Create the USB installer for macOS 10.12 Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, Mavericks, Mountain Lion or Lion, Installs Enoch or Clover, edit/create/generate the config.plist or o.c.B.p, SMBios.plist and kernel.plist. Generate credible MLB & ROM, generate SMBIOSes (96 available) and its serials. Install kexts from a large selection or install your own in /S/L/E, /L/E, /Extra/Extensions or /EFI/CLOVER/kexts or OEM sub directories (also on EFI partition). FakeSMC.kext + plugins from both Slice or kozlek (latest) versions. AppleHDA patcher or voodoohda, Nvidia Web Driver Updater (download and installs latest version!!!!). Ethernet/Wifi kexts... more and more.. Auto patcher for unsupported NVMe pci-ssd disks based on Pike R. Alpha's patches (lnfo inside Pandora) Create/update/upgrade the Recovery HD partition. Mount any ESP (EFI partition) you have in multiple disks. Embedded web broswer, Youtube videos. Embedded Clover WIKI. more? can speak... really.. in en, it, es, pt, fr and de (thx spakk for German) Is Pandora's Box secure? is compiled from source with 80,000 lines of code, no scripts, no AppleScripts and no Platypus, is a real app: About Updates: Sunday 31 July 2016 Pandora's Box is able to update itself, the click counter from the Server indicate that 68% of users usually update through Pandora it-self instead of downloading again here (a lot of downloads ): Well, for users with slow or mobile connection this is particularly important since you can save time or MBs to download it. In fact only newer bytes are downloaded instead of the entire app, usually 1-2 MB.. and your Pandora will be up-to-date. Furthermore, Pandora receive updates for Clover and Enoch when available, at the same time maintaining a stable release to rely on (the one contained by default in the app), plus some intermediate versions if already downloaded. video by JahStories video by Fljagd "All in One" solution for pre and post OS X installation. Code redone from scratch, two new apps called Ares and Webkintosh: Ares, bootloaders configurator for both Enoch and Clover. Can edit the config.plist entirely with some facilities(as well for o.c.B.p, kernel.plist and SMBios.plist). Clover WIKI is embedded in the config Editor to have quick access to the instructions and examples. Ability to update Enoch and Clover to latest revision available w/o update the entire app. Ares can install the bootloader by targeting any ESP you have directly or in congiunction with the target Volume. You can drag your config.plist directly into the Pandora's Box window, Ares will be automatically opened. What remain is to edit it and save where you like! Zeus, is now specialized in kexts installation from a large selection, but also permit you to drag your kexts (into the Pandora's interface) and let you decide where to install: in any supported filesystems, in different volumes, but is also able to install in the target volume and its ESP at same time. Support installation in /System/Library/Extensions, /Library/Extensions, /Extra/Extensions, /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other - 10.X (and on all OEM sub directories), ...again at same time! Hermes, now produces two kind of installers, one with "restore" method, other with "createinstallmedia". Both are untouched installers (Vanilla), and no kexts are added, nor the bootloader. WebKinTosh, a web browser to navigate hot Topics on insanelymac. Use YouTube API to show videos and users can make its own on "how to" do things using Pandora's Box. More info here

Enoch boot hangs when KVM switch present

I recently installed a USB/DVI KVM switch to allow my AMD hack (see sig) to share a monitor, KB & mouse with my work laptop. In order to boot successfully, I have had to disable legacy USB in the BIOS, which makes it impossible to enter any boot flag/boot volume overrides. Once booting is complete, the keyboard works fine. If I leave legacy USB enabled in the BIOS, booting hangs after the "EHCI controller ..." message is displayed. What combination of boot flags and/or kexts do I need to allow legacy USB support and the KVM switch to play nice during startup? I am also testing Enoch Rev 2908 in preparation for upgrading from El Cap to High Sierra, and am having similar issues with that version (booting to an El Cap test partition). And, when booting with legacy USB disabled, the screen goes dark at the point of changing resolution, and the machine shuts down after a few seconds. Any help on these issues would be most appreciated. Thanks.

  5. Hello! I'm trying to install El Capitan on my Lenovo Yoga 300 but I can't even get any bootloader to show up after turning on the computer... I tried Enoch, Chameleon and Clover and neither of them works. My BIOS can't see Enoch USB, but sees Clover. Unfortunately, when I try to boot them I can see nothing... I tried Clover in UEFI only mode, with Legacy mode, but no success. Please help me! My laptop has Intel Celeron N3050 with Intel HD.

  7. I have been trying to get iMessage working on my otherwise perfect Hackontosh. The problem is i cannot switch to clover due to exception 64 error and it's due to my motherboard which is super old it is a Asrock-VGS3-FX and I use a Amd Athlon x2 Black Edition OverClocked to Quad Core with 750 ti Graphics, Now with my specs out for the way I have tried file NVRAM I placed the kext in my Extra Folder and put the modules folder in the Extra Folder but with the filenvram.dylb in the extra folder the system will not boot and also had issues with yosemite I had filenvram in my extra folder when I was running yosemite but than I update to el captain but on yosemite I had no idea how to use file nvram and how to get iMessage working,
  8. Hi folks, it's been a while since I had to set up a new mackintosh for me but since my Mavericks system got screwed due an sudden power failure I needed new hardware and got a used i5-system from my uni. It's a HP Compaq 8100 Elite CMT with an i5@750 2,67 Ghz, 8 GB Ram, a Nvidia NVS300 graphic card. It has a HP motherboard from 2010 with the name tag "Infineon-C 505799-001". I installed El Capitan 10.11.3 with the help of a USB-stick and Enoch according to the install guide from user 'VoiletDragon' over at the tonymac page but was never able to boot the Mackintosh afterwards with Clover and decided to boot in in a kind of legacy way by installing Enoch 2848 to my Mac partition and putting the kext's for AppleIntelE100e, FakeSMC, and NullCPUPowerManagement in /Extra. I also installed VoodooHDA 2.8.8 from it's own installer. So everything was working fine and absolutely splendid in 10.11.3 However, I wanted to update to 10.11.6 and backed up my /Extras as well as all extensions from /S/L/Extensions. I installed the 10.11.6 combo update and replaced the Kernel with the patched kernel for 10.11.6 that has been provided by user 'VoiletDragon' in his install guide. I then fixed the permissions and did the reboot of the system. And the only thing that fails is the USB support which just doesn't exist anymore. Nothing, no Apple keyboard, no USB mouse...nothing. I only have full USB support if I boot by ignoring the caches ( -f ) in Enoch. Any ideas what I have to look for? Is there a patch somewhere or do I have to replace some extensions? If this might help to get closer to the problem I'm posting my .plist's here as well. Any ideas are more than welcome!! Here's my smbios.plist (just crossed out parts of my serial): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>SMbiosdate</key> <string>03/09/13</string> <key>SMbiosvendor</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>SMbiosversion</key> <string>IM141.88Z.0118.B00.1309031248</string> <key>SMboardproduct</key> <string>Mac-031B6874CF7F642A</string> <key>SMfamily</key> <string>iMac</string> <key>SMmanufacturer</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>SMmemmanufacturer_1</key> <string>Elpida</string> <key>SMmemmanufacturer_2</key> <string>Kingston</string> <key>SMmemmanufacturer_3</key> <string>Elpida</string> <key>SMmemmanufacturer_4</key> <string>Samsung</string> <key>SMmempart_1</key> <string>EBJ21UE8BDF0-DJ-F0</string> <key>SMmempart_2</key> <string>HP497157-C01-ELDW</string> <key>SMmempart_3</key> <string>EBJ21UE8BDF0-DJ-F0</string> <key>SMmempart_4</key> <string>M378B5773CH0-CH9</string> <key>SMmemserial_1</key> <string>A A F 1 3 C A 4</string> <key>SMmemserial_2</key> <string>A 7 3 F F 4 4 1</string> <key>SMmemserial_3</key> <string>8 5 7 E 2 2 D E</string> <key>SMmemserial_4</key> <string>6 6 2 0 6 B A 5</string> <key>SMmemspeed</key> <string>1333</string> <key>SMmemtype</key> <string>24</string> <key>SMproductname</key> <string>iMac14,1</string> <key>SMserial</key> <string>C02XXXXXF8J2</string> <key>SMsystemversion</key> <string>1.0</string> </dict> </plist> And here is my org.chameleon.boot.plist: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1920x1200x32</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>HDAEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>darkwake=0 dart=0</string> <key>KeyLayout</key> <string>mac-de</string> <key>SMBIOS</key> <string>/Extra/SMBios.plist</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>5</string> </dict> </plist>
  9. Hi guys...been breaking my head over this. I am not totally a noob at this but from the days of El capitan I am having serious headaches. I am running Yosemite on Dell latitude E6220 with intel HD Graphics 3000 and i5-2520M. Almost everything works except the onboard wifi card. Recently I have been trying to install Sierra on this PC since there are lots of tutorials for this same PC. However my case is not a success story. I am getting an error 2 minutes into the installation that Mac OS X sierra can not be installed on my PC. Yet the specs are okay. In some post someone was advised to change the SMBios to one that Sierra supports, so I uses Macbook Pro 8.1 which should be fine but I get the same error. Please know that after finding issues booting with clover I decided to use Enoch the latest release and it boots up smoothly to the installation screen but that error is killing me. I have changed hard drives still the same thing.Someone suggested that you have to enlarge the EFI partition but my system is using chameleon so I do not think I have an EFI partition. I am not a lazy person , I have read a lot but looks like I have hit a dead end.Anyone with anything I could try is more than welcome. Cheers
  10. Hey all, I have a PC with the following AMD FX 6300 CPU Gigabyte 78-LMT-USB3 Mobo Sapphire Nitro RX 460 (4GB) Sierra is installed, and runs fine with these flags: UseKernelCache=No -f -v -x npci=0x2000 But if I try to use UseKernelCache=No -f -v npci=0x2000 Sierra freezes after DSMOS arrives Images: Safe Boot: Freezing after DSMOS: I'm using Enoch and Sierra GM (10.12.0) I've removed these kexts from /S/L/E pmtelemetry.kext AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext AppleTyMCEDriver.kext Kernel is 10.12.0 beta from Bronya, with /S/L/E/System.kext replaced by Bronya's copy. I haven't as yet merged the frameworks, but will be doing so in the next 10 minutes. Any ideas? What I've done so far: - Merged frameworks, no changes when booting normally, or in safe mode. - Updated FakeSMC to latest RehabMan build, no change when booting normally, or in safe mode - Updated SMBios to MacPro5,1 from iMac17,1. No change when booting normally, or in safe mode

  13. Hello, I am attempting to upgrade my AMD desktop Hack (specs in sig) from Snow Leopard to El Capitan. I have been running my Snow Leopard system successfully using Chameleon as the bootloader, and am now wanting to make the jump to El Capitan. I have built my El Capitan install USB in accordance with Shaneee's guide video posted on this site, but can't get Enoch installed there. When I run the Enoch installer, it gets all the way to the end and then puts up the message: "The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." Not very specific, is it?! Is there something in the Enoch installer script that requires it to be run on a newer OS than Snow Leopard? My only other available platform to build an Install USB from, besides Snow Leopard, is Windows 7. About a year ago, I tried upgrading to Mavericks, but ran into some post-installation issues I was unable to solve, so I abandoned that effort. I might be able to build a barebones Mav system as an intermediate platform (still have the Mav install app), but would prefer not to if I can help it. I am attaching some of the system.log messages produced when running the Enoch installer. When I tried installing an older version of Chameleon to the USB Install volume, I get a panic loop trying to boot from it. Any ideas? Thanks, Pete Enoch Install system log msgs.txt Edit: Re-upload log extract to include linebreaks.

  16. Chameleon and Enoch Intel gma Injector During last week I redesign part of the Intel Injector (gam.c/gma.h) due to the new hardware (Haswell) still need some few TEST and TESTER and than those changes are ready to be committed into Chameleon main trunk code. FIRST OF ALL I rename the key flag (thx Micky1979 and bcc9 (also read his topic here: http://www.insanelym...ng-displayport/)): - For Ivy Bridge the old keyflag HD4K-ig is now deprecated the new name is IntelCapriFB (match with Apple kext name for that hardware) ex: IntelCapriFB=a_value from 0 to 11 - For the Haswell the recently introduced key flag HD5K-ig is also deprecated and the new name is IntelAzulFB (Same things... match with Apple kext) ex: IntelAzulFB=a_value from 0 to 16 - For the Broadwell the key name is IntelBdwFB (Same things... match with Apple kext) ex: IntelBdwFB=a_value from 0 to 18 I also introduced the ability to inject a custom AAPL,ig-platform-id for those kind of gfx (Ivy, Haswell and Broadwell) the keyflag is InjectIntel-ig ex: InjectIntel-ig=09006601 (a flipped 01660009) The priority is: 1° InjectIntel-ig 2° IntelXxxxFB 3° the default setting (based on BIOS memory for Ivy, and default ig for Haswell and Broadwell) Example of data into org.chameleon.Boot.plist <key>InjectIntel-ig</key> <string>09006601</string> <key>IntelCapriFB</key> <string>9</string> <key>IntelAzulFB</key> <string>9</string> <key>IntelBdwFB</key> <string>9</string> ErmaC Click here to view the article

    My Github projects

My main Github page is here: https://github.com/andyvand At current it has the following projects: - decompkernelcache: This is my decompkernelcache project, now also with updated code for LZVN decompression and soon it will be able to compress kernel cache too. - Enoch: This is a custom build of ErmaC's Enoch bootloader, prebuilt with Xcode 6.1.1 - LZVN: Pike R. Alpha's LZVN tool with some enhancements, this can compress and decompress LZVN code and has C library for LZVN compression and decompression (except for lzvn_encode_partial which at the moment is still assembly). - macosxbootloader: Custom version of boot.efi for Yosemite (and older) with universal EFI support. For booting Yosemite on 32-bit EFI Macs, such as the MacPro1,1 and 64-bit support too, this is in general a custom OS X boot.efi, also now support for building with Clover tools (GCC+binutils+latest nasm) or Xcode (needs mtoc and latest nasm), now also option for building installer packages and hackintosh specific version. - UEFIRomExtract: My UEFI VBIOS .efi file extractor, includes windows version and sources ofcourse for both *nix and Windows versions. Will update this page if more projects get added Enjoy
  18. I am on the process of changing bootloader, to clover, but am facing a problem. I installed it to an external SD Card formatted as FAT32 on MBR, and it booted fine, into the bootloader (after some trial and error). I then tried to boot OS X, during the boot everything looked normal, but when the desktop should appear, the monitor(s) went to sleep and I had no graphics. The desktop had loaded as I heard volume change sounds and the caps lock light worked. Everything works fine with chamelon but I need a clover for the appstore and updates. Here are my specs: i5-3570k Gigabyte GTX660 MSI Z77-MA G45 Here is my config.plist in (SD card)/EFI/CLOVER <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>SMBIOS</key> <dict> <key>BiosVendor</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> </dict> <key>Boot</key> <dict> <key>Timeout</key> <integer>7</integer> <key>DefaultVolume</key> <string>HDD12345</string> <key>Arguments</key> <string>-v GI=Yes</string> </dict> <key>ACPI</key> <dict> <key>DSDT</key> <dict> <key>Debug</key> <false/> <key>FixMask</key> <string>0x3031</string> <key>DsdtName</key> <string>BIOS</string> <key>Patches</key> <array/> </dict> <key>SSDT</key> <dict> <key>Generate</key> <dict> <key>PStates</key> <true/> <key>CStates</key> <true/> </dict> <key>DropOem</key> <true/> </dict> </dict> <key>GUI</key> <dict> <key>Theme</key> <string>MavStyle</string> <key>TextOnly</key> <false/> <key>Language</key> <string>ru:0</string> <key>Mouse</key> <dict> <key>Enabled</key> <true/> <key>Speed</key> <integer>10</integer> <key>Mirror</key> <false/> <key>DoubleClick</key> <integer>500</integer> </dict> </dict> <key>Graphics</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <dict> <key>Intel</key> <false/> <key>ATI</key> <false/> <key>NVidia</key> <true/> </dict> <key>InjectEDID</key> <false/> </dict> <key>KernelAndKextPatches</key> <dict> <key>AppleRTC</key> <true/> <key>AsusAICPUPM</key> <true/> <key>KernelCpu</key> <false/> </dict> <key>Devices</key> <dict> <key>USB</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <true/> <key>AddClockID</key> <true/> <key>USBFixOwnership</key> <true/> </dict> <key>PCIRootUID</key> <string>1</string> </dict> <key>RtVariables</key> <dict> <key>MountEFI</key> <true/> </dict> <key>SystemParameters</key> <dict> <key>InjectSystemID</key> <true/> <key>InjectKexts</key> <true/> </dict> </dict> </plist> Any ideas? Thanks! EDIT: SOLVED. Fixed by turning off GraphicsInjector in the bootflags. Still have full accelerationa and it detects my card.

"%20alt=[/img] During last week I redesign part of the Intel Injector (gam.c/gma.h) due to the new hardware (Haswell) still need some few TEST and TESTER and than those changes are ready to be committed into Chameleon main trunk code. FIRST OF ALL I rename the key flag (thx Micky1979 and bcc9 (also read his topic here: http://www.insanelym...ng-displayport/)): - For Ivy Bridge the old keyflag HD4K-ig is now deprecated the new name is IntelCapriFB (match with Apple kext name for that hardware) ex: IntelCapriFB=a_value from 0 to 11 Spoiler 0 = 00006601 1 = 01006601 2 = 02006601 3 = 03006601 4 = 04006601 5 = 05006201 6 = 06006201 7 = 07006201 8 = 08006601 9 = 0900660110 = 0a00660111 = 0b006601 - For the Haswell the recently introduced key flag HD5K-ig is also deprecated and the new name is IntelAzulFB (Same things... match with Apple kext) ex: IntelAzulFB=a_value from 0 to 15 Spoiler 0 = 00000604 1 = 0000060c 2 = 00001604 3 = 0000160a 4 = 0000160c 5 = 00002604 6 = 0000260a 7 = 0000260c 8 = 0000260d 9 = 0200160410 = 0300220d11 = 0500260a12 = 0600260a13 = 0700260d14 = 0800260a15 = 08002e0a I also introduced the ability to inject a custom AAPL,ig-platform-id for both kind of gfx (Ivy & Haswell) the keyflag is InjectIntel-ig ex: InjectIntel-ig=09006601 (a flipped 01660009) The priority is: 1° InjectIntel-ig 2° IntelXxxxFB 3° the default setting (based on BIOS memory for Ivy, and default ig for Haswell) Example of data into org.chameleon.Boot.plist <key>InjectIntel-ig</key> <string>09006601</string> <key>IntelCapriFB</key> <string>9</string> <key>IntelAzulFB</key> <string>9</string> Here we go: View attachment: Chameleon_2260_GMA.zip ErmaC Click here to view the article View attachment: HD4000.png View attachment: iHD4K.png
