  2. Okay, my basic problem is that, despite VERY good OpenGL and OpenCL benchmark results with my graphics card, I'm facing choppy native Mac OS X animations. Example: The genie effect is choppy, maximizing iTunes, Quicktime, VLC. I've done the following with my rig so far: DSDT edits for my card (attached), including HDMI audio patches. Combo OpenCL enabler for 10.7.2/10.7.3, which injects device ids + netkas's OpenCL patch. Edit AGPM.kext (this may be what's the issue here, I'll try tweaking and report back), I'd rater not delete this. AGPM edits: <key>iMac12,1</key> <dict> <key>LogControl</key> <integer>0</integer> <key>Vendor10deDevice1244</key> <dict> <key>BoostPState</key> <array> <integer>0</integer> <integer>1</integer> <integer>2</integer> <integer>3</integer> </array> <key>BoostTime</key> <array> <integer>3</integer> <integer>3</integer> <integer>3</integer> <integer>3</integer> </array> <key>Heuristic</key> <dict> <key>ID</key> <integer>0</integer> <key>IdleInterval</key> <integer>100</integer> <key>TargetCount</key> <integer>5</integer> <key>Threshold_High</key> <array> <integer>0</integer> <integer>23</integer> <integer>70</integer> <integer>100</integer> </array> <key>Threshold_Low</key> <array> <integer>13</integer> <integer>40</integer> <integer>83</integer> <integer>98</integer> </array> </dict> <key>control-id</key> <integer>17</integer> </dict> </dict> Update: Deleting AGPM.kext doesn't solve the issue. dsdt.dsl.zip
  3. First of all, thanks for all the info from this forum! Some hardware info: AMD Phenom X4 ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe 8GB DDR2 RAM Nvidia GTX 465 I installed using nawcomModCD and a 10.6.3 Disc. After installation, updated to 10.6.8 with full updater. Ran ###### to set up bootloader and some kexts. Ended up rolling back IONetworkingFamily and USB kexts to keep my usb ports and ethernet port working. Found a VoodooHDA kext to work with the audio chip "ADI AD1988" Installed tonymacx86 NVIDIA Update to get graphics going on the 465. Installed kernel "voodoobuild-AnV-0.4.1" by andyvand to fix crash issues launching some programs. Here is my org.chameleon.Boot.plist <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel2</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>-force64 arch=i386 PCIRootUID=1 debug=0x100</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>1</string> </dict> </plist> System runs great! Was even playing some Team Fortress 2 on it yesterday and it appears to be solid as a rock! So here are my remaining problems: 1. When I shutdown the computer my USB ports stay powered up. 2. When the computer goes to sleep, the fans are still running. 3. When the computer boots, and after the grey apple, all I get on my monitor is a light blue screen. But! when I turn on my TV (which doubles as a secondary monitor) my main monitor suddenly fades into the OSX desktop, at which point I can turn off the TV. [The Monitor is connected via DVI dual link and runs at 1920x1080@120hz, the TV is connected via HDMI] That's it really, minor things i guess, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask! Thanks! -Metheos

550 Ti - Random Freezes - Expert Help Needed

Okay, I'm having random freezes with my EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti 2048 MB. Console shows this whenever the freezes show up: 4/14/12 9:25:50.000 AM kernel: NVDA(OpenGL): Channel exception! exception type = 0x26 = FECS Err: Watchdog Timeout It almost always happens when web browsing with Firefox 11 (not necessary for Flash to be loaded), and it also happens twice in a row (it happens once, then again at the next restart very quickly, the one after that, it's fine). Someone help me fix this, please?

    Guidance needed for GTX 550ti

Hy there, i just got a new gtx550ti fermi cad and i have problems win AGPM, acceleration under ML ( flash player shows software acceleration). In lion, i've installed the cl fix and iMac 12,1 definition, and got flash to use acceleration, both of them show hardware with low cpu usage, in ML with the fix, iMac definition i still have software acceleration. I would ask you kind, if someone can, i found lots of fixes and AGPM edits, but i don't know what to choose. I would like if anyone has this card to post here exactly what states work the best as agpm, and what fix should i use to enable full CL in ML. I don't use any DSDT edits regarding my videocard. E card is a Gigabyte 550ti to be smore specific. Thanks in advance.
