2. Hey guys, I could really use some help. I am trying to do the user-dsdt through #####, but I could not find a DSDT for my system. So I extracted the DSDT through terminal. The issue I am currently having is that I cannot boot my HDD to start my Hackintosh. If i boot from my USB it works fine (have to put in code cpus=1 to run effectively), but trying to boot from HDD just gives error boot failed and takes me to the boot list. I am also experiencing issues with being able to sign into messages. Wi-fi doesnt work, but that seems to be the general consensus. I have solved the resolution issue thanks to a a plugin, audio with voodoo. Can someone possibly attempt to patch the DSDT. I have attached a pdf of the system info from toshiba. Thanks in advance guys. dsdt 2.zip

5. Hello friends! I have installed kext AppleHDA.kext patched from Patcher 1.1(thanks for patcher ), and also patched config.plist, by this method I got sound working, but microphone still doesn't working . Please help me to get microphone working. Thank you! OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 Asus K52F Intel Core i5 M480 Intel HD Graphics Conexant CX20585 ---------------- How to fix? ok, now the only problem was in platforms.xml.zlib (applehda.kext>resurces>platforms.xml.zlib) 1.open applehda.kext>resurces 2.convert file platforms.xml.zlib to platforms.xml (convert with special program Zlib xml convertor) 3.open this xml file with plist edit program 4.open root>CommonPeripheralDSP 5.delete 12,13,14....22 lines (1>11 = speaker lines, 12>22 microphone lines) 6.save file 7.convert file platforms.xml to zlib 8.install edited applehda.kext and rebuild cache don't understand or any problems? write me PM
6. Over the past month I've come across multiple postings about this, but really wanted to begin to dig deep to try and understand what the next steps, if any, could be in solving this scenario: Getting El Capitan running semi-stable on X99 with a 5960X 8-core Processor. I think that there are plenty of us out there based on passed posts/responses by Stinga11 (respect), Rampage Dev (respect), and even heavy hitters getting involved such as Pike R. Alpha, Toleda (respect respect) etc... So I myself am NOT a coder, programmer or UNIX guru BY ANY MEANS, but can follow directions well and am open to helping in any way I can. I'm hoping this thread will attract those than can actually do some good for 5960X users. From what I understand it's the fact that the rollback AppleACPIPlatform.kext from 10.9.5 is causing the issue and cannot be prelinked with the current El Capitan kernel. Does this mean we have to wait for Apple to add support for X99/C612 chipsets? Anyone with insight on this issue from a technical perspective would be greatly appreciated by any/all 5960X owners.

9. I did in my dsdt application of the RehabMan patch for brightness correction in AppleBacklight.kext but what happens and the brightness works but my internal screen of the laptop stays with the image with a transparent white background barely can see the image, but I do the shine and it works and it's just a problem in the image, I do not know why this happens, thanks. 10. Has anyone managed to boot into Mavericks without the need for NullCPUPowerMangement.kext? I'm still having difficulty being able load 10.9.0 without it. I'm have manually patched my AppleRTC and I'm using a patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext. I am also using a personalized SSDT made for my system. Other than that, I don't know what else is needed to accomplish this in Mavericks. I have successfully booted into 10.7.4 and 10.8.5 without NullCPUPowerMangement with the essentials described above. Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
11. Today I want to say about new method which allow to not take care of loss of sound after each update. Let's recollect what AppleHDA demand from us. 1) To create device of HDEF in DSDT in which made necessary Layout 2) Binary patch of AppleHDA 3) Entry of PinConfig in plist of AppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver 4) Entry of description of input/output to layoutXX.xml.zlib 5) Entry of necessary nodes to Platform.xml.zlib. And of course all of these parts are changed while updating is going on. Here we go. Patch is made by bootloader. And three or four patches are necessary for it. Let's look at my case for ALC670 from Mavericks(use Property Plist Editor to see correct values). For the case of Clover(XPC and bareBoot also should do so) <key>KextsToPatch</key> <array> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>Patch_to_ALC670</string> <key>Find</key> <data>hAjsEA==</data> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data>AAAAAA==</data> </dict> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>Patch_to_ALC670</string> <key>Find</key> <data>eG1sLnps</data> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data>em1sLnps</data> </dict> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>Patch_to_ALC670</string> <key>Find</key> <data>hBnUEQ==</data> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data>cAbsEA==</data> </dict> </array> 8408ec10 -> 00000000 without it my codec doesn't work at Mavericks at least 786d6c2e7a6c -> 7a6d6c2e7a6c bin-patch to change ApppleHDA xml->zml(This idea was suggested by abxite) 8419d411 -> 7006ec10 bin-patch for my ALC670. After that we go to the /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext/Contents/Resources and make so layout65.xml.zlib->layout65.zml.zlib Platforms.xml.zlib->Platforms.zml.zlib And what we have. Bin patch, Invariable layout and Platform. And what about PinConfig which is disposed in AppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver. It is also not hard. 1) We should create simple kext ALCXXX.kext which should contain plist like AppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver(See sample of ALC670) My pinconfig is placed at thirteenth array of AppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver(ALC885->ALC670) 2) Or you can add necessary information to the plist of FakeCMS Here is sample of it http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/290092-how-to-patch-applehda-with-the-help-of-bootloader/?p=1929163 ALC670.zip Property List Editor.zip
12. I have successfully been able to boot into 10.7.4 with my 660/680 GPUs, surpassing many KPs by finding solutions online but the resolution is in VGA mode which is depressing (lol, not really). From what I know, Apple doesn't plan on supporting older OSs with the newer hardware, so I am asking the help from the hackintosh community to lead me to a patch that would allow me to utilize the native resolution of the GTX 6XX in Lion. Any useful help is appreciated, thanks.

A native AML compiler and IDE for OS X, with syntax coloring, tree navigation, automated patching, online patch file repositories, and iASL binary updates. Written entirely in Cocoa, conforms to OS X guidelines. Нативный IDE для OSX, содержащий AML компилятор, с возможностью подсветки синтаксиса, навигации по древу, автоматического патчинга, онлайн репозиториев с файлами готовых патчей и обновления исполнительных файлов компилятора iASL. Написан полностью на Cocoa, соответствует основным принципам OS X. Features / Возможности : Syntax Coloring / Подсветка Синтаксиса Live tree navigation / Удобная живая навигация по древу Native OS X autosaving and restore / Нативное для OS X автосохранение File patching / Патч файлов Online patch file repositories / Репозитории с файлами готовых патчей Updatable iASL binary / Обновляемый(-ые) исполнительный бинарник iASL Customizable text and layout / Настраиваемый текст и разметка Compiler summary and hinting / Сводка компилятора и подсказки This build from Developer branch and includes a small patch in the source code to correct displaying the number of errors / warnings / remarks in the Summary window. There is still a bug in the official version from Developer's site, leading to the empty Summary window. This version of MaciASL contains the 3 different versions of iasl compiler: 20110623-64 [4.0a], 20140926-64 [5.1] и 20150930-64 [6.0]. 20110623 was the last version that supports ACPI 4.0a specification and it is introduced here as "legacy" compiler for 4.0 spec. 20140926 is introducing 5.1 spec. and can be selected in 5.0a option. It is introduced here for support of opening AML files in legacy ASL code (not ASL+). 20150930 is the last for that moment, which is providing ACPI 6.0 spec. and supporting C-style symbolic ASL+ code. Can be selected in option 5.1. The compiler can be updated to officially compiled version from ACPICA by simple replacement of /Contents/MacOS/iasl* Это билд из линейки Разработки с небольшим патчем в исходниках для корректного показа всех ошибок / предупреждений / ремарок в окне Summary при использовании современных компиляторов iASL.
14. Hey! I where wondering if anyone can help me with the HP Z840 DSDT and "Apple Fy" it. I attached the origin.zip in this post ( Clover F4 dump ) --- I belive the key to get HP Z840 is in the DSDT, as I just for fun, tested a DSDT file ( added it to patch in Clover ) from the super micro x10dai motherboard, since its based on the same Intel C612 Chipset. and it booted. // Shock I managed to get OSX on the Z840, Network, USB and RAM is working. GPU is not working ( well it runs, but nvidia drivers gets all black and if it stars then it reboots) I know that DSDT files is not suppose to run / cross like it did now, so I where a bit suppriced. --- That´s why it would be awesome if some of you have a simple rename / patch that might get this to work, so I dont use the original DSDT file from a x10dai motherboard ^^ origin.zip

16. Hi i have a card with the the vendors ALC 271X & ALC 269 i don't sure about this because in linux dump it shows ALC 271X but in the AppleHDA Patcher it shows ALC269, i have tried to patch my vanilla (original?) AppleHDA.kext with many versions of ALC 269 but i won't get it working, now i've tried the AppleHDA Patcher 3 with the ALC271X but the audio still not working. My Laptop is a Aspire M5 481PT 6851 The OSX is El Capitan 10.11.6 I've tried to install many versions of VoodooHDA.x.x.x.pkg but it says Installation Failed! in the config.plist i'm using the Device>Audio>Inject>3 the codec dump is attached. i'm since glad codec_dump.txt
17. I need a basic guide/directions on how to patch my DSDT so my display is detected as an original iMac 12,1 display screen. I know I'll have to put something in the GFX0 portion here, but I'm not sure exactly what: Device (GFX0) { Name (_ADR, Zero) Name (_SUN, One) Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x1E) { "AAPL,slot-name", "PCI x16", "@0,compatible", Buffer (0x0B) { "NVDA,NVMac" }, "@0,connector-type", Buffer (0x04) { 0x00, 0x08, 0x00, 0x00 }, "@0,device_type", Buffer (0x08) { "display" }, "@0,name", Buffer (0x0F) { "NVDA,Display-A" }, "@1,compatible", Buffer (0x0B) { "NVDA,NVMac" }, "@1,connector-type", Buffer (0x04) { 0x00, 0x08, 0x00, 0x00 }, "@1,device_type", Buffer (0x08) { "display" }, "@1,name", Buffer (0x0F) { "NVDA,Display-B" }, "NVCAP", Buffer (0x18) { /* 0000 */ 0x04, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x03, 0x00, /* 0008 */ 0x1C, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x0A, /* 0010 */ 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 }, "VRAM,totalsize", Buffer (0x04) { 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x80 }, "device_type", Buffer (0x0C) { "NVDA,Parent" }, "model", Buffer (0x13) { "GeForce GTX 550 Ti" }, "rom-revision", Buffer (0x0F) { "" }, "hda-gfx", Buffer (0x0A) { "onboard-1" } }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } } Anyone help me with this?
