  1. Hello, I have MacBook Pro 13" mid 2010 with nvidia 320M integrated chip running OS X 10.9. Is there any way to get new driver? Because Apple supplied one doesn't support GLSL 1.3, but I know that my GPU is capable of GLSL 1.3 because on Ubuntu 13.04 and Windows 7 with newer driver GLSL 1.3 (OpenGL 3) is working flawlessly. I'm asking here rather than on official apple forums, because I think that perhaps you could have better insights into non-Apple drivers. I have upgraded my beloved Snow Leopard only to get higher GLSL support but has been left out in the wind by Apple that they didn't update driver for my macbook. I can develop my project on Linux, but without Xcode it is much more hassle, not speaking about dual booting :/.
  2. Hi guys, So I've got my system working somewhat well with Niresh's Mavericks 10.9.0 apart from my GPU. Everything works fine and I do get 1080p resolution, however the Preview App crashes when I use it to view pictures, and I've heard that this could be caused by the driver for the card? I've heard it has something to do with OpenGL or CUDA which I honestly don't know that much about, and was wondering if there's a way to fix the problem by any chance? Everything else works great so far and there's just this tiny thing left that I need to fix the issue!
  3. I've ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 on dell inspiron 1564, I've installed 10.8.2 with iATKOS ML2, I've installed kexts from here and from everywhere. tried too much stuff! just I've got the native resolution 1366x768, BUT no qe/ci, No openGL renderer! and no translucent bar. I've tried to play with AMDRadeonAccelerator.kext , which is for 5000 series, and got OpenGL Renderer ( Testing with OpenGL Extensions Viewer ) but its just loading, and system is becoming slow in booting and inside the mac itself with no real opengl, even I see the option"Translucent bar" in change ur background.. but its not working really, And I figured that AMDRadeonAccelerator is loading AMDRadeonX3000GL.bundle and its not compatible with ATi mobility radeon 4000 series, its for 5000, and the other kexts loading ATIRadeonX2000GL with ATIRadeonX2000.kext, which is not making any sense and its not lading in "OpenGL Extensions viewer" it just showing apple software renderer, and video memory is 0 in opengl.. So Is there anyway to let AMDRadeonx2000GL.bundle do as a openGL Renderer or so? I want to know if I can add parameters or so on the kexts to let it like the windows in performance! to use graphics programs and so.. Thank you for your help!
  4. I'm running ESXi 5.1u3 with Unlocker 1.2 with OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 as a guest OS. On the guest OS I get this message flooding my log, with ten or so entries every second. 10/29/15 7:23:38.019 PM WindowServer[114]: _CGXGLDisplayContextForDisplayDevice: No matching context for device (0x7fec83e062c0) - disabling OpenGL When running the version of VMWare tools that comes with Unlocker 1.2 the errors only occur when I remote into the machine with Apple Remote Desktop — viewing the console via vSphere causes no errors. When running VMWare Tools that come with Fusion 7.1.1 the errors occur constantly, independent of how I view the screen. Here's a video of the console scroll — For now I'm going to downgrade VMWare tools so the scroll doesn't get out of control. I also get this error as well, though it's an annoyance more than anything — 10/29/15 7:41:16.064 PM apsd[79]: Hardware SerialNumber "VMWVk0d1gYjPF8NGAXKkxNCOA" looks incorrect or invalid Any thoughts on how to deal with this? Update — I checked some OSX Mountain Lion [10.8] host machines and this error does not occur.
  5. I just bought a gtx 680. The card is a 2 gig version from Asus. I haven't installed the nvidia web driver. The card is getting 40 fps in Windows 10, whereas in OS X under 30 fps. Does anybody know what's the problem?
  6. There are many tests for NVidia but very few for Radeons. Let me show it http://www.geeks3d.com/gputest/ My results are not very large. i3-2120, Radeon HD6670
