on my sig) working almost perfectly, what I do not have working is sleep/wake. When setting the computer to sleep, the screen goes black but the computer fans stay spinning. If comes of this "sleep" just fine. From what I've read it this might be fixable using a DSDT. The thing is I do not know if it is possible to use a DSDT with Clover or how to "create" one. Although I'm not computer illiterate I'm a little afraid of ruining my currently pretty nice system. Can I enable sleep/wake without the need of DSDT and using a kext instead? I currently have this BIOS flashed: http://biosrepo.wordpress.com/asrock/z77/ Can someone shed me some lights? Thanks in advance to all the community that's been so helpful since the beginning.
  3. Hello everyone, I got OSX Yosemite 10.10.3 running on the Acer Aspire 7741G with a few slight problems. I used the cim method from terminal to create the installer, then added clover to the usb, I extracted EDID with EDID viewer in windows and I am using custom EDID in config.plist and I am using Flicker as frame buffer atm, I did not fill in the number of ports. When I boot the laptop without or with HDMI connected everything is fine. I have QE/CI, without HDMI connect only on internal display, and with HDMI connected on both screens. The problems occurs when I connected the HDMI while the system is booted, or when I disconnect en replug the HDMI the same problem occurs, the colors on my laptop screen get screwed up, like a yellow colors and very difficult to read the screen. This problem also occurs when I enter sleep en wake up the laptop. sleep itself works, but also the yellow color problem is happening here. I think this got to do when waking from sleep the wrong frame buffer is applied. I am injecting the graphics from clover now, but I am thinking about going to try injection from DSDT since I also made a DSDT and patched it with the patch file found on www.olarila.com. I used this tutorial to get the videocard working. I hope someone can help me out.
  4. Hey guys! I had some oldish hardware lying around and have installed 10.7.4 Lion through the myHack USB installer. It was pretty painless. I then attempted to make some things work - ethernet, sound, etc. All fine with the right kexts. It was then that I'd discovered DSDT editing, and got quite excited. I was hoping that It'd fix some of my problems, and I'm pretty sure it did - I got the DSDT editor, downloaded some patches and applied them. BOOM! Sleep started working when I pressed the Sleep button. Not only that, but it would *wake up* from sleep at the press of a mouse button. Sound was fine, video was fine, using the built in eSATA ports was fine, USB was fine... There are only 2.1 issues left. 1. When I power the machine off, the light on my USB keyboard is still on. This light is *not* on when I send the computer to sleep manually. 2. The DVD drive I had in there originally (an ASUS DRW 2014l1t) would behave strangely most of the time - pressing the eject button would fling the tray open at a great speed, and then refuse to close. ... and the .1 of an issue, is that I'm not entirely sure which patches I've applied anymore, and which ones I should still apply - I'm not entirely sure how pimped my DSDT is. Accompanying this is a question - does anyone think that I can get my DVD drive to not be such a {censored} with an edited DSDT? Is there a way to get the USB keyboard and mouse lights to switch off once I shutdown the computer? Also, I'm reasonably confident that I've enabled the right C and P states for my CPU to step - but how do I tell If it does? Cheers for any input at all guys! I'll chuck in some files on request... 5. Hey guys. I recently installed 10.8.2 -again- and I got everything working including SpeedStep. But I can't make my PC to sleep. I use DSDT to enable USB ports. Here is the pmset -g assertions output. It shows that 2 processes prevent my computer from sleeping. But even after killing 'em it doesn't go to sleep anyway. When I try SleepEnabler.kext, I always get the same error: "Version mismatch between Kernel and CPU" My computer's specs: Intel C2Duo P8700 4GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GS Broadcom BCM4312 Please help me with that. 6. Hi, i would appreciate some help, after many hours I'm definitely lost. I have PCIe sata card with Jmicron363 chip which has both PATA and SATA ports. The SATA ports work with King's FIX for AHCI mode with AppleAHCIPort.kext and also the PATA port works with JMicronATA.kext. lspci looks like this: 0b:00.0 SATA controller: JMicron Technology Corp. 20360/20363 Serial ATA Controller (rev 03) 0b:00.1 IDE interface: JMicron Technology Corp. 20360/20363 Serial ATA Controller (rev 03) , but after the wake from sleep, it seems that the PATA port looses power (or maybe only IDE Timing) and is gone and only restart reenables the IDE device: 0b:00.0 SATA controller [0106]: JMicron Technology Corp. 20360/20363 Serial ATA Controller [197b:2363] (rev 03) 0b:00.1 Unknown class [ffff]: Illegal Vendor ID Unknown device [ffff:ffff] (rev ff) In _WAK method i store values back to SATA port (JM0) to reenable AHCI, maybe I only need to know the right values for IDE port, but I could't find JMicron datasheet anywhere. 7. Hello, First, here's my build: Gigabyte GA-H77M-D3H V1.0 (bios f9) 8 GB DDR3 RAM Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.09 GHz XFX Radeon 5870 3 SATA hard drives (OS on 1, RAID 1 for the other 2) Problem: I installed 10.8.3 vanilla using myHack, and then installed kexts to get my network and sound working. myHack also installed Chameleon 2.1 for me. (I would have asked the fine folks at myHack, but I did my introduction and still I haven't been promoted to poster status after a week and a half.) If the system goes to sleep it won't wake up. I disabled sleep and found that leaving the screen set to turn off worked, but it would only wake up if I press the power button, and if I leave it for an extended period that doesn't even work. For graphics, the desktop looks great, I get that splash effect when I drop a new gadget on the dashboard, and I can play videos. I tried to run Uniengine Heaven 4.0 just to see how it may handle games, but I got a black screen with a little corruption on it. I looked in the System Profiler and this is what is says for Graphics/Displays: Chipset Model: ATI Radeon HD 5870 Type: GPU Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 1024 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x6898 Revision ID: 0x0000 I notice that there's no Quartz Extreme or anything like that listed and if I understand correctly, it should definitely be there if everything is functioning properly. I'm confused by this because I thought this was one of those cards for which Mac OS has native support. Is there anyone out there brimming with awesomeness who could help me get these problems fixed? Much appreciated!
  8. Hi Guys I'm trying to get my ASUS X53E almost fully working hackintosh and need some one help to do powermangement. I'll explain what I did so far ..... Full specs can be found in this ASUS site link below http://www.asus.com/au/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/X53E#specifications I followed the tutorial from the below link up-to my installation. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/282471-asus-n53sm-mountain-lion/ For the post installation I used Asus Series Tool for Sandy and Ivy Brigde 2.0 from below OSX86 downloads link. http://www.osx86.net/files/file/3632-asus-series-tool-for-sandy-and-ivy-brigde/?st=20#commentsStart So far after doing above all steps I've got only these below list as working,, 1.HD 3000 Graphics (QE/CI) 2.Audio (Voodoo HDA) 3.Wifi (Changed Atheros to BCM4312) 4.Ethernet 5.Keyboard.Trackpad, Mouse 6.Function Keys (Volume, Brightness,Sleep,Display Off) 7.USB (2.0,3.0) These are my non functioning features list 1.Sleep 2.Restart 3.Shutdown (After shutdown fan and power button led still running) 4.Hibernate 5.Battery ( Always shows condition replace) 6.Function Keys (Brightness working (but no OSD), Wifi (turns off but can't turn it on back), and there is no On screen displays for any of the function keys except for volume) Below I'm attaching my Hardware Info and Dsdt files extracted from ubuntu live cd Ubuntu extracted DSDT n Hardware info.zip and also couple of dsdt files which I've got it from guides to try DSDT files got from guides.zip. Please help me with DSDT and power management,
  9. Hi All, I am currently running on OS X 10.13.1 (High Sierra) and everything works perfectly, besides sleep... I've scoured the internet for an answer but can't figure out how to force my computer to stay asleep (seriously, it's like an infant that's consumed too much sugar). Keeping the computer on 24/7 is wasting so much energy. Here are my specifications: CPU: I7-4790k (Haswell) Memory: 32gb DDR3 GPU: Nvidia 1080ti Gigabyte Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI Network Card: TP-Link Archer T9E (PCI-E Wireless AC) Cooler: Corsair H110i GTX (Corsair Link Connected to USB Header) HDD: 4 SSD's Other Accessories: Oculus Rift, C920 Webcam, Yeti USB Microphone Here are the Kexts/items I've installed into the computer: Clover (UEFI Boot Mode), Drivers (VoodooHDA V2. 9.0d10), 3rd Party SATA, FakeSMC, FakeSMC Plugins, 3rd Party USB 3.0, 7/8/9 Series USB Support, NVIDIA Web Drivers Boot Flag Here is the output of "pmset -g assertions": https://imgur.com/a/Zo4kG Here is what I've done so far: Changes Standby, Autopoweroff, StandbyDelay values Went to BIOS, disabled Wake on Lan Option Changed the darkwake settings to darkwake = no and darkwake = 8,9.. Cried myself to sleep out of frustration At the moment, I turned the hibernatemode to 25 and that seems to shut the computer down automatically. The downside to this is, I need to wait for the computer to completely boot up each time it goes into Hibernate..
  10. I have an ECS 945GCT-M3 Rev. 3.1 successfully up and running with 10.8.1. Everything works great except for wake from sleep. When waking my machine from sleep I get one of the following three issues: System wakes to desktop, but the system is almost completely frozen up. The mouse moves small amounts every second or so, then the system eventually becomes completely unresponsive and goes to a black text prompt. System wakes to a white screen. No mouse cursor, system is not responsive and eventually goes to a black text prompt. System wakes but monitor does not and system is not responsive. In the case of both 1 and 2 the text prompt displays: Kext loading now disabled. Kext unloading now disabled. Kext autounloading now disabled. Kernel requests now disabled. Then, eventually, the system reboots. DSDT: Specs: ♦ ECS 945GCT-M3 Rev. 3.1 ♦ Nvidia 8400GS 512MB ♦ Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 What's Working: ♦ Audio - VoodooHDA ♦ QE/CI - Native (add device id to NVDANV50Hal.kext and NVDAResman.kext and DSDT Nvidia desktop hack) ♦ Native SpeedStep (I think, I have no NullCPUPowerManagement.kext installed) ♦ Network - Added AppleRTL8139Ethernet.kext to IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ If anyone is able to help me get my system to properly wake from sleep, I would really appreciate it. I'll try to post some images of my bios settings in a few...

    Any solution to Sleep?

Hello guys. I'm using 10.10.3, but I have problem in Sleep. Whenever my system sleeps, it seems okay until I wake him. He start, lights all the lights, but the monitors continue with the black screen. Any solution for this? My system: Rampage IV Extreme x79 - Bios 4901. Core i7 3930k stock. Video: Asus Radeon HD 7970 DirectCU II Top 3GB. 16GB Ram. Fusion Drive. *Clover Bootloader Revision 3333 Thanks.
  12. Dear Members I have a Asus H87I Plus and it works really well and stable. I have an edited Dsdt which works good for the audio and Graphics. Speedstep is working on 3 Steps (Idle 8, Normal 31, Turbo 35). There is no Graphicscard in the System right now. The Problem with sleep is the computers shut itself off, but after 2 seconds it turns it self on again. It won't boot up instead it makes 2 on and off loops and then it reboots to osx. I already tried to turn off WOL in the Bios but it looks like this is not the Problem. Might im just totally off, but i couldn't find any similar behaviour in the internet. If someone has a Clue what might cause this it would be nice to get some hints. Greets System H87I Plus, I7 4770s, DSDT H87I.zip
  13. I’ve got one last problem with my setup that I’m really hoping you guys can help me get sorted. Under OSX, after sleep, the GPU idle temp jumps to what I would call an unsafe level. For starters, this GPU runs quite hot anyway, which I’m led to believe is normal. Some people say it can safely go as high as 105° before starting to damage itself… but yeah, there’s no way I plan on ever running it that hot. With an ambient temp of about 25° it normally idles around the 55° mark under both Windows and OSX. But under OSX, once woken from sleep (until the next reboot), for whatever reason the idle temp dramatically jumps about 30°, putting it at almost 85! This is still okay for this card, if it were under heavy load that is, but no way should the idle temp ever be this high. As far as I know, only one thing can be going wrong here. For whatever reason, once woken from sleep, the correct signals aren’t getting through to the card to tell it to adjust the fan speed as necessary. I’ve tried flashing the card bios (NVflash) to set a higher minimum speed for the fan – it was 30, I set it to 80 – but the problem there is that in both in OSX (and Windows too for that matter), the drivers seem to be overriding this limit. I can tell just from what I can hear that the fan is not at 80% power right now. I’d really like to know what sleep is doing to mess up the GPU fan speed and see if we can fix this under OSX. GPU: Nvidia Quadro 4000 MB: GA-x79-UP4 (Sleep enabled with SleepEnabler.kext) OSX: 10.8.2 Anything else I can post to help, please let me know. Cheers.
  14. Hi, I recently installed 10.8.2 to a USB HDD for a test install and I have some problems. I have installed MiniITX's GA-X79-UD3 DSDT.aml and AppleHDA.kext from Interim Ivy Bridge HDA thread and AHCIPortInjector.kext along with FakeSMC.kext NullCPU....kext, intel e1000 lan kext and SleepEnabler.kext. I get audio and can boot just fine with : npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=No. However even after installing sleepenabler i get white screen with unmoving mouse every time I try to get it to sleep, which goes away when i press a few times the mouse buttons or press the H/W Sleep button. I am on F11 Bios(the dsdt was for that version and have disabled USB3.0). Why can't I get it to sleep? Can someone share a DSDT.aml that would enable native power management? I want sleep to work so I can get my ATi HD7970 to work(enable OpenGL and Q/E).
  15. Good day everyone, After a successful Mountain Lion install i began to do a few tweaks to the system to achieve a more stable one. Everithing works except sleep, it goes to sleep, it wakes up, but the screen stays blank, no confirmation from volume keys. The fans powers on and that's about it. If i leave the system to enter display sleep. the screen turns on but it shows color noise for about a minute and then returns to normal. I tried everything from SleepEnabler.kext the mountain lion version, to BIOS tweaks but nothing works. This is the current system setup Mountain Lion 10.8.2 Installed with Chameleon. Asrock Z68 Pro3 2.10 IvyBridge Bios with power management modification from semisnake i3-2100 @ 3.10Ghz Corsair Vegeance 16Gb RAM @ 1600Mhz EVGA GTX 560 non-ti(Works OOB) Audio works ith AppleHDA and HDAEnabler from toleda Standard HDDs SMBios ATM is iMac 12.2 but i tried all of them with no luck. I added a DSDT file for the system but i don't think that's the problem. DSDT.rar Can there be anything that i'm missing? Also i get that stinking USB device is drawing too much power alert every time i power on the system, but i don't any USB devices inserted except USB apple keyboard and USB MagicMouse. Can that be fixed? Thanks a million!!!
Merci DSDT Patched & Original+IOReg.zip
  17. I flashed my BIOS with the latest 1617-modified BIOS from http://biosrepo.wordpress.com/asus/z77/. This allowed me to install 10.8.0 without any issues. With help from Rampage Dev, I got a working DSDT for the rest of the system functions to work fine. Before I installed the Extras Folder (that included the DSDT, org.chameleon.boot.plist and SMBios.plst) the sleep function worked due to the modded BIOS. However now that those files are installed the system will no longer sleep. What in these 3 files would cause that? Can I remove that part of the file to fix the sleep but not damage the rest of the fixed problems? Also as a note.. My system used to show that it was an iMac 12,1 but Rampage Dev changed the SMBios to show it as a Mac Pro 3,1. Could this affect the sleep function? Attached are the files that I installed if you want a look. Any direction would be great. Extra.zip

Help Needed: HP G60-440US DSDT patches

Hello I have installed OSX 10.8.5 on my HP G60-440US laptop. I have mostly everything working except GMA 4500m, Sleep, and Power Management. I am looking for assistance in patching my DSDT to enable Sleep (also via lid closing), Power Management, and possibly any and all suggestions about finding a kext that will supply resolutions for the GMA 4500m. I apologize in advanced if I am missing any information. Please let me know what additional information is needed. Configs: Intel Pentium T4300 (1M Cashe, 2.10 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) GMA 4500m Hoping to gain: 1. Native Power Management (via DSDT) 2. Sleep (via DSDT) 3. Lid Sleep (via DSDT) 4. Brightness slider in Display System Preference (via DSDT hopefully) 5. Working Kext for ML to support resolutions of GMA 4500M. I understand the QE/CL issue. Thank you. Update: I have been able to get LPC to launch via a DSDT patch. AICPM is also launched no kp's. When sleep is engaged I get a white screen with pointer. Also, I am unable to get any type of battery kext working. Currently have RehabMan battery kext installed but no battery reading. Just an X in battery icon. DSDT.aml.zip
  19. Hello guys, I have El Capitan installed on my HP G62. Everything works well, but my hack rarely won't wake (display sleep, ps2 unresponsive, USB don't work. At the same time Power button sleep indicator don't blinking (as if working). I've uncheck "Put Hard disk to sleep" & "Wake for network" in Energy Saver. What I should to do to solve this problem?
  20. Hi guys, I have OS X running on a AMD 7750BE with gigabyte motherboard and it is running pretty smoothly. However, I noticed that it gets pretty sluggish after it comes back from sleep. Does anyone out there know what might be causing it or have experienced this problem before? I would really appreciate any help. Thanks

    Sleep Issues!

Hi! I have this Asus 1201n netbook, and it used to sleep and wake properly before i upgraded RAM memory to 3GB - it had only 2GB then. Since the upgrade, these sleep issues are being very difficult to tackle: as i said, they began with the 3GB RAM upgrade - when i updated the system to 10.8.5, but kept the 2GB of RAM, it used to sleep and wake without a single issue. Now the screen will sleep (turn black) and the HDD led with shut down, but the power and connection leds will both stay on, as well as the fans, and i won't be able to "wake" from this state, having to resort to a hard reset (which is always damaging to the system in the long term). Curiously, auto-sleep is working, but will lead the computer to the comatose state i described, so i had to set computer sleep to "never" in the Energy Saver preference pane, to avoid being forced to hard reset the computer furthermore. Console won't help: no suspect messages! That's really awful. I was using the SleepEnablerUniversal.kext to get sleep working before the RAM upgrade. Since it seemingly became ineffective after the upgrade, i tried a lot of SleepEnablers, always getting the above described result. Any help to solve or at least isolate the cause of this issue will be much appreciated. Best regards!
  22. I recently updated my T520 hackintosh to macOS High Sierra, works great with one exception; sleeping/waking. I've noticed that if I have the bluetooth switch on the laptop turned on, it'll kernel panic when waking from sleep mode, otherwise it'll work fine. Any suggestions for getting sleep mode to work with bluetooth being turned on? It used to work in Sierra.. Ill attach a copy of the kernel panic that seems to occur. Note: I get the same result with darkwake=0
  23. I've been running my hackintosh for about 3 weeks now and have gradually managed to fix all of my issues except for one... my main audio dies if my system falls asleep. Mobo: ASUS Z170 Pro CPU: i7-6700k Codec: ALC1150 GPU: MSI GTX 970 4GD5T OC OS: 10.12.4 I've tried pretty much everything to fix this. Codec Commander doesn't seem to do anything and any/all of the apps that are supposed to reset my audio just crash it instead and wipe everything from my output list. I use the green output for my main audio, but it's worth noting that even after sleep, I can still get audio through my Display Port/Monitor. It's just the one I actually use that doesn't work. Attached: Copy of my IO Registry CodecCommander I'm using My EFI/Clover/config.plist iMac.zip CodecCommander.kext.zip config.plist.zip
  24. Hello as the title says how do you patch sleep on Gigabyte GA-0B75M-D3H? Now what happens is it "seems" to go sleep fine but when I try to wake it I hear all the fans and everything waking up but the screen remains blank (and yes my moniter; HDTV in this instance si on and set to the right input). My specs are: CPU: Intel Pentium G2030 3.00 GHz Motherboard: Gigabyte Ga-B75M of course have you been reading this post? Video Card: Zotac GeForce GT 220 1GB VRAM RAM: 4GB 1600 MHz Kingston Hard Drive: WD 10EZEX Creator and maintainer: eHack Extreme (Me).
  25. I have AMD-hack (see in my signature) and getting in boot log messages like this 07/11/15 10:10:14,000 kernel[0]: USBF: 0.997 AppleUSBEHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep System Profiler in USB section tells me USB is in Expansion Slot. So I cannot use sleep on this hackintosh. When I try inject clock-id with clover, I have USB marked as built-in, but mouse and keyboard does not work (I can only connect to my hack via TeamViewer or VNC to test sleep and get information) As I understand, I can use old IOUSBFamily.kext for 10.8.5 system, with forced sleep capability. But it seems to me not good solution. And that driver conflicts with GenericUSBxHCI.kext, so I can't use USB3.0 ports on my mobo. Is there any other way to force sleep capability for USB2.0 in 10.10.5 system? It is better if solution will be compatible with clover bootloader (I'm using v3270 now).
