    Signal loss on GTX 980

Hi all! I just recently got my EVGA SC ACX GTX 980 and installed Yosemite as well. After a successful install, I installed the NVIDIA web drivers and put the graphics card on my board, but on either HDMI or Displayport, I get a signal loss. Yet, when I use a DVI cable, it works fine. From what I've been reading, many people have been getting issues with getting both to work. I have used all three of the drivers (f01-f03) and still get the same results. What exactly do I need to do in order to get both HDMI and displayport to work properly?
  2. Hello I am post a bounty for a fix for my system MSI GE70 2PE 012US. I installed my system with Niresh Marvicks 10.9.0. I currently have Video Acceleration working with my Intell 4600 video card, usb ports are working but not stable, the touch pad works fine, fans, external speakers have sound. I have spent too much time on this project and now I need some serious help. I am thinking that if I get my dsdt fixed and find the right kext files maybe I can fix some of these problems. Getting HDMI working is the highest priority. The HDMI port will be worth $100.00, the backlight will be worth $50.00, camera, $25.00, audio ports, $25.00 and Nvidia GTX860M video card worth $50.00. I will be attaching the dsdt files and ireg files shortly. If you need any more information about my machine please let me know and I will give to you. Upon completion of each item I will pay you through my paypal account just pm me your email account information. log.txt dsdt.txt

    HDMI not working on GTS250

Hi, I've been using this card for a long time with VGA and no problem has ever occurred. My preferred method to get this card working is GE=yes but i've tried dsdt patch and it works fine as well. I recently bought a new Monitor with HDMI port and i am trying to make it work in OSX. GE=yes and dsdt patch only gives me VGA, when using HDMI it gives me black screen after apple logo. I did some google search but found no solution. I will be grateful if someone could help me out with this. I am using Zotac gts250 on lion 10.7.3. Thanks a lot in advance and please pardon my bad English.
  7. Hello everyone, I got OSX Yosemite 10.10.3 running on the Acer Aspire 7741G with a few slight problems. I used the cim method from terminal to create the installer, then added clover to the usb, I extracted EDID with EDID viewer in windows and I am using custom EDID in config.plist and I am using Flicker as frame buffer atm, I did not fill in the number of ports. When I boot the laptop without or with HDMI connected everything is fine. I have QE/CI, without HDMI connect only on internal display, and with HDMI connected on both screens. The problems occurs when I connected the HDMI while the system is booted, or when I disconnect en replug the HDMI the same problem occurs, the colors on my laptop screen get screwed up, like a yellow colors and very difficult to read the screen. This problem also occurs when I enter sleep en wake up the laptop. sleep itself works, but also the yellow color problem is happening here. I think this got to do when waking from sleep the wrong frame buffer is applied. I am injecting the graphics from clover now, but I am thinking about going to try injection from DSDT since I also made a DSDT and patched it with the patch file found on www.olarila.com. I used this tutorial to get the videocard working. I hope someone can help me out.

    HDMI 2.0 for 4k 60hz?

I know Mac doesn't support this because there are no Macs with HDMI 2.0. However, we are using an Nvidia driver, with an Nvidia card, so I'm sure there's a way we could get 60hz with 4k? If not, will using a displayport cable solve my problem? I hope so. Regardless, HDMI would be nice

    Radeon HD 4570 LVDS/VGA/HDMI

Hi I am trying to make at least LVDS and VGA work. I have working Shrike framebuffer (output for ioreg with SSH is ATY,Shrike), but output on LVDS is like attached picture and no output on VGA or HDMI. I have tried patching framebuffer in ATI4600Controller.kext but I don't think it's working. Here is modified Shrike can anyone tell me if it's wrong? 02 00 00 00 40 00 00 00 09 01 00 00 12 04 00 07 LVDS 10 00 00 00 10 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 10 01 01 VGA 00 08 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 01 00 00 10 00 02 05 HDMI I have tried senseid 00 - 07 and none work for LVDS. Also have forced EDID to pick up LVDS which seems to force LVDS everytime with GraphicsEnabler=No but still nothing with GraphicsEnabler=Yes. Video bios dump: http://www.mediafire.com/?vnwa2b2xzx9nsyb UPDATE: I tried DSDT injection for my card detailed here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/282637-ati-mobility-radeon-hd-4650-cant-find-lvds-senseline/ Here's the DSDT I came up with. What is wrong with it? I was getting jumbled screen again but different pattern than before, closer to solid color but still missing pixels and I was not able to log in and use VNC/SSH like usual. http://www.mediafire.com/download/c35l07k7blkdkm6/DSDT.aml Also I still couldn't get Shrike personality to work. Nothing seems to work, what else can I try? And can someone take a look at the stuff I've already done...in case I messed something up? Thanks!
  11. Hello, thank you to those who came to read the post, the problem is basically the title, I have a notebook with a i5-3210M, HD4000 and GT640M, OSX use it for some time and recently bought a monitor and am trying to enable the display and the monitor simultaneously. I Did these tests changing the value ig-platform-id: all 0x0166000Y where Y ranges from 0 to B values, I believe that these are all the possible values for notebook, I tested all of these values with the nvidia on and off (with DSDT ) with patch in AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext and unpatched, the results are the same, I get HDMI accelerated with the value 0x01660003 and the notebook screen with acceleration with the value 0x01660004, the other values i get the screen without acceleration or HDMI with defective image, but in none of the tests I got the screen and HDMI simultaneously, even without acceleration or faulty image . Does anyone have any idea how I can have the display and HDMI simultaneously or can point me something to help? Thanks.
  12. I am a newbie here Hello to everyone i have been trying to load mavericks on my Lenovo G400s Touch. I have got mostly everything working with a great battery backup of around 5 hours incredibly The problem i am facing is with my HDMI Out....i m using 10.9.4 and 10.9 at the same system... help me out with anyone I have i5-3230m with HD4000 graphics of around 2GB according to windows but on mac i get only 1GB, thats not a big issue. I have Insyde Bios which i am sure is only giving out stolen ram of 32mb because it works flawlessly when i inject any 32mb platform with LVDS connector port configured as "05 03 00 00 02 00 00 00 30 00 00 00 " for low resolution of 1366x768. (on 64mb it gives garbage lines all over screen with movement) But i am getting difficulty in using HDMI out. i tried platform-ids of original 3,4,8,9,10,11 and also with replacing LVDS connector ids. But only 0503000002000000030000000 gives full acceleration and only on 32mb. I cant flash my bios, so please help me to either patch my platform ids to 32mb or any way to fix my hdmi port with any other already 32mb platforms i.e 4,10 and 11. Please help.... Thanks in Advance
  13. Hello Guys, I've been following EMlyDinEsH's Complete AppleHDA Patching Guide, I've managed to get AppleHDA, HDMI and HDMI audio working yesterday. I was so happy that I even might opened up window and screamed out 'shake it baby!'. But that was yesterday. While building my hack, I have tinkered with too much thing and I felt something 'dirty' on the pc (it probably was just me) So I have reinstalled the system. Before I reinstalled it, I have backed up the EFI folder with all kexts, patched DSDT and all that. After reinstallation, I have inhibited the patched kexts (which resides on EFI partition and gets injected by Clover) and restored the EFI partition, everything were working except for the battery meter. That was no problem, I reinstalled the kexts, and all was fine (at least, I was thinking all was fine.) After I reinstalled all apps I use, I hooked up the pc to the lcd tv via HDMI, but BANG! HDMI audio was not working. That was the moment I realized once more that it was the cost wanting all at once. I have gone through the AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext patching procedure again (even thought it was working fine right before reinstallation), but no luck. HDMI is working, but no HDMI audio. Here are the guides I was using: http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1946-complete-applehda-patching-guide http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1969-guide-for-enabling-vga-and-hdmi-in-intel-hd3000-gpu/ P.S.: I could not used the mentioned dsdt patch on last link, since it is missing some headers (I think) but that should not be a problem because it was working fine before reinstallation. Besides, it says 'Patched DSDT with platform id OR SMBios of MacBookPro8,1' and my smbios is set to MBP8.1. Details of my system: PC: Acer Aspire 5755G System: Yosemite 10.10.2 Graphics: Intel HD3000 + GT 540M CPU: i7-2670QM/HM65 rev. B2 Botloader: Clover r3193 Here is link to my EFI partition. I didn't know what else can be needed to pinpoint the problem so please let me know what else should I send. https://www.dropbox.com/s/dh26dtwicpgtuou/EFI.zip?dl=1 So, my question is, where should I start looking? Or how do you even troubleshoot this kind of problem?

A questo punto, provando uno dei seguenti platform-ig che attivano (connettono) il Framebuffer del AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext: ig-platform-id: 01660000, Stolen RAM for FB: 96MB, Pipes: 3, Ports: 4, FBMem: 3 ig-platform-id: 01660001, Stolen RAM for FB: 96MB, Pipes: 3, Ports: 4, FBMem: 3 ig-platform-id: 01660002, Stolen RAM for FB: 64MB, Pipes: 3, Ports: 1, FBMem: 1 ig-platform-id: 01660003, Stolen RAM for FB: 64MB, Pipes: 2, Ports: 2, FBMem: 2 ig-platform-id: 01660004, Stolen RAM for FB: 32MB, Pipes: 3, Ports: 1, FBMem: 1 ig-platform-id: 01660008, Stolen RAM for FB: 64MB, Pipes: 3, Ports: 3, FBMem: 3 ig-platform-id: 01660009, Stolen RAM for FB: 64MB, Pipes: 3, Ports: 3, FBMem: 3 ig-platform-id: 0166000A, Stolen RAM for FB: 32MB, Pipes: 2, Ports: 3, FBMem: 2 ig-platform-id: 0166000B, Stolen RAM for FB: 32MB, Pipes: 2, Ports: 3, FBMem: 2 ig-platform-id: 01620005, Stolen RAM for FB: 32MB, Pipes: 2, Ports: 3, FBMem: 2 ig-platform-id: 01620006, Stolen RAM for FB: 0MB, Pipes: 0, Ports: 0, FBMem: 0 ig-platform-id: 01620007, Stolen RAM for FB: 0MB, Pipes: 0, Ports: 0, FBMem: 0
Come risolvere?

    HDMI Video output on Mavericks

Does anyone know of a way to get HDMI Video output working on Mavericks, Only way I can get video is by booting with -f -x, and because of that I have no QE/CI. And worse performance than before I put in the kexts for my Gigabye R7 250 2Gb OC card.
  22. Hello guys, i have a Asus S400CA which has a realtek alc269 (i know this codec is pretty common and there are a lot variations of this codec) and i tried all of mirone kexts for el capitan. All of them doesn't really work. Some of which are internal speakers work but headphone jack doesn't where others is completely doesn't work at all. So i've been using voodoohda as I'm not competence in patching an applehda for my codec. The drawback of using voodoo is that whenever i plug in the headphone i have to manually switch the sound to headphone in sys pref. And hdmi audio doesn't work. So I managed to found a guide by Allan to enable hd4000 audio:http://www.hackintoshosx.com/topic/21732-guide-enable-hdmi-audio-intel-hd-4000/but the problem is that i don't know what is my ig-platform id connector in hexadecimal number? The guide doesn't have the hexadecimal number for my ig-platform-id. Im using clover boot loader and my ig-platform id is 0x01660003. Basically my hdmi is working just that no audio coming out of the tv. Thank you very much
  23. Hi people, can someone help to put my HDMI sound working? I already tried different methods and I can't figure a way to fix this problem. And another question, someone knows why the HDMI port just work if i use macbook pro 14,2 on smbios? Because my hardware is much more similar to 14,3. thanks guys My system dump CLOVER.zip DarwinDumper_3.0.4_01.02_12.24.51_MacBookPro14,2_AMI_X64_4392_High Sierra_17D47.zip
  24. I tried using HDMI video output to output video to my 2 monitors because DVI-A and VGA give a really fuzzy image at a high resolution but when I attempt to output, I will see the screen displaying static or it will display random textures and patterns and my computer will crash. I use a gigabyte H87 motherboard along with intel HD 4600 and a Nvidia GTX 650 1GB graphics card
  25. I've always used Nvidia Graphic Cards ... but recently I got tired of not being able to make my 9800GT work with HDMI on my SandyBridge. So I'm thinking of buying a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD5770 1GB DDR5 ( Not the Vapor-X )and would like to know if it is fully working with HDMI .. Can anyone confirm for me!? It's hard to make this HD5770 to work or it is OOB? Thank you!
