Hello Im new here and need some help , ive gotten os x 10.8 to run on my lenovo ideacentre k300 but i have some kext issues and dont really kno how to really fix things , i had voodoo hda 2.7.2 to work with the niresh 10.8 distro but it didnt let me install anything after customizing the install everything worked besides installing things upon first boot after i created my account , and i needed internet and it wouldnt install so i had to do a reinstall of niresh distro, well i reinstalled forgot to tick voodoo hda common drivers option upon install and i installed it myself with kextwizard but i think applllehda is conflicting and needs to be patched or something well i rebooted after fixing permissions and rebuilding cache it gave me kernel panic im thinking its because i didnt use the verbose flag but before the the reinstall i didnt have to it booted right in. I had read that verbose mode fixes common kernel panic problems on boot well i would like to know how i can get sound and graphics resolution to work right , now i just have the resolution tweak on and cant see my apple sign and file options or logout or anything up on top if you guys need all my specs i can edit or reply with them im not totally noob im just a little bit stuck and i do have system info app , thank you please dont be hard on me as im new and you guys know how frustrating this can be getting os x on common hardware , thanks for responses in advance!! my soundcard is ALC662
neterosensei posted a topic in OSx86 10.11 (El Capitan)Install Mac Osx El Capitan on Galaxy Book 12. Why did I choose ElCapitan and not HighSierra? Simple. From El Capitan release 10.11 + (so mac os Sierra and High Sierra) Apple has eliminated from HID event driver, pressure, tilt, Stylus position! Having this device for artistic purposes, I decided that El Capitan would be the best in this field. If you do not need a pen to draw, but just for taking notes or simple things, you can safely install Os High Sierra! That has Native support to KabyLake. Let's go to the elcapitan installation procedure! Just delete the usb and install the captain using the Createinstallmedia method. Only use FakeSmc and VoodooPs2Kext and config HD620spoof.plist. Obviously in driver64, add HFSplus. (Search these files on Google for the latest version, very important thing) Made this install el capitan on disk. What Works Cpu and Gpu: They seem to be recognized by the system and it seems to be okay! (To run the Gpu, put Fakepciid and Fakepci id graphics in the Other, Clover folder) Trackpad: Still to be fixed, but with Voodoops2 it seems to work (The trackpad is not a PS2 device, but for the moment use this kext, looking forward to fix this in the future) Bluetooth Not working (but updating) Audio Brightness Battery Wifi (not supported) Updating AcpiTables.zip
hey, have thoughts to give me a Mac OSX build intel 2011-3 X 99, but it seems that very many choose just gigabyte motherboards are there any specific reason or is it just as well with Asus or MSI motherboard and is there anything special you to think about the choice of motherboard? Then I have a thought concerning m2 Ssd disk, there is support for it in osx? Thanks in Advance
