    Abilitare porta HDMI Asus K550JX

A voi cosa risulta? Riuscireste a darmi una mano? Grazie anticipatamente.

    HDMI 2.0 for 4k 60hz?

    I know Mac doesn't support this because there are no Macs with HDMI 2.0. However, we are using an Nvidia driver, with an Nvidia card, so I'm sure there's a way we could get 60hz with 4k? If not, will using a displayport cable solve my problem? I hope so. Regardless, HDMI would be nice

Anticipadamente, gracias.
  13. Hi everyone, I got a very odd problem after updating to 10.12.5 and I'll try explaining it to the best I can along all troubleshooting I did... I have a Macbook Pro retina 13" (early 2015) that I've always used with two Samsung external monitors (both are the same model). One of them is connected directly through the HDMI port located on the right side of the Macbook Pro, the other one connected through a thunderbolt-to-HDMI cable. It has always worked until last week when I updated to 10.12.5. After the update, I quickly noticed that my Macbook Pro wouldn’t detect any external display via thunderbolt-to-HDMI. Thus, I started a long process of troubleshooting, and here’s all I’ve tried: Assuming it could have been a defective cable, I’ve tried 3 different ones, still no luck I’ve tried both thunderbolt entry, still no luck I’ve tried thunderbolt-to-VGA, it WORKS, yes, I know this is insane. I’ve tried to connect thunderbolt-to-HDMI (still with all 3 cables) on older Samsung monitors (again two older monitors were the same model, it was my old setup)… it worked Then, I assumed it was the Samsung monitors that were broken (the two of them at the same time…? Odd, isn’t it?). Thus, I tried to connect them on my mac mini, the same way I always did on my Macbook pro… And it works… Then I tried to reproduce the problem on my mom’s Macbook Pro retina 13” (exact same model I have the problem with and same update)... It works Then I assumed the problem must be coming from my Macbook Pro. Thus, I booted on Windows 8 (bootcamp), it works. Starting to lose my mind… I booted from an external hard drive I have (running an early sierra version), it didn’t work either (I had used this external hard drive in the past and it was WORKING) I've done a factory reset, still not working EDIT (forgot to mention): SMC, no luck NVRAM, no luck So in a nutshell, the problem seems to appear only via thunderbolt-to-HDMI, only on this specific Macbook Pro, and specifically on macOS. I’m no expert and I don’t know what else I can do. Of course I've tried contacting Apple many times but they keep blaming me for updating my mac and/or Samsung for making the environment not compatible, which I believe is a total nonsense. Has anyone encounter any similar problem? Does anyone know what it could be? I’m desperate so I’d like to thank y’all in advance for your help. Cheers

    No HDMI Audio

    Hi everyone. My Sierra 10.12.5 is with everything running except the audio HDMI. I used AppleHDA.kext and HDAEnabler.kext to make the motherboard audio work. I have also tried lilu.kext and applealc.kext and the -lilubeta and -alcbeta flags. Is there any way to make it work?
  15. I have a Mac mini server with Yosemite, and I plugged a VGA Display using a VGA/HDMI adapter. The issue is, when I shut down or restart the server, the display is not recognized, then I need to go to unplug and plug again, and server now recognizes the display. I need to know how to make a logical "reconnection" for the adapter. For example on Windows I use a devcom application to enable or disable the devices. I was reading that the possible solution is using a kextunload command on terminal. I don't know which kextfile I need to "unload" for the HDMI adapter. On terminal: /System/Library/Extensions/ kextunload exampleflile.kext kextload examplefile.kext Anybody have an idea about my issue? Another way to solve it? Thanks in advance Greetings from Mexico.
  16. Hello! Does anyone know if R9 285 or R9 280 work OOB in Yosemite?I know for sure that R9 280X does,but I'm not sure about these two cards..I haven't found many topics in which they are mentioned, and I want to be sure that HDMI and DVI work OOB..has anyone tested them?I don't want to buy a graphics card and then have to return it and buy another one..
  17. Hackintosh Spectre XT 15t-400 Touchsmart Sierra For complete info go to my repo https://github.com/joaquinperaza/Hackintosh-HP-SpectreXT-15t-4000 This i just a future discussion post. I want to contribute as thank of all your help. I made this repo to collect all related info about this laptop. I am not using other dsdt or ssdt patches than clover ones, but I am open to your contributions. Where to start: Have a Mac? So prepare a USB using your preferred method, you can choose: Clover (Base guide Dont have a mac? Dont worry you can use a virtual box machine in your HP: To set up the vm use: http://www.wikigain.com/install-macos-sierra-10-12-virtualbox/ I discovered and posted how to run usb intaller in VirtualBox VM using Linux/Windows host:https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/5zks4c/create_sierra_bootable_usb_from_virtualbox/ I followed this guide that was the most similar to this model: https://www.google.com.uy/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiT2KW8v9HTAhWGIJAKHRtkAZIQFgggMAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.reddit.com%2Fr%2Fhackintosh%2Fcomments%2F5pwtdd%2Fhp_spectre_xt_pro_13b000_running_macos_sierra%2F&usg=AFQjCNEXuPraFVEtqD7am308-wVd7ssCZQ So I did it with UxxxBxxx, with this options: UEFI Mode and Inject Intel USB installer tunning: After completing the UxxBxxx installation donwload clover configurator and add the settings that appear in cloverconfIMG folder. PD:You should also select -v (verbose) flag in boot section in first tests. PD:Ignore ket patches for the moment Copy the drivers inside the drivers64UEFI folder to your EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI folder. Copy the kexts from the kext folder to your EFI/CLOVER/kexts EXCLUDE VoodooHDA inside kext/10.12 folder. Sierra install: Now you're ready to run Sierra installer (if you are lucky the only issue you would have is no mouse and keyboard during install). Follow normal instructions for install OSX. Key points: Disable Secure boot in bios and disable legacy, enable cpu virtualization Boot vith -v flags in first tests. Post installation: Install those 'post install kext' with EasyKext Pro: VoodooPS2Controller.kext (Enable mouse and keyboard) USBInjectAll.kext (enable touchscreen and webcam) Dont install the optionals fixes yet. Reagarding audio i have tested to solution: Apply AppleHDA patched kext (Inside other files folder) //No microphone Use VoodooHDA installer and add the VoodooHDA inside kext/10.12 folder to clover. VoodooHDA provide microphone and beats audio but less quality and no volume. Hdmi fix: The plattform 0x01660004 dont have connectors, but is the onlyone compatible with our screen, so I patched the HEX table for you to make our screen compatible with 0x01660008 wich natively support our HDMI port. Just delete AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext from your System/Library/Estensions folder and immediately install the one inside kext folder/optional fixes with EasyKext Pro Then add this kextspatches in CloverConfigurator: | Name | Find | Replace | Plist checked? | | ------ | ------ | ------ | ------ | | AppleIntelFramebufferCapri | 04006601 01030101 00000002 | 04006601 01020402 00000004 | NO | | AppleIntelFramebufferCapri | 05030000 02000000 30020000 00000000 01000000 40000000 00000000 01000000 40000000 00000000 01000000 40000000 00000000 00000000 | 05030000 02000000 30020000 02050000 00080000 06000000 03040000 00040000 81000000 04060000 00040000 81000000 00000000 00020011 | NO | Wifi fix: Unfortunately our Intel Centrino N wifi card is not compatible i bought an Atheros AR9285 AR5B95, just replace and add install kexts inside Atheros AR9285 AR5B95 Sierra with EasyKext. | Name | Find | Replace | Plist checked? | | ------ | ------ | ------ | ------ | | AirPortAtheros40 | pci168c,30 | pci168c,2b | YES | Author Disclaimer: The majority of the software is public on the internet, I only have patched some files and wrote this guide, I am not responsible of any possible damage to your PC, do it at your own risk despite I consider it worth it. HD4600 (mobile) - can't use HDMI

    Hello I can't use HDMI, when I plug the cable (with laptop off or on), the screen becomes black. What can I do? I tried FakePCIID and AppleIntelHD (actually they are both in my kexts folder). Here's my config. If fixing HDMi is not possible can I make VGA working instead? Sorry for my english. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>ACPI</key> <dict> <key>DSDT</key> <dict> <key>Debug</key> <false/> <key>DropOEM_DSM</key> <false/> <key>Fixes</key> <dict> <key>AddPNLF_1000000</key> <true/> <key>FixLAN_2000</key> <true/> <key>NewWay_80000000</key> <true/> </dict> <key>Patches</key> <array> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>change EHC1 to EH01</string> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> RUhDMQ== </data> <key>Replace</key> <data> RUgwMQ== </data> </dict> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>change EHC2 to EH02</string> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> RUhDMg== </data> <key>Replace</key> <data> RUgwMg== </data> </dict> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>change GFX0 to IGPU</string> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> R0ZYMA== </data> <key>Replace</key> <data> SUdQVQ== </data> </dict> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>change B0D3 to HDAU</string> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> QjBEMw== </data> <key>Replace</key> <data> SERBVQ== </data> </dict> </array> <key>ReuseFFFF</key> <false/> </dict> <key>DropTables</key> <array> <dict> <key>Signature</key> <string>#MCFG</string> </dict> <dict> <key>Signature</key> <string>DMAR</string> </dict> </array> <key>SSDT</key> <dict> <key>DropOem</key> <false/> <key>Generate</key> <false/> <key>PluginType</key> <integer>1</integer> </dict> </dict> <key>Boot</key> <dict> <key>Arguments</key> <string>nv_disable=1 kext-dev-mode=1</string> <key>Debug</key> <false/> <key>Legacy</key> <string>LegacyBiosDefault</string> <key>NeverHibernate</key> <true/> <key>Secure</key> <false/> <key>Timeout</key> <integer>5</integer> <key>XMPDetection</key> <string>Yes</string> </dict> <key>CPU</key> <dict> <key>UseARTFrequency</key> <false/> </dict> <key>Devices</key> <dict> <key>FakeID</key> <dict> <key>IntelGFX</key> <string>0x04128086</string> </dict> <key>USB</key> <dict> <key>AddClockID</key> <true/> <key>FixOwnership</key> <true/> <key>Inject</key> <true/> </dict> </dict> <key>DisableDrivers</key> <array> <string>VBoxHfs</string> </array> <key>GUI</key> <dict> <key>Custom</key> <dict> <key>Entries</key> <array> <dict> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>FullTitle</key> <string>UEFI internal</string> <key>Hidden</key> <string>Always</string> <key>Ignore</key> <false/> <key>NoCaches</key> <false/> <key>Type</key> <string>Other</string> </dict> </array> </dict> <key>Mouse</key> <dict> <key>DoubleClick</key> <integer>500</integer> <key>Enabled</key> <false/> <key>Mirror</key> <false/> <key>Speed</key> <integer>8</integer> </dict> <key>Scan</key> <dict> <key>Entries</key> <true/> <key>Legacy</key> <true/> <key>Linux</key> <false/> <key>Tool</key> <true/> </dict> <key>Theme</key> <string>El Capitan</string> </dict> <key>Graphics</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <dict> <key>ATI</key> <false/> <key>Intel</key> <true/> <key>NVidia</key> <false/> </dict> <key>LoadVBios</key> <true/> <key>NvidiaSingle</key> <false/> <key>VideoPorts</key> <integer>3</integer> <key>ig-platform-id</key> <string>0x0a260006</string> </dict> <key>KernelAndKextPatches</key> <dict> <key>AppleRTC</key> <true/> <key>AsusAICPUPM</key> <false/> <key>Debug</key> <false/> <key>DellSMBIOSPatch</key> <false/> <key>ForceKextsToLoad</key> <array> <string>\System\Library\Extensions\IONetworkingFamily.kext</string> </array> <key>KernelCpu</key> <false/> <key>KernelHaswellE</key> <false/> <key>KernelLapic</key> <false/> <key>KernelPm</key> <true/> <key>KextsToPatch</key> <array> <dict> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> AQAAdSU= </data> <key>Name</key> <string>IOGraphicsFamily</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> AQAA6yU= </data> </dict> </array> </dict> <key>RtVariables</key> <dict> <key>BooterConfig</key> <string>0x28</string> <key>CsrActiveConfig</key> <string>0x3</string> </dict> <key>SMBIOS</key> <dict> <key>BiosReleaseDate</key> <string>12/22/2016</string> <key>BiosVendor</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>BiosVersion</key> <string>MBP111.88Z.0138.B21.1612221936</string> <key>Board-ID</key> <string>Mac-189A3D4F975D5FFC</string> <key>BoardManufacturer</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>BoardType</key> <integer>10</integer> <key>ChassisAssetTag</key> <string>MacBook-Aluminum</string> <key>ChassisManufacturer</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>ChassisType</key> <string>0x08</string> <key>Family</key> <string>MacBook Pro</string> <key>LocationInChassis</key> <string>Part Component</string> <key>Manufacturer</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>Mobile</key> <true/> <key>ProductName</key> <string>MacBookPro11,1</string> <key>SerialNumber</key> <string>C02L3Y0FFGYY</string> <key>Trust</key> <false/> <key>Version</key> <string>1.0</string> </dict> <key>SystemParameters</key> <dict> <key>InjectKexts</key> <string>Yes</string> </dict> </dict> </plist>
20. Hi, guys! I would like to say you all thanks for your time. I saw how much help you give to people like me. I respect you guys! So, my issue. I have a Sony VAIO VPC-F13S1R that has the NVIDIA 425m video card and FullHD resolution. I have red many topics and tried many options which work with any other laptops, but nothing. Now I am on the 6,2 SMBios. I also tried to use the 3,1. Internal display works with the nv_disable, but has no full hd resolution. But I would like to have that. How can I get it working? Any ideas? Also, if I can't get NVIDIA working, may I use the integrated Intel HD Graphics video card that my VAIO have as well? Will it support FullHD resolution? Seems it doesn't support Full HD resolution, so the only one way to have Full HD is to get the NVIDIA working... I also thought, maybe Clover don't load the patched DSDT.aml... How can I check this? Notebook: Sony VAIO VPC-F13S1R Graphics Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GT 425m (max amount of memory: 1024MB) Display: LCD 16' FullHD (1920x1080) CPU: Intel Core i5 m560 Chipset: PM55 BIOS: AMI R0180Y9 Boot loader: Clover OS: Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 15G31 DSDT: in the attached archive Clover Configuration: in the attached archive Thanks a lot for your help! 21.

However, I can't seem to get my HDMI working. I have tried using framebuffer 0x0d260007 and 0x0a260006. the result is 0x0d260007 hdmi work but no qe/ci, then try 0x0a260006 qe/ci works but no hdmi output. Does anyone have any idea how to patch the HDMI issue?
