3. Help Ive had successful hackintosh builds since Mountain Lion. Ive had Mavericks. Now im running Yosemite DP2 (Installed DP1 w/ 1.0 update from app store) My problem is Ive always used a spare rooted/rom android phone (no added software to Mac/Android needed) as my WiFi Tether and its worked fantastic. Now its a craps shoot. I'd say 50% of the time it freezes and reboots. Itll show the Kernel Panic if i boot verbose but its so quick i never can read it. If i boot the computer with the phone unplugged. plug it in, turn on tether it works mostly, but if the computer goes to sleep and i turn it back on after it wakes up it will panic if i turn on tether. if i boot up with it plugged in it might panic. Everything about it is random. I feel like ive developed a pretty great understanding of building hackintosh and editing things, but im not great. I am posting this on HoRNDIS' website, but i cant be the only one with this problem. Hoping someone with more knowledge can help. I did NOT use any Tony OS X Tools on this build. i3 2100 - ATI HD6850 - ALC889 Used KextWizard to install Kexts - current FakeSMC, AppleHDA, HDAEnabler1 (Ive had it functioning off of DSDT in Mavericks, but Ive only had success with Enabler. probably user error. but i dont really mind. All audio ports work @ 96khz) DPCI Manager to create DSDT.aml Any help is appreciated. If Im missing needed info lmk. Thank you
4. Hi everybody! I need help, please. Trying to install 10.8.5 ML with Clover on Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2V Celeron G555 ASUS GeForce GT610 Clover installed on USB for UEFI systems. Kexts added: FakeSMC, NullCPUPowerManagement, RealtekRTL81xx When I choose to install OS X in Clover bootloader it return me kernel panic (screenshot attached)
5. Specs: i7 3770k MSI Z77A-G45 GTX 470 32GB 1600mhz I've been trying to get OSX to run with this setup. However I could not get the Nvidia drivers to work despite having everything setup correcty. My main issue is that I could not boot into OSX without using nv_disable=1. Now I decided to do a fresh install without my GTX 470 and see if I can just get the integrated graphics going. I managed to install everything and I got 1080p enabled and OSX sees my Intel Graphics 4000 which it was unable to do before. Except it's showing it as only 7mb of vram? Anyway I decided to upgrade to 10.10.4 and see if I can get the Nvidia drivers to work again. After upgrading I am now hitting this panic screen with the kernel extension backtrace com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement. I used the Hackintosh.Zone installer for Yosemite. I used ##### after that and ran the ##### settings then enabled FakeSMC and a few other things. It all seemed to work okay but the mouse was super laggy, there was graphics bugs everywhere. The taskbar on windowed applications would disappear spontaneously. I am trying to just boot into osx and tried -x -F- f -GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No and it doesn't boot. I get the same PowerManagement panic each time. Any ideas on how to fix this? Could someone assist with this? Thanks!
6. Im stuck at what appears to be a waiting on root device panic. The verbose log all of sudden stops and then the screen scrambles after a few seconds, but if you look at the bottom, waiting on root device seems to appear after the scramble. It boots to that point and then stalls and gives a prohibitory sign. I have loaded the USBInjectAll.kext, GenericUSB, and multiple others with no success. Also, included the replacement for EHC through clover in my DSDT. However, I can only access the OS, by pulling the SSD it is on and placing it in a mac, then mounting it as an external. Is there any other way to get a DSDT through the windows laptop if I cant even load into the MAC OS? If not, then I assume my patched dsdt is flawed to begin with because its not being used with the non macbook pro hardware. Ive been at this for days and cant get past the USB panic. My current clover folder is here (https://www.dropbox....CLOVER.zip?dl=0) I was able to get to the mac os x install for el capitan using this clover folder (https://www.dropbox....nstall.zip?dl=0), but its worth noting that my SATA SSD does not show up there, so I ended up installing 10.11.3 by moving the SSD to the macbook pro and loading it as an external. This is the model computer/hardware (http://www.amazon.co...ailpage_o02_s00). I previously was successful in installing 10.10 on a G751, but it would be great if I could succeed on the 752 generation with skylake. Any information that might point me in the right direction would be appreciated. Also, it would be great if someone could consolidate all the information in this forum into one set of directions as it seems things have changed since the initial post in 10.11 resulting in a lot to sift through to just even test solutions. Thanks.
7. After two days without a hickup, i had to reboot 3 times to get into my OS. After the 1st attempt it shut down when booting into El Cap, then rebooted again and after Clover it gave me the "Your Computer shut down because of a problem" msg. After two more attempts i managed to get into El Cap and it gave me a msg: You shut down your computer, would you like to reopen he prg. you used last?" I also got a crashreport, but i'm not knowing where to look for the error/problem, so i hope maybe someone is so kind and able to tell me what i have to look for. CrashReport.txt config.txt
8. Hi all, Thanks to some of the wonderful guides here, I've gotten most of my machine working. One of the things that aren't working is the WiFi module on my motherboard. If I disable the module in the BIOS, everything goes smoothly, but if I enable it, this appears: http://imgur.com/ylYix1I Additional Information: Motherboard: Rampage IV Black Edition CPU: i7-4930k GPU: R9 290X Operating System: OS X Yosemite Beta 3 installed with Clover I've installed the following kexts: AppleIntelE1000e FakeSMC GenericUSBXHCI VoodooTSCSync I've also installed the two SSDT's from rampagedev which are related to my motherboard and my CPU, removing or adding the SSDT's don't appear to affect the panic: SSDT.aml for my Rampage IV Black Edition with AMD Graphics: https://www.dropbox.com/s/p78osq4j5l668gb/SSDT.aml?dl=0 SSDT-1.aml for my 4930k stock CPU: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wjg4ika9prakmey/SSDT-1.aml?dl=0 Please tell me if I can provide more information to help you help me!

10. So I recently made a bootable USB with OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 on it. I didn't change anything on the USB. I just formatted it under Disk Utilities, made a bootable USB with ##### and that's it. I put the USB in one of my USB-ports of the PC and I boot directly from the USB in UEFI-Bootmode. Coming in the Bootmenu I choose the USB to boot from. The Apple logo comes for like 4-5 seconds. After that the following message pops up at the upper display: "panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff8004d1caa6): „zone_init: kmem_suballoc failed“«Library Caches com.apple.xbx Sources xnu xnu3248". Just some miliseconds later it reboots. I changed almost everything. I booted with "nv_disable=1" "-x" "-v"... Here's a video how it looks like. I recorded it so yeah... My Specs: CPU: Intel i5-4460 @ 3.20 GHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 RAM: 1x8GB DDR3 Motherboard: Medion H81H3-EM2 (I know. Self-build PC is better...) In the BIOS i just turned off Intel Virtualization Technology and choose UEFI-bootmode. That's it...
11. Hello, i'm a new member and a week ago i managed to install Mavericks on my HP Pavilion. I did a new clean install, installed the bootloader, managed to install some kexts for the Power Management ecc.. but i don't understand why i've got problems booting without the usb always. With the usb boot everything seems to work fine, but when i reboot without there's always something wrong. Now i get the following kernel panic and can't boot without stick. (picture) (i read that maybe it has to do with the intelHD3000, but what should I do in order to fix this??) Thanks in advance. specs: 2,2 GHz Intel Core i7 2760QM chip HM65 RAM 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Intel Graphics HD3000

My hardware specs: 1 x HDD Caviar Blue 500 GB 1 x Nvidia GT 730 (4GB - HDMI) 1 x 8 GB RAM 1 x Intel Core i3 (2100) - Graphics Onboard (Not connected): Intel HD 2000 PS/2 Mouse and Keyboard I attached the kernel panic error message below. 13. I've been trying to setup Niresh Mavericks on my HP 15-r17ca notebook. The setup works fine with the flags "xpcm-free", and "cpus=1" but on start up I get a kernel panic (picture below). Just wondering if anyone knows what I can do to fix this problem. Update: Booting in safe mode works. In verbose mode it keeps repeating that AppleSmartBatteryManager failed. Update 2: I reinstalled without checking enable battery percentage and now it doesn't panic. It does get stuck at something about Bluetooth though. (Image 2)

Kernel Panic in Safe Mode

Hey guys! I somehow received this kernel panic upon boot. It happened after I removed NullCPUPowerManagement because I wanted to enable Native CPU power management. I was using a .aml file and it was in the /Extra folder. Unfortunately, I cannot even boot into safe mode to delete the file and put the NullCPUPowerManagement.kext file back. I get this kernel panic. Any ideas? Thanks. Larger Image:
15. Hi guys, I need help. I have an ATI Radeon HD 4650 (9498) graphics card. I've been trying to get QE/CI enabled but I keep getting a kernel panic after editing the "ATIRadeonx2000" Kext. I tried on both 10.6.2 and 10.6.3. I used the 10.6.2 framebuffer, support, and 4600 controller. I tried many different bootloaders and options. I had it working once but then had to do a clean install because of a kernel panic caused from my audio kext. Any ideas? Thank you
