Can I install Mavericks on this pc?

Hello, I heard a lot about installing Mac os X Mavericks on AMD machines. But I don't know of I can run that on my pc. My PC is custom build this year in August. My specs are: 8 GB DDR3 Memory from Corsair AMD A8-5600K processor 3.6 GHz ASRock FM2A75M Pro4-M Motherboard WIFI Card Do you think I can run Mac os? Thank a lot for helping me, Daan
2. Hello Guys, Been wondering around a lot, tried loads of OSx86 projects but either I get the files damaged everytime or my Sony is not happy about it. Intel T7100 dual core Mobile Intel PM965 Express chipset 3GB ram NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT Storage controller type: Serial ATA Wireless NIC: Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN For more info: http://reviews.cnet....7-32473931.html That's what I have, Which OSx86 project do you think it can work? Also if there is one that can work, can I install it from a USB Flash drive, because I have feeling my DVD Drive is the issue.
3. I have an HP Media Center m1180n PC. I want to install either Snow Leopard or Lion on it (along with Tiger just to do it). Can they run on my PC? This is what I have: ACPI-enabled ASUS motherboard with AMI BIOS v3.28 (1/23/2006) 32-bit unicore 2-threaded Pentium IV @ 3.4GHz (supports MMX and SSE1-3) 1GB DDR1 RAM RADEON X300 graphics card (it's horrible; was supposed to be a GeForce 9600 GTX but the power box couldn't power it) no floppy drive a generic CD/DVD drive numerous USB 2.0 ports and a firewire port a generic High Definition Audio Device (which I'm guessing means I have an on-board sound card) a PCI Soft Modem a WinTV TV tuner card a USB Logitech laser mouse a standard Dell PS/2 keyboard an IDE 240GB hard drive with 3 partitions: 26GB for Vista, 200GB for XP, 6GB reserved as an OEM recovery partiton also connected is a 465GB SATA hard drive that is used to store user data on. Used to be a Vista drive on a now-dead PC and still contains the OS files on it a media expansion bay Should OSx86 be able to run on this at native speed? What is the highest Mac OS X version that can run on this? Also, is it possible to dual-boot OSx86 with my current triboot configuration (Vista, XP, Windows XP Recovery Console and probably soon, Debian)? Thanks, WindozeNT EDIT: I had no choice in the hardware and currently am unable to upgrade any of it. This was basically a hand-me-down PC.
4. Hey guys, I'm new here and have very little experience playing with OSx86. I've been trying to find the best way (if possible) to install any version of OSX on my laptop, but to no avail. I cant find anything in regards to my specific laptop model. So I was wondering if you folks could give me hand (even if its to point me into the right direction). My current setup: HP Pavilion DV6-7063sa Intel® Core™ i7- 2670QM Processor [4x 2,2 GHz] NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M [DDR3 2GB] 8 GB DDR3 1TB HardDisk [5400 rpm] Windows 7 + Ubuntu 12.10 If you need any more information just ask. Thanks in advance, Aarron
5. This is a build inquiry to poke at the possibility of 10.9 on this machine. Current build: ET2702IGTH 2560x1440p IPS screen with HDMI input/output (output is OS specific, the HDMI in isn't OS dependant) - Multi-touch screen (might be of use for DAW/video editing programs). Touch screen - I know OSX has native drivers for a generic interface (there's that one modding team who've been selling "mac pro tablets" for some time now) but not certain it will actually work as intended. i7 4770 (non-K) processor, Intel B85 Chipset AMD HD8890A 2GB GDDR5 (in PCIe 3.0 mode in recent BIOS) 2TB HDD 16GB (upgraded) Kingston HyperX 2133 PnP memory (clocks at 1600, the PnP memory was cheapest upgrade) Audio Chipset: Realtek ALC887 (DAW will use a Avid Firepro sound card) USB 3.0 ports, Thunderbolt, etc... And further specs can be found >here< What I'm wondering is, will OSX install on this beast of an AIO? The 8890A isn't a standard mobile GPU, which might make the setup a bit weird - not certain what the card's based off of (some say it's equal to an HD7850). BIOS is current and has been given more features over time. Second, is OSx86 worth it for this machine? I have noted a few Win programs do in fact compare equal to their OSX counterparts, the only difference is OSX being a realtime-OS whereas Win needs ASIO (and a slight bugger to setup sometimes). Eventually I'd like to do a little more than just music, but it still seems easier on OSX. I guess with that in mind, this should be asked too: is Apple still bastardising its pro-branded apps? Is it a good idea to patch the BIOS (it is UEFI), or is it even necessary? At current I don't have a copy of OSX 10.9 (though it is planned, need to research more - which is partially the purpose of this thread). Currently have a few spare HDD's if an external boot is required to install from a Win8 to OSX box. Any help, and critical opinions, appreciated, thanks!
6. Hello guys, New here, just joined. Have been reading about OSx86 and hackintoshes since quite some time, frequently read topics here but this is the first one I'm posting. I have a spare laptop, Lenovo R61, with specs nearly identical, if not completely, to the Late 2007 Macbook. Quite old, I know. Here are the specs: Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 2.2 GHz 2GB DDR2 RAM 120GB HDD Intel X3100 with 384MB VRAM Now, on the wiki page I can see that highest possible version of OS X that the Macbook-equivalent of my laptop can run is Lion. So I think it's safe to presume that my laptop will too support it. But what would the performance be like? Can anyone suggest which version would be able to provide the smoothest user experience on my laptop? My laptop's touchpad doesn't support multi-touch, so gestures are out of question I guess. Also, what all features can I expect to work? Or which ones I can't? Any tips regarding installation or user experience are welcome too and I am grateful to everyone who tries to help. Kudos!

Lion & 6450?

Ok, so I have a pc with the following specifications: intel Core 2 Duo E4500 4GB DDR3 Ram AMD Radeon 6450 I currently have 10.6 installed through SnoLeo (used to have a Celeron 450) (Never figured out how to update to 10.6.8) I have always had problems with my video card as in I couldn't figure out where to find the correct kext, even though my graphics card has 512mb it shows 256mb and even with putting "Graphics Mode"="1920x1080x32" the max resolution I could get was 1400x1050. This is what shows up in System Profiler: Unknown: Chipset Model: Unknown Type: GPU Bus: PCIe Slot: Slot-1 PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x6779 Revision ID: 0x0000 ROM Revision: 113-B7710C-176 EFI Driver Version: 01.00.318 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1400 x 1050 Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Display Connector: Now that I have a Core 2 Duo I think I can go the route of #####/##### with Mac OS X Lion. But before I begin I have a few questions. 1.Will the Core 2 Duo E4500 run the vanilla kernel and do you think I'll have any issues? 2.Are there any kexts for the 6450 that will run full resolution of 1920x1080 with QE/CI enabled? 3.Will Chimera fix my video card? Thank you I am awaiting somebodys reply.

possible installation

I'm new to hackintosh I'm planning to install 10.7.5 Lion on my old laptop ~Compaq presario v6615EN core 2 duo T5550 1.83 GHZ 4 GB ram intel 965 after some researchs I guessed that 10.7 will be good but I really don't know I think that it will appear to be early-mid 2007 thanks for any assistance I don't think that it will go smooth as the BIOS is locked and I can't configure it to go smoothly with OS X unless it's preconfigured
