1. Salve a tutti ragazzi, vorrei installare El Capitan sul mio Asus. Potete darmi una mano per favore? Intel Core i5-6500u 4GB di Ram DDR4
2. First of all a big thanks to the InsanelyMac community for such an extensive information at our tips to use. So, after months of waiting, finding just the correct method to install the Mac OS X Lion (10.7) on my PC, after giving about 100's of tries, I finally managed to install Mac OS X Lion on my PC, absolutely working, with Sound, Networking, and Graphics. [Note: This guide is for Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L motherboard only. Also for the below given hardware specs. Might cause problem on different hardware than this. So proceed carefully.] Here's my system specs on which I am currently running Lion: Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L rev. 1 Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 @ 2.66GHz 4GB ( 2x 2GB) 800 MHz DDR2 RAM MSI N9500GT OC Edition And here's the method I followed: Requirements: Kakewalk 4.1.1 from http://www.kakewalk.se/ Lion Installer, can be downloaded for $29.99 from Mac App Store. Minimum 8GB USB Stick. A Mac is needed to create the USB stick with the necessary files for installing Lion on your PC. Borrow one from a friend for at least half an hour. ##### (Lion Version) from http://www.tonymacx86.blogspot.com Once you have the files downloaded, you can start the process. Copy the Lion installer and Kakewalk to the Desktop of a Mac. Run Kakewalk, and on main screen click 'Create Install Disk'. On Next Screen, locate the Lion app you downloaded from the Mac App Store, choose the motherboard, in this case 'Gigabyte G41M-ES2L' as that works perfectly, then choose the USB stick as the destination (make sure you select the correct disk, or you'll end up installing to the Mac you're working on), then hit the Create button. Go grab yourself a cup of coffee, as this may take 10 - 30 mins depending on the pen drive. Once done, you have a bootable USB having the Lion installer in it. The pen drive is renamed to Kakewalk. When the Kakewalk finishes, click OK in the end, eject your pen drive, and return the Mac to your friend unscathed. Now plug the USB to your PC and turn it on. Go to BIOS Settings, in there change these settings as follows: First boot device under Advanced settings, to USB-HDD, and in the first option under Advanced Settings, press Enter, and select the USB-HDD and press '+' to bring it to the top. (Make sure you have your pen drive attached, then only it would show up in here) Power Management -> HPET -> 64 bit, ACPI Suspended Type -> S3 (STR) and (don't remember the exact option) Hard Drive Mode -> Enhanced [*]Save Settings and boot. [*]When you boot from the USB stick, you will see the Kakewalk EFI bootloader, let it start itself. [*]After this step, you'll see a long process of white text flowing on your screen, after which you'll be greeted to the Lion installation screen. [*]Follow the instructions on screen till you reach where to install Mac OS X. On top goto Utilities -> Disk Utility. In the left pane select the main HDD you will be installing Lion to, then click Partition on the left in center. From Volume Scheme Select '1 Partition' and in Options below, select 'GUID Partition Table'. Then in volume information, type a name for your disk, and select format type as 'Mac OS Extended (Journaled)'. Leave the rest untouched. Click Apply. One done, exit Disk Utility. Select the Disk you formatted, and hit Install. [*]The installation will take about 30 mins, at the end of which your computer will reboot. Leave the USB Stick plugged in, as there is no bootloader yet, the pen drive provides a temporary one, we'll be fixing that later. [*]This time when system boots up, on the Kakewalk EFI bootloader screen, press any key. It will show up the Disks to boot from. Select the disk you installed Mac to, identified by the name you entered in Step 9. [*]Now you'll be welcomed to the next steps of Installation. Continue with the necessary details as asked. [*]Once done, you should arrive on the default Lion Desktop. Congratulations!! Your installation has been successful. But you still have to install the bootloader to your hard drive so that it can boot up on its own. [*]Now run ##### you have downloaded. Click Continue till you reach the screen where it asks to select what to install. Check the first option, '##### Install', thats it. Click Continue, Enter your password, click OK, and let it install. Once done, close #####, eject your pen drives, and reboot. this time you'll see the system automatically boots to the Mac. [*]So now we're done with the installation. As of now, your Graphics and Internet should be working, open Safari to check. But Sound still doesn't work. So we need a bit of tinkering. [*]Click on the magnifying glass on top right, and type in 'HDA', you will see various results. Click 'Show All in Finder'. [*]If you see a file named AppleHDA.kext (in case it doesn't show up in Finder, navigate to /System/Library/Extensions and in there find the file), delete that file. If it asks for password, enter, hit OK. Empty Trash from dock. [*]Now you'll need to download 2 files: The compatible sound kext file from here: http://www.osx86.net...p;_working.html And, Kext Utility, from here: http://www.osx86.net...0.7_update.html [*]Note: If you plan to update to 10.7.2, don't proceed below to steps 20 and 21, as sound will be enabled after updating to 10.7.2. Simply follow from post #10 below, and leave step 2 in there (saving you some work), else you may continue here. [*]Extract both, and run Kext Utility, let it perform the basic work first. After it shows 'Enjoy ...', drag and drop the downloaded kext file onto the interface, Enter your password, OK, and let it install. [*]Once done, reboot, and you should have sound fully working. That's it, Enjoy your new Hackintosh!! Attached here is the screen shot of my Hackintosh.

My processor overclocked to 3.8 Ghz. In my opinion the most important thing is disabling Asmedia USB3.0 Controller in BIOS. Otherwise you will fail with PCI Root Configuration. Caution: By the way my bios Fan settings are custom made, don't use with yours. INSTALLING - Proceed with USB stick, boot into OS X installer, select your destination drive, format with Disk Utility if necessary, and reboot. - After boot don’t remove USB stick boot with it but this time select freshly installed OS X drive. - After successful login, install Clover bootloader with the same settings usb install PLUS select Install RC Scripts on Target Volume - Before restart use my OSX_CLOVER folder to replace you OSX EFI. (I used non default theme so it is better to change it to default or download mine.) FIXES - Sound ALC1150 Fix is already done with my OSX_CLOVER. I injected “1” id and used FixHDA. - Graphics Use Nvidia drivers then replace nv_disable=1 with nvda_drv=1. If you will use Macpro 6,1 please use AGDPfix.v1.3 - SSDT Please don’t use my SSDT in clover folder if your CPU is not overclocked to 3,8 Ghz. Use appropriate SSDT with your own settings. You can create your own SSDT before installing OS and replace with USB - CLOVER - ACPI - Patched. (Both for INSTALL and OS X EFI) Use piker alpha’s ssdt generation script from https://github.com/Piker-Alpha/ssdtPRGen.sh If your cpu is not overclocked, use this one for stock “ ./ssdtPRGen.sh -p ‘i7-5960X' -f 3000 -turbo 3500 ” Please enjoy your Hackintosh Yucel BIOS.zip INSTALL_CLOVER.zip OSX_CLOVER.zip
7. Hi all. I'm after a bit of help with installing Sierra GM. The system this post pertains to is an EX58-UD5 with Nehalem i7 920 and Nvidia 480 GTX, all working perfectly since the snow leopard days. Updates have always been a case of clicking update and waiting, until now that is! I'm running 10.11.6, I've updated clover to r3726 (latest build from sourceforge), I've downloaded Sierra from the app store, clicked install, rebooted, selected the install media. Grey screen with beach ball/spinner. I can move the mouse, the system sleeps and wakes but just doesn't bring up the installer. So I updated fakesmc to 6.20.1410 (the latest I could find from HWsensors). Same issue This is usually what happens when fakesmc doesn't get loaded, but seeing as the install media is read only I can even load fakesmc through single user mode on the way in. I can't even run kextstat as it doesn't exist on the installer. I then created a USB with createmedia --nointeraction, looked on the USB and theres no sign of S/L/E or L/E to dump fakesmc into. So I put my working EFI folder (with updated clover and fakesmc, boots 10.11 ok) onto the USB. I also put my dsdt on there in the root and in ACPI/patched. Same issue, grey screen. I have tried booting with nv_disable=1 which results in the same grey screen with beach ball/spinner but at a reduced resolution. So what I plan to do next is to recreate the installer using the restore method and put fakesmc somewhere that is loaded by the kernel, but before I do I wanted to ask, does this sound like a fakesmc problem or something else. I can't see why clover would not be injecting fakesmc but I can't run kextstat from single user mode as it doesn't exist on the installer. Help!
8. I use Chamelon bootloader and try to boot from USB. Works like a charm - however! As soon as i reach the iAtkos ML2 installation menu, iAtkos turns on both my Speakers and my Mic at the same time on full volume, causing a reverb sound that is unbearable and destroys my speakers. It's a laptop, so i can't just turn it off sadly. The laptop is an Asus ROG G73-JH - anyone seen this before?

I have no idea what I'm doing.

Hey everyone. I'm a newbie to the world of Hackintosh, and I finally decided to give it a go for the second time. I've decided on Yosemite as my OS, and I don't want to use a distro. The only issue is, I have no idea what I'm doing. I tried to make an USB once, and gave up after hours and hours spent not even getting to the installer. If anyone knows what I should be using, please help me, because I sure don't. My specs are: ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0 Motherboard, AMD FX-8320 CPU, Nvidia GTX 760 GPU. If anyone has links or tutorials that would be amazing. Thanks!
10. I'm struggling to get my Optiplex 780 DT working with this guide. I can boot into clover just fine, but when I try to boot the USB in clover I get this. I've tried some different boot flags, DSDTs, kexts and patches, but I always get this error. I have a Q8200, 1x4GB, an HD 5450 1GB, and the latest A15 bios. I can't figure out exactly what the problem is, so if anybody could help me out I would really appreciate it! Thanks. EDIT - I tried switching the Q8200 for a Q9400, no difference.
11. Hi everybody! I need help, please. Trying to install 10.8.5 ML with Clover on Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2V Celeron G555 ASUS GeForce GT610 Clover installed on USB for UEFI systems. 12. Hi there, This is my 10th hackintosh. And I have been setting them up since 10.5 or so. This one is putting up a fight. It doesn't boot at all. I get the Darwin boot prompt, the VESA info and in reboots a second after the apple logo shoes up. I never found and hackintosh that did not boot, period. The thing is, I get no kernel panic. Just a cold boot. And the output is so fast, that I cannot see what's going on. These are the specs... (I'm on an iPad, so I'll just post the link) http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press_kits/2013/HPDiscover2013/HPEliteDesk800_datasheet.pdf Can someone help?
13. Hi, I am using Clover as the boot loader for my multi-boot hack (Windows 7 / Mountain Lion). I read that I should install Clover to a boot flash and work out any issues before installing clover to the hard drive. I have one hard drive which, if I do not use the Clover boot loader, boots into the 4th partition (Windows 7, EFI boot). The 1st partition is the EFI one created when I installed Windows. The 2nd partition is the Microsoft reserved partition. The 3rd partition is the HFS+ partition. 1) My questions are, once I get the boot flash working the way I want, how do I get those settings installed onto the hard drive? 2) Further, where should Clover go on the hard drive? Thanks, Bernie

15. I have a challenge, to install Mac OS X 10.7 Lion on HP Pavilion dv7. I have installed successfully 10.6.3. Later upgraded to 10.6.8, but after this upgrade I have lost High Speed USB. I don't know how to fix it, actually haven't spent time to figure out how to fix it. But I have a new challenge now. Have you already installed Mac OS X 10.7 Lion on HP Pavilion dv7? Let me know about your success. Some updates below: Installation procedure I'm using myHack.app to create usb boot disk for installation. 19. Hi guys, I've got a big problem. I installed lion with chameleon, and went good. But when I reboot and I choose to start with the hdd, it freezes on the first screen , the logo screen. What should I do? The terminal doesn't recognize nor the Logitech keyboard (works with a USB adapter for wireless) nor another USB keyboard(don't know the brand, but isn't wireless) Any advice? Thanks in advance!
20. Hello. I've been having a problem with Clover or OS X itself, it's hard to tell which, because I've literally never seen this. Anyway, I recently bought myself a new Dell (Inspiron 15 5000, Intel Core i5-5200U, 8GB RAM, Intel HD 6000 Graphics, Nontouch, Windows 10 Home). I have created a restore disk in Windows in case things go wrong, and backed up my data. So I really wanted to install OS X to it, but I've seen Yosemite a lot and have missed Mavericks, so I decided to try and install that. Last night, the 21st, I used DiskMaker X 4b5 to create a Mavericks installer from my current Yosemite desktop. Twice it gave me Error Code 1, then it gave me some other error. So I called it a night and moved on. Then today, I used my iMac with Yosemite to create a DIskMaker X 4b5 installer, then used DiskMaker X 3.0.4, then used the createinstallmed command twice. For the first five tries, I used the lastest version of Clover (9/22/2015) and then used the lastest non-2.3k version for the last two tries. For each failed attempt below that doesn't have an error, it worked fine and dandy, Clover comes up, I select the installer but the screen shows this in verbose mode, and does nothing. CTRL+ALT+DEL does nothing either. efiboot loaded from device: Acpi(PNP0A03,0/Pci14|0)/Usb(1,0)/HD(Part2,Sig35ADA88A-1DC8-4147-8DOD-EEC394BF67CE) boot file path: .IABootFiles\boot.efi ..Loading kernel cache file '\.IABootFiles\kernelcache'... .................. root device uuid is '6474A87B-F7FE-3752-9275-D36E71E92E74' +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Failed Attempts [1] Using Clover v2.3k r3270, Created Via DiskMaker X 4b5, on Hackintosh, Error 1 [2] Using Clover v2.3k r3270, Created Via DiskMaker X 4b5, on Hackintosh, Error 1 [3] Using Clover v2.3k r3270, Created Via DiskMaker X 4b5, on Hackintosh, Error Unknown [4] Using Clover v2.3k r3270, Created Via DiskMaker X 4b5, on iMac [5] Using Clover v2.3k r3270, Created Via DiskMaker X 3.0.4, on iMac [6] Using Clover v2k r3142, Created Via createinstallmed, on iMac, Undetected by Laptop [7] Using Clover v2k r3142, Created Via createinstallmed, on iMac

22. I have a question for some time, and i never found a answer, here is the problem, i need 4 kexts: my audio, lan and sata (icons fix) to work, and fakesmc. Usualy i put this kexts in the /Extra/Extensions of the install USB (with the kernel patcher plugin for chameleon) but MacMan's "RealtekRTL81xx.kext" does not load when i boot the OS after install (for the first time) unless i put it in S/L/E from another install partition. So my problem is how to insert this kexts directly into the install so that they are copied to S/L/E directly with the install, so when the system boots for the first time, it has the kexts. And i've tried to copy the 4 kexts in S/L/E on the installer USB , but the installer does not copy them to the disk. This is not a major inconvenience, but i would like to have LAN at the first boot so i can set up iCloud and all the stores there from the start. Hope you guys understand my problem, not a native english speaker here so it may sound awkward.
23. Hi all, I'm following this guide to install 10.13 to my 8700k build. Specs are as follows 8700k Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 7 Rev 1 Gskill Trident z 32gb 3000 EVGA 1080ti sc2 Samsung 850 evo 500gb I've made a bootable usb following this guide and added the EFI from the thread at the top of this post. I've edited smbios to be imac 18,3, updated Fake SMC to 3.5.1, am using the latest clover 4318 followed this guide to enable Nvidia gpu. Kexts are already in the “other” folder, removed EMUVariableUEFi. Used Clover Configurator to generate new serial and smuuid and made sure ff and ffm were not zeroes. I've tried this whole process at least a half dozen times in slightly different ways each time. Furthest I've gotten is to the second stage of the install, after the first reboot and the creation of the recovery partition, the installer hangs and gives a somewhat generic error message saying something along the lines of "Mac OS High Sierra can not be installed on this computer. Run Apple Diagnostics." Checking the install log and I find one error that seems to be of note regarding a failed extraction of Core.pkg if memory serves [was doing this late at night]. Can any one of you gurus provide any help? I really appreciate any help!

Installing On a HPZ400

I am going to be installing Yosemite on a HP Z400 that has a Xeon W3635 and I am replacing graphics with an R9 270x. The Z400 is coming in on Monday and I was wondering if It would be a good idea to record my entire process and upload the video to help others that may be having trouble? Would anyone be interested in this sort of video and I will also try El Captain and do the same if people say they would be interested
25. I've been wanting to get a hackintosh set up on my machine for quite some time. I had tried to get 10.11 working, but I can't seem to find a working audio driver, so I wanted to try 10.10. However, I missed it on the App Store and thus had to download it elsewhere. The download location didn't have the .app file; only InstallESD.dmg. I was wondering if it is possible to create bootable media using solely this as there isn't anything but .mpkg files and other stuff in it (nothing like a bootable drive looks like). I'm both relatively new to both Mac OS X and Hackintosh, so this question may be stupid and/or already answered already.
