1. Hello, I am very well aware of the openCL bug with graphics power management on nVidia cards. (the one where the clock would be stuck and the temp will run hot). I am also aware that the nVidia web drivers they have released have fixed the problem. I have recently updated to 10.9.4, and have updated the web drivers and cuda drivers as well, however now I get kernel panics on shutdown and reboot relating to those graphics kexts. These panics never happened on 10.9 - 10.9.3. It will panic and reset my CMOS every time i attempt to shut down my computer. With the original OSX kexts it shuts down normally, however the clock will get stuck when opening preview or other apps. I was wondering if this is an isolated incident, or if the web drivers are broken for everyone on 10.9.4? Is there a way to prevent this panic? I strongly prefer using the web drivers as they provide a noticeable increase in performance on my system. I am using an nVidia Geforce GT 640
2. Hello Newb here. Finally got my first hackintosh running, then today it decided to kernel panic on me. Picture is attached. No idea where to go. Was in the process of finally using the machine for a server. Even had "Back to my Mac" working while I was getting my car fixed. Got home, installed my other HDD in order to transfer files off the system and duplicate for redundancy. But wont boot past this screen. Even installed on another drive, still nothing. System specs: Mountain Lion 10.8.3 Asus P8H61-m le/csm r.2.0 Intel G860 8gig (4x2) corsair XMS 1066 Seagate drives (1 TB: has all my info on it; 3 TB, drive I want for backup) Any help or advice be much appreciated! Again, was working, now does this. RyRy

4. Hello, My hackintosh: Asrock h61 de/s3 intel core i5 2500 club 3d radeon 4850 1gb Maxtor 160gb hackintosh harddrive I installed succesfully with a bootloader on a usb stick and a retail dvd burned on a usb stick a fully working hackintosh Things i installed in the post instalation: Combo update 10.6.8 with the updatehelper for sandy bridge Multi Bea$t : #####, ALC887 drivers (did not work), Ati 4850 injector (Works) After Multi Bea$t i installed the Ethernet Kext for my motherboard and a voodoohda kext(deleted the AppleHda and the Multi Bea$t alc887 kext because the Multi Bea$t kext didnt't work.) Bootloader= Chimera bootloader from ##### + Graphicsenabler=No (because of kernal panic which i recieve from the 4850) Everything works like a charm, but i recieve weird kernel panics after maybe 3 hours or after a whole day. Idk what can cause the problem because the kernel panic doesn't give any text. Just the " Hold the power button bla bla" I think it has something to do with the internet, because i booted up today and bittorent started downloading but as soon as i opened firefox i recieved a kernel panic. So can anyone help me? Sorry for my bad english Greetings from Merlijn Here are the logs from the instant kernel panic after opening firefox and bittorent started downloading Edit: System.log says this: Jun 23 10:42:08 localhost com.apple.launchd[1]: *** launchd[1] has started up. *** Jun 23 10:42:18 localhost bootlog[38]: BOOT_TIME: 1340473325 0 Jun 23 10:42:18 localhost fseventsd[31]: event logs in /.fseventsd out of sync with volume. destroying old logs. Kernel panic on installation

In the past I had 10.5 (Kalyway) installed on my old inspiron 1525. I decided I wanted to put Lion onto my Asus k53e. Put SATA into AHCI mode. Whenever I try to install (whether it be my OLD kalyway disc, 10.6.2 by Hazard, or iATKOS L2), I get the same kernel panic (attached) It's failing on AppleAHCIPort. What exactly does that mean? I might (not positive) have ICH9 controller (CPU_Z tells me my mainboard is intel sandbridge version 09, is that what that means?) Sorry for sounding like an idiot. I have AHCI_Extended_Injector.kext, just don't know how to add it to an install image, nor do I know if this will fix the problem. Any help?

Kernel Panic - BlueTooth related?

Hi there everyone, I am a real newbie at Hackintosh builds but having built Windows PC's for years and having several in my house, I thought I would give it a go. I bought some high spec components and built what I think is a solid basis for a Hackintosh. I followed all the instructions and installed ML but have a problem when I try to boot into OS X. I have a grey screen with the apple logo and it is stuck there. I booted using -v and took some photos which I attach below. Please can someone help me to get over this problem. I wonder if it is related to my wi-fi / bluetooth card - should I take it out of the motherboard first? Thanks all in advance Chris System Spec: Corsair Obsidian 650D Case Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP5-TH (includes the bluetooth adapter) Intel Core i7 3770K Corsair 750W PSU EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti Signature 2 SanDisk Extreme SSD 120GB 32GB Corsair Vengance Mountain Lion
7. I recently successfully installed Mac OS 10.7.2 via iAtkos L2, even though I couldn't use my trackpad nor my usb mouse. I did a format of the hard drive via iAtkos V7 (The only one which boots perfectly) and then, using only the keyboard, I installed everything. But when I got it to boot, it gave me a kernel panic: "cpu (3) is failing to respond to interrupts". I tried booting with ignore cache and it didn't go past the Apple grey boot screen, and also in safe mode (-x), which also gave me the same panic. At the moment I can't install Lion in any way, because iAtkos S3v2 gives me, ironically, the same kernel panic L2 does. It's frustrating, since my laptop is really performant and brand new, so I would appreciate any help given
8. Hi, Hello! This is my first post and I am less than literate in OS X and running it in Virtual Machines and the like. In fact, I have only gotten this far by watching and reading tutorials so please, forgive me if I do not provide enough information. Please let me know if you need more information. Firstly, here are my PC specifications: CPU: Pentium G3258 (Overclocked to 4 GHz, Virtualization enabled) GPU: Gigabyte GTX 660 OC 2GB Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H81M-H (No USB 3.0, Revision 2.1) RAM: 4GB Primary Storage: 120GB SSD Secondary Storage: 80GB HDD Architecture: 64-bit I am using VMware Workstation 12.1.1 Player. I should mention that: I have added smc.version = "0" to both Yosemite's and El Capitan's vmx file. I have ran Unlocker 2.0.8 as administrator Issue 1, El Capitan Ideally I would have liked to run El Capitan in VMware but after following such tutorials online, in which multiple people made it look so easy, I ran into this Kernel Panic on booting: Click here to see the Kernel Panic - I linked this image to save on post space. Here are my settings for this VM: Memory Processors Hard Disk CD/DVD Network Adapter USB Controller Sound Card Display I have researched the "cpu 0 caller" error but couldn't find any information relating to the specific error code of '0xffffff8008b9b0d4'. Because of this Kernel Panic I tried Yosemite instead, which leads me to my second issue. Issue 2, Yosemite After failing to boot El Capitan I decided to try Yosemite instead. However, when booting it freezes/gets stuck half way. Click here to see the stall at 50% on boot The settings for Yosemite are exactly the same as for El Capitan in Issue 1. Conclusion If I could get either of these VM's to work then I'd be satisfied. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I will greatly appreciate any advice given. - Silent EDIT: I researched more, "The G3258 isn't natively supported" is a comment often seen. People have suggested faking the CPUID to 0x0306A0 (I'm not even sure what CPU this comes from) but this is a method used in Clover? How I'd translate this over to VMware I have no idea (Is it even possible?). Thoughts? EDIT 2: After even more research I added these 2 lines to El Capitan's vmx file from a topic about CPUID's in VMware: cpuid.1.edx = "00001111111010111111101111111111" cpuid.1.eax = "00000000000000000000011011110001" According to OS X it thinks my CPU is now a "2 x 3.04 GHz Intel Core 2 Solo". It worked! Hopefully this post will be helpful to other people if they come across the same problems I have.
